@@alexnewell8580you have no idea what you are talking about. This Sirena has 950 gal fuel tank. With current US price of diesel of 3.82 per gallon you can make the calculations how far off are you.
Even if this coating costs 1$ it’s a rip off. Coating a yacht is plain stupid.

Honestly coating a yacht is one of the best investments you can make to maintain it. The amount of damage the salt water and sun do is substantially more costly then being able to get it properly ceramic coated and protected for a year+ the time it takes to clean and wash your boat is dramatically lowered when it’s properly coated. Luxury and smart investments are not for everyone. When you spend money on a yacht like this the last thing you want to do is let the paint job waste away and completely diminish the longevity and resell value. Our jobs are not for everyone but there’s a reason we are consistently working and maintaining these yachts, yacht owners see the value and are willing to pay for the highest quality job.

@@CeramicYachtMasters I totally expected nothing but praises for ceramic coating a yacht from the business that sells it. You can play the card that it "protects your investment" or is "only for smart people," but let's be real here. The harsh reality is far from what you're selling.
Ceramic coating a yacht is just a waste of money. Almost every surface of a yacht is meant to be stepped on, and every rail is meant to be handled. This constant contact will rub off the coating in no time. And don't forget, the salt in the sea is super abrasive and will wear the coating down even faster.
I'm sure you thought, "Hey, it works on cars, so why not yachts?" Well, newsflash: yachts are not cars. They don't deal with the same kind of continuous wear and tear. So save your money and stick to regular maintenance instead.

Im not here to win you over but I don’t want you to leave here not educated a bit on how this works. I’ve been testing the top 4 marine ceramic coatings out for the last 5 years and have seen great results with them lasting 16-18 months on horizontals and 2-3 years on the verticals. We’re in south Florida so pretty much harshest environment. We go back to the boats and make notes on how they look and react to water or hydrophobic properties every year. That’s how I’ve reached my level of expertise in this field. Coatings can not be removed by touch and would take very strong compounding to remove. Also in this business cost of employees, marketing and product is 50 % of the job so you do the math. Also ceramic coatings are stain resistant which no wax or sealant is. We save our clients by not having to wax every three months and Mai range costs go down. So now you know.
