@@TimSpangler-rd6vs Careful, friend. There is only one Church founded by Jesus Christ and it is the Catholic Church. That is simply a historical fact. Protestants only appeared about 1500 years later and their churches were founded by people like Luther or Calvin. There is only one Church leader who can't err in matters of faith and morals when speaking ex-cathedra by the power and grace of the Holy Ghost and he sits on the throne of Saint Peter. If you deny this you might just be committing the unforgivable sin, to sin against the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit).

Just as Paul said, there is a constant battle between the flesh and the spirit. We need to pick ourselves up again when we fall, repent and keep moving forward. Get revived by the mass, confession and the Eucharist. Put on the armor of God and keep fighting the good fight.
God knows what you need better than you do, and the suffering he allows you to endure is only meant to pull you further into his loving arms. It’s the old adage, be careful what you wish for. For example, I pray for God to help me with patience, and what happens? I’m put into situations where my patience is tested to an ultimate level. 😂 I am blessed once I recognise those moments and how to react to them. Do I succeed? Not all the time, but with God’s grace, he presents new patience testing situations where I can succeed and move to the next lesson. Thank you, Keith for your service and works! 🙏🏼

Thanks Keith, I needed to hear this today. My husband and I have had so many struggles since turning to Christ. We are cradle Catholics who never practiced our faith and when we did, boy did it hit us hard. All our possessions and money somehow vanished and we struggle with all sorts of other things. My husband questions it everyday and struggles with the suffering as I do too but him more so. I know it’s our journey of purification and salvation and God is really trying to show us the way to Him. The temptations to want our worldly comforts back take over some days but working on acceptance and humility on this journey. We struggle financially and my husband sees this as a fail on his behalf. It’s really a journey of huge growth. It’s tough when the world you are so accustomed to plays a tug of war with your heart and mind. Thanks for your ministry and God Bless you 🙏🏼❤️
I havent been attending a parish for about 17 years, I decided to try a local church this weekend. Ive stopped in before Saturday Mass and there are long lines to confession and 2 priests hearing them, so that seems like a good sign.
Im from TX, originally baptist and then non-denominational mega church. I had to leave the charismatic church because I was going through suffering but the church says if you give more, praise more, worship more then you will be blessed/healed. I did and still suffered even more. The Catholic/Orthodox Church teaches that I'm still blessed even in my suffering. The grace prosperity gospel destroys reality. Jesus is real and suffering is real.❤️
The main physical symbol of the Catholic Church through which it is recognized is the crucifix, Jesus on the cross, torn and suffering. I think ours is the only religion identified through an instrument of torture. The prosperity gospel is like the Pharisees who told Jesus come down from the cross and we will follow you. Jesus instead says whoever wants to be his disciple must pick up their cross and follow him. Jesus didn't suffer so that we will have it easy in this world. It's very hard for me to follow him. I'm always stumbling but the cross is the only way.
Protestant response. Yes, yes, yes. I couldn’t agree more. Here is something even more fundamental, both Roman Catholics and Protestants need to exercise their God given discernment when listening to their clergy. They are not infallible. If your priest goes off on an unbiblical tangent of some sort, don’t be afraid to question it.
The Catholic Church is infallible. So we don't have to worry about the same problems you have with your pastor teaching error. Your pastor already teaches error as a Protestant. The definition of Protestant is one who is fallible because the Holy Spirit doesn't protect your pastor from teaching error. There's only place the Holy Spirit protects like that and it's the Catholic Church through Saint Peter.
I remember going to a work based training and these women were snapping their fingers saying they go to church so Jesus is blessing them financially . I was very surprised by this and kept silent. I remember thinking we aren’t to be focused on this world but eternity. Now I feel bad for them because they don’t have a clue. Thanks for the reminder.
Keith, you speak truth. I despise the prosperity preachers who are really only interested in how much money they can con from the gullible people who listen to them. Copeland,Creflo Dollar(its in the name) Duplantis, TD Jakes, etc etc etc. When you own things then things own you!
ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: “The relationship between God and those who believe in him is one of warmth and love, not cold formality. The relationship is not cold like that between an emperor and his subjects, but is one of deep affection like that which develops between two friends, between spouses, between parents and children.” ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: “There is no one who cannot discover and find a place in God’s love. From it flows our Christian hope. There exists no one so bad, so brought down, that he cannot find a place in that love.”
Life is hard and we will fail from time to time but He is faithful and will never abandon those who believe in Him and repent . We might not have a " perfect " life but we have a perfect Saviour in Jesus Christ , Viva Cristo Rey
Life is a test, full of challenges. My mother used to tell us to imagine a sign, dangling from a string in Heaven, being dropped in front of us, reading “Testing! Testing! How much do you love Me?” Whenever we meet a challenge, remember that! Do what Jesus and His Mother would do in any situation. Our goal is to pass the test!👍✝️🙏
I completely agree with you Keith. I've seen the charismatic churches adopt this worldly viewpoint in the last several years, based out of the word of faith/prosperity gospel. The good news is not that God changes our circumstances for the better always, but that God promises to be with us in all circumstances.
hello. I'm new here. I love Jesus and wept today because of false teachers who are leading the flock directly into the path of wolves. The sheep who do not recognize the true voice of of Jesus. This makes me cry out. Stop. Read his words, it is life. Do not go your own way. Listen. Do not lean on your own understanding. Difficulties does bring you closer to God and test your faith. Patience and faith is key. Count ALL your blessings. The fact that you rose this morning, ate, drank etc another day to talk to God in spirit and in truth, is liberating. You can be angry respectfully, I was and it calmed me down. I love you all as God first loved us. He has given us so many chances. Do not abuse his grce. AMEN
POPE BENEDICT XVI: ‘Everywhere, on every continent, to whatever people one belongs, every human being is a child of that same Father who is in heaven, and is a brother or sister of everyone else. Christians should treat all people lovingly as members of God’s one family. The Christian community is open to everyone, as all people are capable of knowing the truth of God’s love. Christianity is a living faith open to everyone, and gives witness to God’s love for all people. Therefore, Christians are to slander no one, to be peaceable, considerate, exercising graciousness toward everyone.”
What an absolutely beautiful message. It's too long of a message to drop my story in the RUclips comments, but I am thankful for the struggles, the pruning, the challenges. I know on the backside of it all, my life will be bearing fruit, even though in my current circumstances, I have no idea how that's possible.
Not necessarily. Baptism and the sacraments are graces from and for the world to come. "For we know that if our earthly dwelling, a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in heaven." Though in a sense, it's actually worse than what you state, for we come into this world bearing sin. Starting from zero (i.e. "nothing") is one thing, starting from a deficit ("original sin") is something worse. Thus we need a Savior (the Lord Christ Jesus of Nazareth) and His means of salvation (His instituted sacraments). So we're born in a ditch ("original sin") and Christ takes it upon Himself to enter our ditch ("the crucifixion") while maintaining a lifeline ("the sacraments") to the New Creation ("heaven").
@@cesargarcia7074 Ahh the works related salvation where the scriptures do not support an infused salvation but an imputed salvation! The sacraments do not save you , they do not enhance your salvation , they do not add graces to your life . All mankind is born with a sin nature as we are born in the image of Adam not God . Gen 5:1-3 All mankind has a decision to make and that decision is repentance and following Christ or denying the Lord's sacrifice to cleanse us of all sin.. The only items we take with us are what we have done for building upon the foundation that Jesus Christ has laid . 1 Cor 3:10-15 is the judgement seat of Jesus where what we have done is subject to fire to burn away the truth of what we have done for Christ . Salvation and sin is not in question, what you have done is.
When you said we think God is going to fix our problems, He will, but usually not the way we want. This is where people get scared and back off. Asking themselves “ Do I really want to ask God this?” giving up our “will” and Trusting in Him completely? Some say “no, some say “yes”. Giving up our Will completely is scary for people because they look into the future. They still want to be in control. Well, if you start to really Trust in Jesus, He will be right next to you through it all. Just keep talking to Him or however your prayer life is, make Him your friend and also ask Blessed Mother to hold your hand through whatever.

Perfect timing again, Keith. We must be on a wave length. In a worldly sense, my world has gone to hell in a hand basket. So most so that I asked the Holy Spirit to tell me what to pray for first, because there is just so much wrong. The Holy Spirit's answer? Pray for a deeper relationship with Christ. I don't want to think of what the look on my face must have been, but Amen! We go where Christ leads. Thank you for your ministry.
Concentrating on Earthly matters to get you to follow Jesus Christ is akin to Prosperity Church's teachings. It's through the suffering where we find the true grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. 🙏♥️✝️
That was great and was EXACTLY what I was wondering about for myself, and worried about being subject to temptation that I am not seeking but finds me anyway, then fighting hard (and winning) to do right. But I was questioning if something is wrong with me that I even have the fight in the first place
This is exactly according to Today's Devotion in Catholic Church . Thank you for answering my question about the Beatitudes right there . God bless you .
Thank you for shering that. I live in my own flesh, soul, and heart how hard it is to die to myself, pay deaf ears to the world, and only look and listen to Christ. This blessed month is also one of the hardest because of what some individuals and collective have turned it into. I struggle with it, but I also rely on Christ and let him be my strength. Thank you for your apostolate. Ave Christus Rex!
Dear Keith, yours is really extraordinary pulpit. I can tell that this was some kind of stroke of clarity and revelation that you had, amidst all those weights. :) And you immediately shared that with us, which is really brotherly thing to do. And in 2 min you gave a really clear sermon about reality which is rather hard to cope with for many of us, and that would be beatitudes. Bless you Pave, Croatia
Enthralled by tales of triumph, I share with you the marvels Ana Graciela Blackwelder has wrought in my life. Through her expertise, I have ascended to heights previously unattainable. With earnings from her counsel, I have secured a new abode and vehicle on American soil, and most profoundly, I have financed my son’s essential surgery. Praise be to God, shalom indeed.
Indeed! I Witnessed the transformations of those who, armed with naught but determination, have emerged victorious under the tutelage of Ana Graciela Blackwelder.
Problems are just solutions to other problems and opportunities to grow in faith. So we truly are blessed when we endure suffering for His sake. Let’s praise and thank Him even in the hardest moments of our lives! Remember, our suffering is to glorify God as his creations because our suffering is a reminder that we want and need to turn to God, and that we must obey the rules and the landmarks He set in place for us. Turning to God doesn’t inherently bring suffering in and of itself. Human nature does. In truth, choices like these are a very joyful matter, but it still has a cost that we must pay with what is dearest to ourselves. We are paying for something that is immensely more precious than all of that though. I can promise confidently to all of you, since I’m going through this myself, that whatever we sacrifice for God, we will get something much better than that in Heaven. Even if we can’t foretell exactly what it looks like or properly imagine how it manifests, we must still learn how to have faith anyway.
In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives." It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. God will give you a new heart, and a new spirit he will put within you. And he will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And he will put his Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in his statutes and be careful to obey his rules. Jesus is the true vine, and his Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Christ that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit God prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Whoever abides in Christ and he in them, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Christ you can do nothing. Not even willed cooperation. The point is legitimate conversion
Just more proof Christ is who he said he was. He told his disciples they would be hated and reminded them the world hated him first. Why? Because he knew the true heart of man and understood our fallen nature. Is there another prophet or demi-god out there who made similar claims? That following the path he laid out would be more difficult than not? Great message Keith. Interestingly, the Priest at the Mass I attended yesterday pretty based his homily off of most of what you just said. Love it when a plan comes together.
If we focus on earthly achievements and wealth, Satan will rush in to help us make more money and avoid hardship because he doesn’t want us to turn to God.

This is not the Jesus that I hear in the Catholic Church this is not the Jesus that I read in the holy scriptures oh yeah this is the false gospel the false Jesus who his name is the spirit of the Antichrist whom many unfortunately are falling into his trap but in the meanwhile god the Holy Spirit is working also to bring many to his true church like you my brother in Christ and many more will come back to the one true church of Christ, our heavenly mother she knows very well where her son is and we all have to listen to her and let her guide us to the true faith and to her son Jesus where he is in the Catholic Church one true faith, one body and one god of all 🙏🙌❤️😊🇺🇸🇵🇹
Nothing makes me as angry snd sick as those ministers who push prosperity gospel. Literally, the opposite of what Jesus said. Not that being well off is in itself a bad thing. But it can make us closer to God being poor and relying on Him instead of worldly comforts. And the more attached one is to earthly riches, the harder it is to focus on the afterlife.
Matthew 5:1-11, The Beatitudes! Believe in the Lord Jesus, have faith, live in the presence of the Lord (Brother Lawrence) and do his Holy Will in all things. Listen not to worldly pastors and let their words fly in through one ear and out the other.

Detach from worldly possessions and come to the truth that NONE of it matters, not even death, if we can be face to face with the glory of God for all eternity! Jesus I trust in you!❤

Amen! The servant is not greater than the Master. The harvest is plenty and the workers are few. Everything Christ tells us shows us that when we are following the world we are not following Him.
I struggle with worldliness.
My reccommendation is to find an FSSP parish and attend.
@timothyoreilly6675
Letting things of the world go is so difficult, and I am sorry you struggle with this. It is a challenge to let go. The enemy wants you to be distracted by the world, to take your focus away from God. Turn to God, talk to God, trust in God. Ask Our Lady of Perpetual Help to intercede for you, and give you the graces to die slowly to yourself. Focus on one wordly additction at a time, so you are not overwhlemed. Pray, fast. I am praying for you, please pray for me. Through the power of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit...you got this!
I have no problem with that my friend!
The lack of response to the questions from Protestants is a red flag also they suddenly want to cut off Communications
The lack of response to the questions from Protestants is a red flag also they suddenly want to cut off Communications
@@PaulDo22 and quite naturally I categorically reject everything you said. The Pope can both err and sin as well as his priests.
Thank you Keith, yes we're all going to suffer at some point in our lives. But nothing compares to the suffering Jesus suffered for us

The relationship is not cold like that between an emperor and his subjects, but is one of deep affection like that which develops between two friends, between spouses, between parents and children.”
ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: “There is no one who cannot discover and find a place in God’s love. From it flows our Christian hope. There exists no one so bad, so brought down, that he cannot find a place in that love.”
Now this is truth… and those who love seeing God as a punishing bossman are just projecting their ego onto their conception of God
Never forget that suffering can become an addiction and a deluded conception of God can be used a a vehicle to validate that addiction
I love this!!!! Thank you so much for the comment and spreading your mother's wisdom!!
I completely agree with you Keith. I've seen the charismatic churches adopt this worldly viewpoint in the last several years, based out of the word of faith/prosperity gospel. The good news is not that God changes our circumstances for the better always, but that God promises to be with us in all circumstances.

You came into this world with nothing and you're going to leave this world with nothing❤❤❤
Not necessarily. Baptism and the sacraments are graces from and for the world to come. "For we know that if our earthly dwelling, a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in heaven."
Though in a sense, it's actually worse than what you state, for we come into this world bearing sin.

Iron sharpens iron

Thank you, Pastor, thank you.
Perfectly stated!!!!
So true. Thank you 😊
In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

Why?
