- At 72,000 square feet, the all concrete Chateau Pensmore is being constructed in the hills South of Springfield, Mo, near Highlandville by owner Steven T. Huff. I find the heat /cold exchange fascinating, and the method in which each facet of the building is constructed with the greatest energy efficiency forethought in mind. Yet maintain this exquisite design.
Pause at 3:28. That is where something is in a bunker, the big berm that is about half the height of the trees. Probably the real nuclear safe bunker is under that. Specs say you have to have so much earth over your bunker to stop the Rads.

Those are not traditional Christian symbols. And I do believe Jesus said make no graven images. Did anyone else notice that there were no wooden struts in the walls It's All Steel. Also the product they're using is four times as strong as concrete. Why is that necessary?
He's testing building technologies because it's his business. The Law of Moses says to make no graven images to worship, but I don't think he's worshiping those pictographs.
They are ancient Christian symbols, not traditional Christian symbols in modern usage. He didn’t choose his words as carefully as he should have to avoid confusion.
Also, it wasn’t Jesus who spoke about not making graven images, that quote is from the second of the Ten Commandments given to Moses on Mt. Sinai. And the symbols aren’t graven images to begin with. They weren’t created as icons to worship, but as symbols to connect Christians to each other and to The Word.

The eye of providence is not a classic Christian symbol. It was invented in the late 18th and 19th centuries by illuminists / freemasons and the orthodox Russian church.

So how much will it cost per month to maintain? The solar panels on the roof will never produce more energy than was required to manufacture them in China with coal fired electricity, and they may fail in just a few short years. When you get tired of the home, who will you sell it to and for what price? Living simple is a more carefree way to go. A 6,000 square foot home would be enough for any sane family, and a 3,000 square foot home is certainly adequate.
People have been building way bigger houses than this all throughout history, for a much higher expense. It's not even the largest house in the US, let alone the world. At least he's using the project to develop technology for use in other buildings.
This isn't just to live in. This place is for elites to hide and survive the rapture or another catastrophic event, like the Coronavirus killing off millions, or the inevitable collapse of the US Dollar, Nuclear war, who knows...?
I'm sure this provided a good living for a few contractors while it was built. And it will provide opportunity to make a living to people/businesses to help maintain it. And taxes for the community to maintain roads schools and fancy fire department with great pay and benefits.
