I agree with you on the Prim scene. It had no substance, and tbh the acting and lines were too soap-opera for me. Had they introduced Prim along the way, perhaps letting us see texts she sends Rak or something like that, then we would have some background into their dynamic. But this was just too superficial. I think the only thing I took away from that scene was seeing Rak being strong and feisty while confronting her, but realising that he crumbles as soon as they get inside the house. So he is not as confidant as he presents himself.
Prin is his cousin. She has had the life he's always dreamed of, a loving mother and father and a stable home life. However she is insanely jealous of Rak, everything he does while they were growing up she copies, including being a writer.

Right? That whole exchange just went on for too long between Prim and Rak. And you are right, the acting did feel like soap opera-ish. lol.
