- I've had several commenters request that I check out Spaghetty Western, a local favorite Italian Restaurant in the southern portion of the Las Vegas valley. It's my first time here and I'm looking forward to some good Italian food and lots of it because

What are some other local restaurants you'd like to see in Las Vegas?
Love your content. I’m based out of Miami, but my wife and I get out to Vegas 2-3 times a year. We typically eat on the strip since that’s where we stay and we use comps. But we will sometime venture out and try non-Strip locales. Would love to see a review of Eureka and Echo and Rig as both of those places are on our list of places to try.
Check out 808. It’s Hawaiian. It looks wonderful.
I recommend “Other Mama” it’s a sweet little spot away from the strip if you haven’t been yet. Nice sushi/raw bar with steaks other entrees and quirky atmosphere. Only negative is that it opens at like 5pm so it’s a little late for some people

Many good options at Spaghetty Western but I think the Chicken Alfredo would be my pick. Thanks for another great video Shin! Btw, we just went to Mother Wolf and they did not have the linguine and clams on the menu. They said the clams were not up to their standards, so sad.😞

VWS: Although it is a local , the pricing seems more like the "Strip" pricing for food that IMHO wasn't all that elevated. 3 Bennys for that would was a bit much. No soda today? Anywho nice effort and as usual see you Saturday Peace ✌️
I found out from another comment that this restaurant is located in a more upscale neighborhood in south Vegas and that accounts for the elevated prices I imagine. I did get a diet Pepsi but I guess they comped it. Thanks for watching and I'll see you on Saturday!

I will eventually try out the Heart Attack Grill to complete my Fremont Street collection. And high roller restaurants are no stranger to the channel. I've already done the $1000 steak from Papi Steak at the Fontainebleau and plenty of my steakhouse videos should fit that criteria. Thanks for watching!

The review and food quality was good, but this restaurant is obscenely priced on their cheap carbs aka pasta dishes and pizza- each one was $5-8 too much. When going to casual Italian restaurants, skip the pizza, it's always overpriced and you can get pizza anywhere that's better tasting & costs less. Please avoid the $3-6 sodas when dining out, not worth it anymore, just get tap water.
Some local trivia Shin: When the Southern Highland's development was built over 25 years ago, it was built to be an exclusive enclave for the upper income. So much so that the public bus system isn't even permitted to go there and everything is privately owned, no public parks, etc.

hard to find good value these days... almost $30 for pasta?? Not like you ordered dry aged steaks either. Yeah that lasagna looked a little sad... $25 for a small piece of dried out lasagna. Looked like leftovers after a couple of days. Nice vid shin.

This Restaurant recommendation probably doesn't count as a "local" but I recommend CHUBBY CATTLE. I'd love to get your opinion on this restaurant.
Oh, Chubby Cattle is a brand I believe and they recently opened a new all you can eat hot pot out in Vegas. I'll go check it out. Thanks for watching!
This place is just okay it had misses here and there though,😕😕😕 but it was nothing to scream and shout about concerning most of the food, they could do a lot better with higher quality ingredients but it is what it is I suppose,😒😒😒 here's something funny because I live in Asia now I always do that every restaurant is buffet thing here because I'm able to now in America I was poor but no longer it's just cheap where I'm at that's why 😋😋😋 anyway since you live in Las Vegas check out this song it's called "Las Vegas" by Jok'Air perhaps you'll like it, we'll catch you on the next one 🙂🙂🙂

To look at those prices compared to Mandalay Bay and its like WOW they were really charging 15$ for a 32 oz drink over there. At this place 16$ gets you pretty much a lot of there main dishes. I am sorry SHIN I am still in shock from last video! But this place looks decent worth a visit.

The alfredo might be real alfredo. Cheese and butter only. No cream. Alfredo should not have cream.
Yeah, I think a lot of restaurants use cream to make it easy on themselves. Cheese and butter is a more labor intensive process. I've tried it once at a shop that does it and they had these days where you could come and make it in their giant cheese wheel back in California and I felt like I was stirring forever for my desired cheesiness level. How do you prioritize what you want to eat there vs what you take to go? Something like the cheesesteak wouldn’t be a great item to go. At the same time, if you take a decent pasta to go, you may regret not eating it fresh while you’re still there. What a nice problem to have 🤭
The majority of what I order comes home with me. Usually the bites you see me take for the video are about 80% of the total bites I take while I'm filming. If there's something that really doesn't keep well, like a guacamole or something, I'll finish that at the restaurant. It's a case by case basis. Thanks for watching!

Do you eat by yourself or you always have friends with you? Because you ordered so much foods.
It depends on the day and who's available. I'd say it's about 50/50. In terms of how proficiently I can work and create the video though, I've often found it best to go by myself. But I always leave with a lot of leftovers that I eat over the next few days. Thanks for watching!

Legend has it that actors Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford brought the recipe for fettuccine alfredo back with them to the states after visiting Italy. Apparently they gave the recipe to the chef at Musso and Frank in Hollywood and he put it on the menu. Musso and Frank still serves it according to the original recipe. So, if true, fettuccine alfredo does come from Italy.

If the restaraunt has vanilla ice cream and serves espresso, they’ve always made me one off menu- I did this the last time i went to Spago. One of my favorite desserts!

You should do my all time favorite, Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab at The Forum Shops at Caesars. Food’s great, service is great. Just make sure you take the Platinum card.

Aloha Shin! That was a decent meal at fairly reasonable prices. In Waikiki last night we paid $15 for draft beer and $33 for a burger. So yeah, you did good with the budget! Big bites and big words, you nailed it. Mahalo!

This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. There is no Cream in Fettuccine Alfredo. It's just butter, cheese, pasta and some of the startchy water from cooking the pasta. NO CREAM!
