I love that build up in the intro before Jacob was in and out of that museum.
Made me smile because he was a good sport about it.
I don’t know why some places don’t allow filming, it’s good advertising for them. It makes people want to visit.
A museum like a Creation museum is probably affraid they will be made fun off in the video.
More like they want people to visit the museum If someone post the whole tour on the internet some people won’t visit
When you mentioned how much you appreciate the artistry of quilting, I had to go way back and watch the videos you made a few years ago about the quilt museum in Kentucky.
I love watching old stuff from all around the USA and world
I can't believe the Ralph Foster Museum has the original Beverly Hillbillies truck from the show. Glad you had and amazing time Jacob! 🙂🙂
I remember making apple head doll's in my elementary school class
Wow! Dude… You’re one of the best advertisements any company like this could ever ask for and you’re free. I love that you smiled and kept on going to the Next location. You are amazing! Such a humble guy, authentic.
Thankyou Jacob for taking us with you on this adventure truly a cool museum for sure 😊😊😊😊❤
While you're in Missouri, any chance you can travel to Marceline, Missouri? That's where Disney spent some of his childhood. Plus, there's a museum there as well. Not sure if they will let you film, but the locals are super nice! Thanks for sharing your adventures! 😁👍
Hey carpet bagger me and my gf watch every one of your videos every day you post we love your adventures we love your attitude please keep it up we look forward to your everyday posts ❤
That was a cool museum. Have a great day, Jacob.❤
Remember being there when young and got to take my children there as well
Calling out the appreciation of quilting makes me giggle every time! 😂 The greatest truce / olive branch.
Amazing thank you for sharing!! I grew up watching the Beverly hillbillies. This was great, cool museum. Love the photo you got!!!
I Love the ' eum rule 💖 Everything Happens For A Reason ✨ I am glad that You couldn't film at the first place and that You found the Ralph Foster museum instead 🌟 Way to go with the flow 🙌🌊☯️🤩 I also love that You showed the Andy Williams things 💗 Thank You for another awesome video Jacob 🙏💝😻
I enjoy your postcards, I’m starting a collection of postcards from all over.
I can appreciate your newfound respect for Kewpees
Lmao I loved it when he was showing the dolls and the black ones and you see that little kid eating watermelon and he instantly pans away lol
My great aunt, who lived in Croton New York she used to travel the world and collected strange and unusual stuff as well. Oh my goodness the things my mother got after she passed was unbelievable. This lady had it all she was very well to do. I’ve only met her once, but what a great lady she was.❤
Oh, Alexander, yeah. One of my ancestors took over his job as secretary, the treasure. Oliver wilcock also when the sign was a decoration of independence.
I do appreciate your willingness, at least, to document the Creation Museum. Thanks for good content.
😊yes
I'm glad to see that the car from the Beverly Hillbillies survived. That show was a classic.
you teach so much lovely to watch very informative thank you
GREAT Museum!!!! Excellent narration!!! Attaboy, Carpetbagger!!
The turn from the excitement of "Philately?! What's Philately?" to the mild disappointment of "ohhhh does it just mean 'stamp collecting'" cracked me up.
Like the picture of you sitting in the truck came out good love the old California license plates they don't have those blue ones made anymore
Philately = study of the history of stamps and postal history.
I went to C of O. My dorm room was the Foster dorm, right in front of the Foster Museum. Literally never went into the museum. Thanks for going to Hard work U for us. Also, rumor has it, the museum has shrunken heads in the archives but can’t display due to Ripley’s but it is a rumor, so probably not fact lol
Enjoyed the RALPH FOSTER MUSEUM in/near Branson, Missouri! Great job 👏.
Best beginning of a Carpetbagger video I've seen yet haha
I like my museums like I like my bars, dimly lit.
Amazing taxidermy there Wow😮
There's also white squirrels in Piqua Ohio. 25 miles north of Dayton on i- 75
The Ralph Foster museum is awesome. The wife and I went there years ago, took lots of pics on my, Canon AE-1, 400 speed film.
History in the making 😊❤
I love all the random facts I learn from your vids. (Guns guns guns guns ) The corncob fact was really interesting! I don't know why I found that fact about it being used to call the turkeys was so fascinating to me. Lol Thanks for continuing to educate us!
I’ll keep that in mind for my next dual
my great, g,g grandfather was a country doctor in kentucky, He h
as a lot of history but I have read a story about him traveling all over western, ky and southern Illinois on horseback and often coming home with chickens and such that were paid to him for his service. He also was a Morgan's raider which is amongst some of this history.
I was a Philatelic Postal Clerk at one point in my Postal career. 🙂🙃. Fun job!
A great museum 😊
I grew up in Arkansas, and Branson was our backyard... I loved that museum so much, that when I was a kid in the 70's.... my mom would say... Oh no, not again.... but bless her, she took me every time. It makes me sick now to see Branson, and what the grab for the all mighty dollar has destroyed. Silver Dollar City used to be in the boondocks... beautiful homes on the hills of Hwy. 76 torn down, parks plowed over.... if you had witnessed the desecration and destruction... you would be sad too.
The tiger jump scare 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jump scares are rare in traditional museums, but this was a good one
season 8 of the beverly hillbillies was filmed at silver dollar city. Guests at the park would be asked if they wanted to be in background scenes.
The museum was great I've never seen so many different exhibits, very enjoyable.
I still have my apple head dolls. My great great aunt made. They are apple head grandparents.
I really want to visit this place!!! Thank you for sharing!! Glad you took your picture in the Beverly Hills truck!!!!
Great video Jacob 😊
Carpetbagger went LIVE from the road last night. He discussed his issues with the loss of customer service in the country and how he got treated bad when he had his last and final haircut. Carpetbagger said he became irate when the shop refused to trim his trademark chops, so he rebelled by taking up cutting his own hair with buzz shears.
??????
Morning Jacob, good to see you yesterday on Livestream, i was watching Billy Joel concert special on CBS, good to see you at a museum on video the Beverly Hill billies truck today. Thanks for sharing this. Stay safe my friend.🤓📸✌️
That was a great concert
@@mollysmith1226 yep.
Gene Autry wrote the song, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"
Awwwwwww squirrels! ❤️🐿
Beverly hillbillies last season was filled at Silver Dollar City. So once they was done they just donated the car.
Well, not exactly. Paul Henning and his wife, donated the truck to the museum because they knew it was the right place for it. He also bought several thousand acres to preserve the area around Shepherd of the Hills, and it is now the Ruth and Paul Henning National Forest. He fell in love with the area, and wanted to see it remain untouched. Sadly, that did not happen, but thank goodness the forest can never be torn down. Branson was my backyard... to see it now, makes me sick to my stomach... all that destruction of beautiful land, just to make money.
Sooooo insanely beautifully badass work of art in motion. ❤❤❤
That looks like a fun museum!
Excellent museum, well done!
Hi Jacob brilliant MU E UM fab collection love the new photo for your collection XXX
The Creation Museum has always been a very shady place. All of us locals have always wondered about it because there are never any cars there except the workers car.
😢oh my goodness
Yes, philately is stamp collecting.
Good Afternoon Jacob 🙋🏽.
I don't know if you know this , but 5 episodes of the Beverly Hillbillies were filmed in Silver Dollar City
I want a pic ....... I need to go here
I love your channel.... keep on truckin 😊
Nice
This museum is awesome ❤it’s a mishmash of everything my kind of place ❤ and how cool to get your picture taken in the Beverly hillbillies truck that was awesome Jacob😊😊😊😊
At 33:37 Carpetbagger gets frightened by something from head to toe and his camera hand shivers.
Good morning! Watching you from my place in New Mexico! Glad to have your content to enjoy. Say Hi to Jenn🦋-Suanne Nutter Birmingham to New Mexico
Yes it means stamp collection you are right
I once heard that rams and like creatures avoid concussions by the way their skulls are designed , these have air filled chambers that act as a BUFFER zone
30:03 i was looking for a welby guns stored
Awesome museum ,great video.
Thanks you for sharing this
I think I need to make plans to visit Branson. Sooo many things.
A shame that the Creation Museum doesn't allow video-was looking forward to that-but the Foster Museum was very cool-thank you!
Awesome video as always Jacob keep up the awesome work and be safe out there
Another good one Jacob. Take care my friend and safe travels.
Enjoyed the video, very interesting stuff in that museum ! That was very cool getting your picture taken in the beverly hillbillies car . I ve got a question, is there any meaning to the kewpie dolls? keep up the amazing work here on your channel , i always enjoy all your content, Ive been a subscriber to your channel for a while now. be safe in your travels. God Bless.
He did a video on the kewpie dolls just a couple days ago, it was interesting
I love your Blue Whale T-Shirt (even though you are too young to get the reference).
Dammit jim!! I m just a country dr!!
The Beverly hills hillbillies called the truck a jalopy
If you want to see the most guns come to Oklahoma J. W. Davis museum.
The Billikin is very popular in Japan, especially in Osaka.
Also, if you think that's a lot guns, you should go to the JM Davis Arms Museum in Claremore, OK.
I won't lie...... The only time I was happy a museum didn't allow filming 😆 🤣 😂 making an animal kiss itself 😆
43:55 is that a Greyhound coach in that photo?
😊I think so
I refuse to see Jacob say Kewpie with normal tone 🤣
Philately is stamp collection!!!
Jacob...do you ask first about filming or just keep rolling until they complain?
Good Morning TA ALL " Jacob
I awesome dolls & stamps car from show love it
Very neat video 👍
Twenty bucks for a picture of you sitting in the screen used Beverly Hillbillies truck? That's cheap at twice the price. Ok, I'm gonna call it, kewpies are cryptids, and in a battle between a kewpie and a polar bear, my money's on the kewpie. Also my Dad collected stamps, which is the only reason I knew what philatily was.
Buddy, I think you’re lucky to make it out of there alive. I don’t know what kind of cult museum you went into but what kind of museum doesn’t allow filming? What are they hiding? Glad you’re ok.
What was the year and brand of the Beverly Hills truck?
You should visit the Pattee house museum in Saint Joseph, Missouri
WWI museum in KCMO?
Are you still in Branson
Adicione legendas em portugues te acho legal
Isn’t it ironic here you are taking a picture in the Beverly Hillbillies car and today is Jethro (Max Bear) birthday.Believe it or not he is 101years young today.
Max Baer Jr. is only 86 years old. He was born on December 4, 1937.
The earth is 13,036 years old. According to the biblical timeline of history
The scientific timeline of history estimates the Earth to be over 4 billion years old. I think ill go with that one.
@@MichaelReynolds-ff6wrgood for you, nobody cares
Fun fact, The College of the Ozarks owns most of the land that Silver Dollar City sits on. The Herschend's just own the cave area.
$20.00 is worth it....
The pseudoscience museum perhaps doesnt want to be called out on their lies ha
it's weird how none of these southern museums mention the baldknobbers were mostly pro-union, or that they had their own rival vigilante gangs. so, so weird... anyway i love this stuff, great vid as always!
