It's scary, even hearing this. Beautiful message, but it stings my heart. It seems no matter how much I feel I grow, and how much better I'm doing than yesterday, that there will always be weeds in my human heart, weeds I hold onto even if I don't want too. It's so easy to get caught up in sin, especially as daily life makes it seem like less. It sucks to live daily life with immense guilt because it seems practically everything is a sin, and we all sin every day, eventually we ignore it and keep going, but like you say, the weeds add up.
Pray for one another, forgive one another, and love one another. Whoever reads this, I'm praying for you. God bless
yes its a jungle out there, we need the sacraments to survive and there is only one place on earth to get it, in the Catholic church.
I agree an why I left catholism for a time. I was like.. well if im always sinning an cant do any better.. screw it im gonna go have a blast.!!! so I agree with you there is a line there. Why try if its always sin.. Why try if protestants believe.... Once saved, always saved... What saves me is not religion, but what Jesus said in bible on Love... Being our father.. how are we with are kids... they mess up an screw up all time..........but I still love them an they try. Thats how I see, God seeing me... I screw up, I always will, but I still love an I do not think we are condemed for that at all. He says we alllllllllllllllllllll sin! We try, we do are best....... then we are ok.. in my mind anyways.. Cause im just gonna sin.. we all do.. Only one that did not Was Jesus Christ an Mary as far as I know. Dont condem me for Life so your not only one that feels this an its why many priests an nuns views feel like we are condemdemed for life..... bullshit, not true.. do not control my life with your self imposted Guilt... @@bwnco There is a general attitude that it is unreasonable to expect people to live out ordinary biblical morality, to have to suffer or endure the cross. People declare that they are not responsible for what they do and/or cannot help themselves.
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
Christ assured us that “he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” To endure means “to remain firm in a commitment to be true to the commandments of God despite temptation, opposition, and adversity.”

Ever since I gave up weed for God in the Eucharist he has allowed me to perfect my heart gradually so that I can reach to be just as his perfect heart.

Ive decided to return to going to Mass after many years away.
Not that I ever stopped believing, I still feel Catholic in my heart, but I was very conflicted over a lot of things(from the priest scandals to the Vatican to dabbling in sedevacantism etc).Ive been watching Mass on television/ internet but this weekend I am going back in person.
I know how much Jesus loves me and even though the church is not perfect I have to do my part and not become separated from the whole church Jesus has left us.
Also finally trying to get back to the sacraments anyone who wants to pray for me, its appreciated.

3 conditions for a sin are deliverance (did it), knowledge it’s a sin and desire obsession to it. Most likely a mortal sin cause it’s premeditated. If people can just realize how merciful Jesus is who is freely and bountifully gives his mercy Jesus wants nothing but all of us to go to heaven but we have to want the grace, in the end as he offers our deliverance he offers all the glory to our father in heaven for our souls.

In 1 Corinthians 7:14 we are told of the advantage of having a believing parent and because of that believing parent the children that would be unclean are now holy.
I understand how thru Adam death entered and thru Christ life came to us. Original sin, I can't understand that just by being born, without breaking any of the Commandments we are judged and sent to hell. An aborted baby, hell.. a miscarriage, hell..died during delivery, hell... so on..
If because of a believing parent a baby is Holy why would you need to baptize them when they have no faith and tell us if they die after they will go to heaven? They still have no faith and no works, unable to reason the difference between good and evil.
Would this state of being holy cover them until they come to that stage of understanding?
