Hi Ryan! It certainly is hard to let go of these characters; we can only hope there’s special episodes in store for us. We especially need more of Jes and Bible! The chemistry is just chemistrying all throughout the series. On another note, I just stumbled upon this gem, which I probably should have watched before watching 4 minutes, but I didn’t know it existed until I finished watching the series. If you haven’t done already, maybe you could check it out too. It’s a 19 to 20 minute short film, titled Spaceless, inspired by Getsunova’s song, Spaceless. It’s starring Jes and Bible. It’s on Official White Music’s channel. I really hope you could do a reaction to it if you haven’t watched it yet. It’s definitely a MUST watch, and I suggest to go in blind😁

You were right about Jes singing “why don’t you stay? I broke into tears hearing it in that pool scene…may be I miss KinnPorsch too much I guess… Anyway I attended the 4MinutesFancon yesterday, and you know what… they announced the Season2 of 4minutes, the 8hours; which will be aired next year. Love your reaction as always 😊

I know many were scared if they would actually be able to pull of tying up all the lose ends in this last episode... But I think they did an excellent job, I had all my questions answered. No major plot holes leaving me confused or in need to be explored. The only thing that confused me, was the image of Great and his mom lying there shot down during Tyme's final seconds of 4 minutes.That scenario only happend in Great's comatozed mind, so Tyme couldn't be thinking/imagining it too. So I wonder if they were trying to imply that they both woke up at the exact same time, or was it just to "remind" us that both Tyme's and Great's alternate TYMEline was exactly that? Either way I don't think they needed to include that image at that time. But that's just a minor issue. I've seen some people critize the show because they felt like it took an easy way out of the story writing. Especially with the whole art exhibition thing. I think many got stuck on the idea of actual different timelines, thinking that Great had some sort ability to time travel. But since I caught on to where the story was going with the comatozed rewrite early on, I wasn't expecting some sort of sci-fi story solution/explanation, and so I wasn't dissapointed or annoyed. Allthough in hinesight I do wish they would have ended the show with Tyme and Great looking at the clock approaching 11:04 - that would have been an interesting way to end it and for the audience to speculate. I saw some discussions about whether Ton-Kla tried to save Win or Korn with his last move. But I think he did both. His main concern was Korn, and so he physically stepped in so Korn didn't get shot, but he also tried verbally to stop Korn from shooting Win, both to save Win, but also to avoid Korn from becoming a cop-killer. But in the back of my mind I do also wonder if he deliberately chose suicide by cop as a way out? I see so much of Vegas in Korn. The way he is just doing anything possible trying to earn his dad's respect and approval. The way he loses himself along the way; his morals, his empathy, his priorities. And the way his ultimate goal is to take over the company, just so that he can finally introduce Ton Kla as his boyfriend - just like Vegas wanted to introduce and marry Tawan (yes I am still fighing for justice for Tawan LOL). And I have to say, that scene of Korn picking up the gun brought me into an Until We Meet Again spiral. I know the stories are very different, but when they flashed back to the scene of Ton Kla and Korn on the bed talking about running away together and finally be free - that really echoed the scene of Korn and In getting their freedom. Or at least it did to me. Which made me even more emotional, cause I felt the UWMA blues hit too. Overall I really liked the show. I think it did something we've never seen before in a BL. Was it perfect? No. Do I care? No. I liked the format in story telling and plot developing, and I didin't mind that the majority of the show basically wasn't real. For me, that was part of mystery and fun. I'm not sure if it will make it to my top 3 for 2024, but I feel pretty confidant that it wil be in my top 5. But we'll see when we get to the end of the year 🥳

"Crossed the line", you say. If you go back to your commentary for ep2 you'll see that John and I had lengthy discussion about them crossing the lines between one night stand, FB and FWB (what kind of friend with benefit gives their neckless to the other one?) - and now we're adding fake boyfriends acting real to the mix. They might keep establishing rules of engagemnet, but in reality they keep crossing whatever line they draw. Mostly I think Dr Ter is suffering from a case of "I missed being adored and worshipped".

Ep3 opening with 69ing - that's a first for a BL ♋😁 I agree Wandee was out of line with his approach, allthough I do think it was both infused by Wandee wanting to change Yak's mind but also as a way to break the ice after the fight. But he could and should have done it in a different way. The hospital staff gossiping like that, especially out in the open, is so unprofessional - they are litterally undermining each other in front of the patients who's suppose to respect them and trust them. And oh yeah the actres who plays the nurse Kwan was in Last Twilight, she played Pla, the girlfriend of the blind friend/mentor.

No random curveballs for ep12..... Sure, let's go with that 😅 I think the beauty of the show lies in that specific conflicting emotion. It's the same conflict Yuan faces when he asks "is this a brother hug or a boyfriend hug?". Do they really ever cross that brigde or do they just decide to live with/on it? My biggest critique/dissapointment with this show is how they edited the love making scene. I really REALLY wish they would have given it to us that entire scene and the built up to it "straight" (no pun intented LOL); showed us the walk back to the apartment, the talk on the stairs, WQ finally giving in (not just to Yuan, but also to himself) and then Yuan taking him to the bedroom in the chronological order. Instead of giving us a mesh of back and forth, all the way back to Yuan being a kid - because unfortunely that "took me out" of the scene, because it felt like I was being held in an arm length distance, not being able to emotionally connect to it (if that make sense?). NC scenes are always exciting, but for this show I felt like it was suppose to be more about the moment when WQ finally accepts Yuan's confession and realises that he doesn't wanna hold himself back from taking the chance - and in my opinion, the editing style kinda robbed us of that that moment. It's almost like the skated over it, instead of exploring it - the moment on the stairs when WQ surrenders. Which is really sad, because it was suppose the BIG moment and one of the most essential parts of the entire story!

Uncomfortable? You knew the premise of this series from the start. Are these developments not the logical permutation of the premise?

The English-language idiom " the eleventh hour" refers to the latest possible time to do something before it is too late. While it makes sense for any culture to have a metaphorical way of referring to last-minute urgency, I have no clue how many other languages landed on a clock-time for that concept. The dying-brain clocks always showing 11:03 makes me wonder if the concept of the Eleventh Hour has currency in Thailand as well.

yaaaasss you get it ! the episode was so great because we see the actual timeline ! you ain't ready for the next episode ! OMG you will be blow away ! (sigh) your reaction make me laugh, even if the episode wasn't funny , but well in both timeline Great get shoot ... prepare your tissus for the next episode ...

Wow, you were not kidding in the Zoom-meeting, you really were confused through out this episode. However it seemed like you were able to put most of the pieces together during your commentary, after you had some time to think about it 😁 But to put it short: Episode 6 was the actual timeline! Everything we've seen so far, in ep1-5, has been Great's comatosed "rewriting" of events. But of course his 4minutes alternate universe takes its departure from the real life experiences, and that's why they look so similar. But just like Cher wanted to "turn back time" but couldn't (please know the reference, so I don't feel old LOL) - Great can't either. So he drove away from the lady dying on the road, he doesn't stand up to Title but help him get rid of Dome's dead body, and he isn't brave enough to save Nan. What I wonder is, why is Tyme so important after just a one night stand, that Great actually for once steps up? To me that feels like an emotional discreprancy. Was the 🍆 really that good? 😉 What I find interesting is how Great in his alternate TYMEline is unconsciously making himself look better. He becomes the hero who saves Dome and Nan, and he even steps in front of his mother, so she doesn't get shot. Instead of accepting that he got shot because he helped cover up a murder, he "rewrites" it in his mind as if he got shot saving his mom. And by that he goes from villain to hero in his own mind. And I wonder of that it indicative of how we are in general? Do we "rewrite" stories to justify ourself and the choices we make? I don't think the show in gunning for that message, but it did make me wonder? 🤔

As I said on ep9, the key word is "avoidence". Wei Qian keeps avoiding making decisions, he deliberately send Yuan away to avoid dealing with his confession, and now he is running away from his medical condition and whatever decision he might have to make due to that. He is scared of the answers and the consequenses. It's like Schroedingers Cat - you have to open the box to find out if it's alive or not. And suspending getting that ultimate knowledge means you can continue to live life as it it. Despite knowing, that it may be make belief. But sometimes we need that illusion And Wei Qian is scared of his feelings for Yuan, because he doesn't know what they will lead to. What if it doesn't work out, will he then also lose his brother? How will they deal with the world finding out, will people be able to accept them? And so supressing and avoiding it feels like the safest choice. 2:54 In the opening sequence when Wei Qian is standing in front of the mirror and he gets the nose bleed he does say to himself "If I find myself out of time, what can I leave him?" - so you're right, besides the brother-to-romance issue, he is also worried about potentially starting something with Yuan at this time, if he is indeed sick. Because what can he then possible offer him other than heartache?

Not older brother. Older brother + default parent figure. So even more complicated to detangle. You did not discuss the San Pang romance with the _other_ sibling. It is not just his own dynamic with Yuan that Qian must contemplate + reevaluate + recalibrate. It is those other two family members as well, who need him to open his mind to new possibilities. Arguably, in fact, accepting that pair allowed him to reimagine himself and Yuan. The equation is similar: he had to relinquish his protective role (brother + default parent) for his sister, which necessitates recognizing her volition as a self-determining adult. Ceding that responsibility to his best friend was unanticipated and unwelcome. Initially. But once he wrapped his head around it, it made sense. And if _that_ made sense, then Yuan suddenly seems more logical by the same logic. [Hope I'm not ahead of the game here. I no longer recall when Qian catches on to those two.]

I think "avoidence" is the key word. For episodes we have been wondering what is really going on in Wei Qian's head, if he actually doesn't want Yuan or if he doesn't *dare* to want him - as Yuan so eloquently and right on the nose ask him. Up until now he's just felt justified in his action sending Yuan away, without realising (or maybe to extent he did?) that by doing so he put himself in some what of a stalemate-type situation. And so something had to give in order for him to move. He needen something "external" to break through his walls, and the russian roulette and learning about the avalanche/the letter was the epiphany he needed to help facilitate that first step. Because it made him realise that his choices was deliberately made to avoid dealing with the issue at hand. We'll see this even more clearly in the next episode. Sam Lin really is a god amongst men. He is so gorgeous and intriguing. I want a poster of him squatting like that. His legs must be killing him! LOL

I did like the way the series makes the brother-romance palatable by using time apart + distance apart + patience. I did not think "jeopardy of life" was a necessary step. The sudden resumption of the Gangster subplot abandoned since ep 2 felt forced. Another example of drama contrived to be drama rather than because it fits seamlessly into the story flow. As a catalyst for changing Wei Qian's mind, that was weak sauce. As for Wei Qian's long-festering brain health timebomb that he refuses to get treatment for, that is a plot thread with a long build up toward disaster that the writers wrap up by

The time lines are all in great mind, all the people he saved by the 4 minutes future that he sees are all dead in the real time. Great was having all this vision bcos of the cardiac arrest he have at 11.00 so im guessing at 11.04 great will die or wake up.
