That choke Newton had on pat was tough Newton was squeezing very hard and pat had no room to work. I don't think ive seen a choke like that before. But nice video on breaking this down. My only defense to this choke is to not gwt caught in it. Lol.

My pleasure. It makes sense you haven't heard of it. While there have been a number of bulldog choke submissions in MMA (Carlos Newton submitted Pat Militech and Chris Lytle tapped Tiki Ghosn among others), it is generally not regarded as a accepted move in Jiu-jitsu circles. This is because it is often performed either as a power move or with a neck crank component. But when done properly it can be effective and even when not performed technically, it can still very much be a threat if you are not familiar with the defense.
