I knew your instinct would be to re-fuel your Earth-Ohm obsessions from Our Skyy2, so hearing you go on and on about it in the intro was fun. I was laughing in advance for you to realise... And then you got so excited seeing them on screen together that you actually paused and missed the gag: They are brothers! Sorry Ryan, it's not gonna happen! 🤣 I was one of those who didn't feel like the creators really knew what to do with Boston. As if they hadn't thought his agency or characteristics through. And actually the screenwriter/producer Jojo, who's real life inspired the story, confirmed this when he said "sometimes we don't need to know why the antagonist does what he does" about Boston specifically. And so I was left unsatisfied. And I don't have faith that they will redeem that oversight in a season2. But of course I'm gonna watch it anyway! I am still not sure how these line ups really work. I saw someone mention that production wise, they serve more as pilots than actual trialers. And the purpose is to put out a lot, and then based on how they are received by the audience (and therefor how much potential comercial/product placement money they can make from it/get to finance it) they are gonna prioritize them and actually produce them. I don't know if that's true, but it does make sense to some extent. And if so, well then it's really about how much hype we make. If we hype up a pilot trailer then it's more likely to see the light of day.
One thing I learned this year is a lesson from The Unknown Series. And that is, Anything is possible! LOL 🤣🤣. Boston was such a memorable character for me. And he is one of those characters that I still think about every now and then, wondering how they're doing. Even though he made some of the worst decisions, and had done terrible things, I felt bad for him in the end. His character may not have been thoroughly conceptualized; but the unclear direction of his character and the consequences of his actions were what fascinated me about him. But as much as I would love to see him redeem himself, I'm not sure if that is what the creators are intending to do here. In terms of GMMTV determining which of these shows get the green light, and which ones get shelved; I think basing it on the overall reception makes sense. I feel like this is their way of doing market research and sampling, before fully developing and distributing their product. It's efficient and cost- effective. But seriously though, GMMTV better release this one! 🤣🤣
@@CadaoReacts Touche! 😅 I'll give you that one 😅 My point wasn't that I think Boston should be redeemed. On the contrary. I ment that I don't think the creators will redeem themselfs, and explore who Boston really is and why he acts the way he does. I think they should have followed through on exploring his psychopathic tendencies, and inability to take accountability or feel empathy because of that, instead of giving him and themselfs an easy way out by sending him off to New York. To me, that felt like a cop out. And so I am just not sure, they care enough to really explore him go that route this time either. Unfortunely. But I'm still excited. And hope this one will make it to the screen! 🔥
So true! It does feel like a cop out on the creators’ side. It’s too bad because they could have done so much with Boston’s character. Like, exploring some of his tendencies as you’ve mentioned.
@@CadaoReacts Exactly. There was so much left to explore with him, and they kinda just left him hanging. It felt a bit lazy to me. I wanted more! 🤩 BUT we'll always have the image of Neo and Drake BOUNCING 😜
Ngl i can see some of the series might get cancelled or changing cast or whatever cuz every possible things can happen during 2025 😅 so i put low expectations from the trailers…
Also, not sure if you caught it but Earth and Ohm is unfortunately unlikely to happen since their characters are apparently brothers😅
Lol I feel so dumb getting all excited! 😭😭😅😅
my bb Boston is back!
🐱🚀🐱🚀
