I was raised protestant and was what they call a born-again Christian, I did it all including speaking in tongues until God himself showed me the truth of the holy catholic church. Now I truly am born again. The people who thought they were catholic were just doing the religious motions and not engaging in heaven itself. Many evangelicals are returning back to the true Church, come home before its too late

I was raised Catholic, turned lukewarm for many years. Our beautiful Saviour patiently waited for me to return to Him. I was born again age 55 8 months ago. I love Him so much! Amazing testimony. It’s listening to testimonies like this one that brought me back.
I was a cradle Catholic as well. God led me to His son, Jesus and I gave my life to Christ at age 47! I always knew something wasn't right in that church. I'm now in a Calvary Chapel Church and I Love Jesus with every fiber of my being! 🥰 12:25

Blessings to all! Makes me sad to read these comments...I am a Catholic Christian, and I love what my Beloved Lord Jesus has done for me through the Catholic Church! I grew up being part of the Catholic Church, Catholic School with the Nuns, Priests. Holy Mass and Eucharist! Etc.
I fell away from the Catholic Church for several years. I have come back to the True Church that Jesus Christ has founded through St. Peter. (Rock). It took the physical death of a very close brother of mine to WAKE ME UP, spiritually speaking! I knew right there, and then I needed JESUS of Nazareth and that He was the only one that would be able to heal and liberate me from such pain I was going through at that time! And all the chains that were weighing me down to SIN!
I'm thankful to our Lord's mother, Mary, for her great Intercesion! She's always reminding me of her Beloved Son Jesus... to FOLLOW HIM AND NOT THE WORLD! NOT WHAT THE WORLD TRIES TO SHOW US WITH ITS PRETTY TALK!

I found Jesus in thr Catholic Church twice he showed himself to me. Jesus saves. In the chatolic Church...Amen The catholic church teaches the bible every Sunday its just thst most people don't pay attention. Don't stop praying for your children..I heard a testimony from Lee Strobel and that encouraged me greatly...he prayed for his father in law for 26 years and he came to faith o his death bed. Don't give up.

I want to encourage you, same happened to me, I prayed and prayed for my husband and my 24 yr old and my 22 yr old and my 16 yr old and my 14 yr old to know the Lord like I new him, we were all brought up Catholics and my eyes were opened first, and they all thought I was crazy 😂 it wasn't easy but it took about 3 to 4 yrs of praying and defending the Bible and calling the lies of what they learned from the Catholic church for them to see the truth. My advice is to plant seeds and let God help them grow 🪴 and he will ❤ my kids and myself and my husband are a work in progress, but they believe and we read the Bible together and we will keep trusting the Lord 🙏 I never thought my family and I would do Bible study together 🎉 I pray your children are saved in Jesus mighty name we pray 🙏

@@louisjamesmardi4669 read the confirmation vows. They match what you call being born again word for word. Same confessions; same renunciations. Until Protestants admit that Catholics fulfill that, there won't be much common ground to work from.
I grew up reciting this and it is meaningless unless you are Born Again in water and spirit! Jesus said it Himself in John 3:5! Even the demons believe in Jesus, but believing and Repenting are two different things. Being Born Again is receiving Jesus as your Savior, the only Son of God, repenting of your sins and accepting His gift of grace that your sins are washed clean by the blood of Christ shed for you! It's by Faith, not good works! None of us can earn our way to Heaven! Good works are the fruit of your Faith, not vice versa.

I'm with a Catholic since birth, who is 59 and after all these years, he battles with alcoholism. He says the hail Mary, recites what you posted goes to mass, and still he suffers from his strongholds! So now I'm encouraging him to attend the Christian church that I am attending. As stubborn as he is, I believe God will bless him with a miracle.. that he will be Born again, cause I believe he needs to stop praying to wooden statues and stop asking Mary and dead 'saints' to intercede for him.John 14:6. He didn't say that you, me, dead saints, Mary, the Pope, anyone else; but only, Him Jesus that brings to us the Way, the Truth, and the Life! He also said that No one, No one can go to The Father, except through Him! I want to also say that Pride sends people to hell! Repent from pride! Also, in the Bible there is no word in there called Purgatory. Believing that people can pray for the dead to enter into Father's highest Heaven, is False! The liar of lies, is Satan! Lucifer fell because of Pride! Ask Jesus if I am sharing to you truth or not.
The Lord spoke to me audibly back in 2013 . I was saved already , but not where I should have been in my walk with the Lord and I was in the hospital after lesions on my spine paralyzed me from the waist down . The Lord asked me out loud ,

I'm a born again Christian and have been praying for my loved ones to encounter Christ but I'll admit I have been doubtful and worried that it would never come to fruition. This testimony has restored my faith and serves as a reminder to never cease praying. God's timing will be perfect. Thank you Jesus! 😭

Don't be so naive. This testimony has some errors. When he says that his father believed that "only the pope can talk to Jesus" for example it's not a Catholic teachings at all.
Not saying his story is false or whatever, but we should question these kind of things and strive to find out our own answers. To question is biblical after all. 1 Thessalonians 5:21
I was raised Catholic. Baptized at seven weeks. First Holy Communion age seven. Confirmation age 14. I became born again as an adult, received the gifts of the spirit and so on. But I have returned to the Catholic Church. In 2011 I suffered multiple heartbreak, all within weeks. I thought I would not survive. I thought, I need help! Immediately! I don't think I can make it through this season..God help me, what do I do? I remembered.. Catholics have church every single day! I went to mass. I stayed for the rosary (which I didn't know how to do). I received the eucharist. I felt a teeny bit better.. went back the next day and then the next! God broke all that grief right off me! I am a spirit filled Catholic. I am more in love with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit than ever before. He is my life!

Yes, I am a charismatic Catholic, too. I meet Catholics like this guy's dad, too, who are poorly catachized and do not think God will speak to them (uneducated in the gifts of the Holy Spirit). It makes me sad when I hear that people have to leave our Church to have the experience of Christ's love that is so easily available. Glad you are home. ❤ ❤❤❤❤
I heard the Lord's voice like thunder in my heart one day when I was in the Catholic Mass. My mom had converted and she asked me to go to RCIA to just learn about the church. I did it just to make her happy but I had no intentions of converting because I was taught by my dad ( My parents are divorced) that Catholics go to hell. I was a third of the way through RCIA and I was sitting in Mass with my mom and all of a sudden during the homley I heard a voice say to me "you are home." It was amazing. I decided to convert to Catholicism at the end of RCIA and I have never felt so close to the Lord. I go to Mass a couple times a week usually, I pray way more than I ever did before I converted. I pray the rosary and four novenas along with some other prayers everyday. I usually go to adoration at least twice a week only because that's the only times it's available to me. I would go everyday if I could. I am so grateful to the Lord for giving us the church. I've been to multiple denominations throughout my life but I am truly home in the Catholic Church with its sacred scripture and sacred tradition. I've never had this yearning to spend eternity with the Lord before. Before I was Catholic I just wanted to avoid hell but now all I want is to be with the Lord. It's not about avoiding punishment and trying to get the reward. That's about wanting to be as close to the Lord as I can be. I want to spend my eternity at the feet of Jesus worshiping and glorifying the Lord.

@@use828 Read the Catechism of the Catholic Church and see for yourself what we believe instead of believing what others THINK we believe.
There was a situation at my church where a lady from the Catholic Church came (I attend a Pentecostal church), having met Jesus and become born again. She told that the Lord asked her to remain in the Catholic Church, but go and be baptised in water. This was her request, that my Pastor would allow her to be baptised at our church, which he did. The Lord told her that there was work He would have her do in her own church.
So comforting to hear when someone else besides me has heard the audible voice of God!❤
My experience was much more complicated and drawn out as it was the Lord coming to me and preparing me, telling me that my daughter, who at the time was only 16 months, was not meant to stay, not meant of this world, and that she'd only come to be with me for a short while and then go home.
He also told me I was strong and that I'd be okay, but that I had to prepare myself as she wasn't meant to stay.
This went on for months until one night she did pass away, of unknown causes, which I know was a spiritual or divine taking.
There's so much more to the story to tell, but it has isolated me I think from other people, because I had such a profound supernatural experience that most other people wouldn't understand or believe unless it happened to them, and reasonably so. And even though it was more than 30 years ago, I think about it every day.
Even though I lost my daughter, I know where she is, and I thank him every day, Jesus and the Father, for coming to me warning, preparing and speaking to me, this lowly sinner and servant. God-bless the Lord, blessed be the name of the Lord. Whatever we suffer through here, we must put it in his hands and trust in him alone so that we can suffer for him, through and with him to increase our faith for his purpose and glory!

I am a 70 year-old Catholic, and I have found myself coming back to this video several times and attempting a comment. I will make this simple: I do not care if any Catholics are offended by this story. It is a great testimony and it is incredibly beautiful. And IMHO, it is true.
As a 57 year old Catholic, who loves Jesus,His Word, walking in the gifts of the Spirit, and spending time worshiping Him daily- I know where you're coming from Ronald. I've come to know it's ALL about a relationship with Jesus, and with out that you're just going through the motions. The sacramentals of the Church I love; but truth be told when I gave my life to Christ in '84 it was pastor/preacher's like John Wimbur, Mike Bickle, Derek Prince, John Paul Jackson that I fed my soul with as well as many books on the lives of the Saints. I like to think I eat the meat and spit out the bones.
Those who r led by the Spirit of God( not religion that was started long back which people followed) r sons & daughters of God. I was a catholic & I too heard the voice of God speaking not bec I am holy or saint but Gods goodness & love. My journey is so beautiful after I'm born again ..pray people ,ask God to reveal himself to you , to show you his Glory!! Jesus says my sheep hears my voice, if u haven't heard his voice then u need to seek God for this is ur right & priveledge to hear your father's voice. To see dreams & visions where God directs you !! Jesus is the only way, truth & life . Amen ..truly love this testimony ..i pray & command this spirit of religion to be out in Jesus name that preventing people in experiencing God's Love & being taken from Glory to Glory .

I attended a Catholic boarding school from the age of 7 in the south of England as a young child. My mother used to buy children's Bible story books and l loved the figure of Jesus. My parents divorced 8 years later and only years later did l find a diary where l shared my heart with Jesus and asked for strength and forgiveness for my family and the woman involved. I left the boarding school and did 'my thing' until l went to live in Rome, Italy and was invited to attend an Evangelical church with my boyfriend. We were radically Born-again. All l wanted was a Bible! ! It would never have entered my mind and heart the day before!! It is in the Bible l learnt that it was really God calling me from a young age to be His child. True Christianity is a relationship with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I was never enamoured by religious tradition and rituals and in Jesus Christ we are free to be the men and women He has called and equipped us to be! He is the Potter, we are the clay 💖
Do not put you identity and your trust in regions practice but in the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit.

The same thing happened to me. My father was Catholic and was very angry when I shared my born again experience. He has passed now and I hope that maybe I planted a seed 50 years ago. Hopefully I will see him in heaven. Thank you for your beautiful testimony ❤

Wonderful testimony! I was delivered out of Catholicism in 1983. I love the Lord and want to serve him. I am almost 83.
I agree nice testimony, BUT I am Catholic and I LOVE the LORD and want to serve him. I know so many of my brethren Catholics that are as enthusiastic for the Lord as you can be. Pure joy in the presence of Jesus. There are jerks in all walks of life (we all are at times; some people even bash ALL Catholics which is the opposite of Love), but only the Love of God the Father, Jesus the Christ and our Savior, and the Holy Spirit in their perfect union provides the peace, the path and eternity we all seek.
Thank you for your comment. I am 71 and still go to a RCC. In a way I envy you. I have faith in Christ, but IMO there is something missing in the RCC. I did not know the Gospel well until I was 65, and now I study it (read scripture) every day. I never knew until then that reading the scriptures are incredibly vital. @@keithmenking588 I think you misread their comment and interpreted it to mean something else entirely. The original comment stated that they were delivered from "Catholicism" (as in the practices related to that church) not "bad Catholics." They're saying that the Catholic church is flawed in its teachings and so they were delivered from that; they were in no way "bashing ALL Catholics." I'd encourage you to read the Scripture more, and may God reveal Himself to you. Knowing the Lord is key to loving the Lord.
@@keithmenking588 Off the top of my head, one major deviation from Scripture that the Catholics took is their so-called veneration of Mary (it's worship if you actually look at the things you do related to her). Look into that topic and find out how un-biblical it is. In fact, you can see whose idea it was to bring Mary-worship into the Church by the symbol she was associated with (the crescent moon) --> this symbol is present in every ideology in some form that leads the sheep away from the true shepherd by distorting the Scripture (e.g. Islam's symbol is the crescent moon). Is it really a coincidence that most Christian converts to Islam come from a Catholic background? They recognize the voice of their master there
@@keithmenking588 Also, if you watched the video, you can see what the bad practices are - venerating and praying to a woman that is never called the "mother of God" in the Bible (only the mother of J*s*s - the human aspect) is a main one. Look into the story of Aaron's sons who offered "strange fire" before the Lord. They went in to worship the Lord at His altar in a manner that was never approved and it displeased God. So while worshipping the Lord is key, don't worship in a way that is not approved by Him (i.e. by invoking the name of a human woman who is unable to help you and does not need to mediate between you and God - only the Son can do that as shown in 1 Timothy 2:5-6).
I am a believer and I love the Lord. This testimony is so encouraging. Thank you dr. Myles. The Lord can do everything.

As a Catholic man this warmed my heart to hear. Such an important message too. Even if you’re baptized, even if you’re an elder at your church, even if you pray the rosary daily - that doesn’t automatically make you a man of God. You walk with Christ with how you treat others. With how you react to slander and persecution. It means living with love in your heart and offering others the same grace that God sheds upon you. Harden not your hearts. Be gentle. Be compassionate. Love you all 💙✝️
Did you not understand what the man said? His father was religious (i.e. he was doing things your church prescribed) but God said that's not the way to worship Him (because it venerates a human woman). It's funny how you heard that but didn't want to comprehend it and put a different spin on it so that you could continue in your ways

Thank you so much for your testimony. I've been serving God for a long time. During the covid years I dug in and started praying and praying more. I felt being led to pray and worship more. Also to pray for the salvation of my children children. I've heard the audible voice of God. One time He said pray for the salvation of my children. Another time He said pray for those that don't know me. So that's what I've been doing through prayer and worship and fasting . Sometimes when He speaks its like an inner voice in my spirit. I was also a catholic who used to pray the Rosary every day and the Lord revealed Himself to me and showed me a Bible and the kind of teachings He wanted me to incorporate into my life to be able to follow Him the way He commands.
I pray every day for my family to accept the teachings that our Lord has given to us in the Bible, but they seem distracted with things from this world.
Recently He just told me, "don't ask me to reveal myself to them, they don't reject me, they are just not looking for me, pray that they look for me", so, I've been praying in that direction 🙏.

How can you pray the Rosary and not know the Bible??? The WORDS of the Rosary consists of the prayer Our Lord Jesus taught (Our Father) and the salutation of the Father to the Virgin Mary through the angel Gabriel (Hail Mary). The THOUGHTS (meditations) of each decade are on the birth, miracles, sufferings & death, and resurrection in the life of Jesus to be pondered and kept in our heart with Mary. The words of the Rosary without the meditations (the Bible) is, as one Saint put it, like a body without a soul. Good form but without fruit.

I will always have a deep respect for the Virgin, really for her I left the atheism that accompanied me during the first 18 years of my life. But in the same way that I asked her and prayed the Rosary thinking that I was right, God showed me 30 years later that that is not the way. However, anyone who has not received that revelation and continues in the path of idols has made their own choice. A clarification, the first Christians were not Catholics, they were all Jews, the 12 apostles were Jews who believed in the Messiah of Israel, and so was Paul, a Pharisee from the tribe of Benjamin to whom Jesus Christ is revealed on the way to Damascus. It is important to know the truth, because the truth will set us free.

This is a truly amazing testimony. I too led my 82.5year old mother to Christ 2 weeks ago and she now has joy like she has never experienced before. We must all continue to pray for our families regardless of how impossible it might seem, because in God ALL things are possible.

I was a Catholic for years and said multiple hail Mary’s, served in the Church as an Altar Server, went for Catechism classes etc but always felt scared of Mary more than Fearing and having Reverence for the One True God. To me there were several mother Mary’s as each place had ‘our Lady’ mentioned with the name of the place which was always confusing to me. An encounter with Jesus in 2019 changed my Life forever. I was freed and Delivered from all religiosity and deception from satan. I am Born Again and I experience the Gifts of the Holy Spirit everyday. I no longer have to say long unnecessary prayers to Mary or saints which often felt like a burden and was a repetition of words that didn’t Glorify God The Father, God The Son or God The Holy Spirit. Many people don’t agree that praying to statues etc in the Church is idolatry but I’ve seen weird things like catholics garlanding these statues with flowers and even putting on clothes to the statue of Mary like the pagans do. It’s all unnecessary and won’t get you to Heaven.

I agree nice testimony, BUT I am Catholic and I LOVE the LORD and want to serve him. I know so many of my brethren Catholics that are as enthusiastic for the Lord as you can be. Pure joy in the presence of Jesus. There are jerks in all walks of life (we all are at times; some people even bash ALL Catholics which is the opposite of Love), but only the Love of God the Father, Jesus the Christ and our Savior, and the Holy Spirit in their perfect union provides the peace, the path and eternity we all seek.

God speaks to all of us. I’m a Catholic and I speak with God all the time. Reading the Bible always helps me to speak to him. I pray the Rosary everyday for our Queen Mother Mary to intercede for me. Just like I would ask my own mother to pray for me. Or any mother.
I have not found in His Word the command to pray rosary. Jesus is the Word. Men's doctrines are man made to deceive us. Let's not be stubborn as we don't know the day and the hour of our departure. God will examine our sins not our deeds to declare "heaven or hell". The only way to avoid this is to accept the price payed by Jesus in the cross for each and one of us. Religion won't save us! There are many deceitful spirits in religion to make us think what they want. If you want to really know the Truth, say when praying: Dear God, am I worshiping and praying the right way? Can I be saved in this catholic religion? Ask from the bottom of your heart and see the results. Blessings

Deuteronomy 18:10-12. warns against asking the dead of intercession. Its ok to ask an alive believer, but not the dead.

Thank you for this encouragement, I was brought up a Catholic, pre Vatican 2, we went to a convent school taught that Mary would pull us into heaven by the rosary, I had lots of bad experiences in the church and school, the cruelty and fear were awful, and this was in London! I met my husband when I was 16 he wasn't Catholic, and against the rules of pre Vatican 2 I went to his church for a service and realised that I had been lied to, I was welcomed and shown love, when I got back home our priest was waiting in our home to 'talk' to me, he was not sober. I left the church when I could, my parents threw me out of home when I got married (in a church but not RC), I went back to the church when I moved away from London, I found it different, Pope John 23rd had changed things. I attended life in the spirit seminars and became born again, the same bad experiences crept into the church by 'sick' priests, then cover ups! so I left the church again. I prayed for my parents when they moved to be near me and my husband when my Father was very ill, my prayers were answered when my Mother invited Jesus into her life, so never give up praying for loved ones, I am now praying hard for all my family I am the only believer but my God hears the cry of my heart for my Husband, son and Grandchildren, don't give up, Maureen

Exactly! And the only way to build a relationship with God is to be obedient to His word. Without obedience, we are still disconnected from Him. So we must believe on Him, be born of water and of spirit in order to start that relationship. Praise God! It is so beautiful story. I teared when I heard your dad accepted Jesus and your whole family became follower of Him. I hope my brothers accept Jesus such a super natural way as well.
I have a similar testimony all my family came to the Lord after praying and fasting for salvation of souls and salvation of the Jews. We have an amazing God. Our Beloved King Jesus Christ and our Beloved Heavenly Father and our Beloved Holy Spirit ❤

Well, from a humble Catholic I must say that there have been miracles in my life as a Catholic. Jesus has answered many prayers for me as a Catholic. Our Blessed Virgin Mary has protected me & lead me closer to Jesus who intercede for me to our Lord God Almighty & hears our prayers. So respectfully, I say to you learning about Jesus Christ, learning about the Holy Spirit, learning about the Virgin Mary, and all the holy saints and holy angels as a Catholic is absolutely incredible and amazing. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to be a Catholic. Such a beautiful, beautiful, powerful way to learn about You Lord and all of your ways.🙏🏼✝️🕊♥️
Please do not place Mary on equal pedestal with Jesus. Jesus was and is still God. Mary was a human being born in sin like all of us and needed to be saved like all of us. Veneration of Mary is a doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church that clearly contradicts the Scriptures. Roman Catholics who are born again should read the Scriptures and wean themselves of all beliefs/doctrines that contradict the Scriptures. Many other Christian denominations have false doctrines. There are some false doctrines in my own denomination but I do not follow them; I simple follow Jesus and His Scriptures. Those who are born again should not follow the false doctrines of their denominations. Just follow Jesus and His ways as clearly stated in the Scriptures. We are Christians purely because we follow Jesus and His teachings in the Scriptures and not our denominational doctrines.
I say this with all due respect, but please consider 1 John 4:1-5. "Try/test" everything by the word of God (Bible/Holy Scriptures). If you look up the history of the Roman Catholic church, it is filled with scripture but mixed with paganism and ritual practices done by the Roman empire. If we test a couple of practices of the Roman Catholic church, you will see this is what John was warning about. For example, the Bible says to make no graven image, neither set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down to it. Most Catholic churches, there are many statutes (i.e. Mary, or other saints). You may not 'worship' these things, but you certainly bow down to them (as done at weddings) and this is in direct opposition of the commandment. Also, there is no such thing as a rosary in the Bible. It is not there at all, however, it is in the catechism. The catechism itself is a direct violation of scripture as it is adding to the word of God. Read Revelation 22:18. The word of God stands alone, and does not need any additions added. These are just a couple of examples. All given in love. I will pray that everyone who watches this video will receive truth and hear from Jesus personally.
Jesus clearly said, the only commandements are: love God and love your neighbor as yourself. No virgin Mary, no rosary. Period.

Born again believiers are more judgmental than some. Can’t stand it. We should be reaching out to those who don’t believe in Jesus at all instead of arguing prayers. He probably meant that the Catholic belief is that the pope is the head of the church on earth. However, the Head of the Church is Jesus Christ. When He ascended to Heaven He didn’t leave a vacancy - He left us the Holy Spirit, who in turn leads us to faith in Christ. The organisation of Catholicism has always tried to usurp Christ’s place - and the ‘Christ’ they lead you to, requires umpteen sacrifices and masses, following a pope (a sinful man like any other) and ultimately, a fictitious place called Purgatory where you will supposedly be purified, but which, too late, you realise - is hell.

The people in the Catholic Church are imperfect people like all people are but one Sunday morning during mass I saw God come into the church, fill the entire church with HIS cloud spirit and look at all the people in the church with love and God just beamed with joy and was so proud ( the good kind of proud) at seeing all the people there. God looked at each person and even played with a two year old baby and the baby went wild with joy yelling and raising his arms to God. God then touched me and invited me to become a priest. The priest after mass talked with me about being a priest. Three people saw God in Church that morning, the priest , the baby and myself. God was in that Catholic Church that morning and liked what HE saw.
So many Protestants think the Catholic Church is not Christian. For 1500 years there was only the Catholic Church. Protestants are just Cafeteria Catholics and pick and choose what they want to partake. So, do they think that Catholics were taught wrong from Christ, right from the very beginning? You can be in any Denomination of Christianity and still not be practicing your faith from your HEART... it is true belief and love in Him, that is important, not just going thru the motions.

Did you test that spirit? We are told to test all spirits.
This spirit was God and this is beyond doubt. This spirit was love and the demonic can't give love. Since I was eighteen I have been seeing spirit beings at times. This after a visit at my house by first the Holy Spirit and then the Second Person of the Trinity. At that time God lifted my soul from my body , took me into the cosmos to visit with God and while doing so gave me Union with God especially God the Father. Google encyclopedia Britannica/union with God , to see what I mean. When I returned to earth and entered back into my body, God sent me to Catholic confession and entering into the confessional helped me make my confession. I have seen demons, been asked by them to join them and three times my life has been saved by God telling me what I must do to survive an attack on me by them. So, my experience with spirits is quite extensive. Only God is a very large Spirit Cloud that will fill a church or room. Demons are fallen angels and around three feet in diameter. Speech is mind to mind and so no doubt as to what I am talking to.

What an amazing conversion! I'm an ex catholic and I too was bor- again some 40yrs ago...couldn't believe the riches God had stored up for me when I came to faith in Jesus!!! Omgoodness! After my conversion my husband abd 3 girls all came to faith in Jesus as well and now serving the Lord..thank you Jesus you have saved my life, brought me pit of darkness into glorious light!

When I was born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit I left the Catholic Church. My parents were beyond upset. They said that I had became a “religious fanatic.” No, I finally had come to knowy the Lord Jesus and he saved me and set me free! It is extremely difficult to explain spiritual things to someone who has never experienced such a thing. Do not get mad. Do not give up. Pray for whoever it is that has rejected you faith in Christ Jesus. Pray for those who minds are blinded by the god of this world. Don’t give up. The word of God says that if we pray according to his will that he hears us and since we know that he hears us we know that we have the requests that we have made. It is not God’s will that any perish but that all come to the knowledge of the Son of God. Trust and obey.

There are plenty of priests who have grace and they practice in faith, but they are not the problem, the problem is the leadership and the founders of this church. You people need to study the history of Catholicism and Vatican, everything related to them, including all the evil doings of those priests, Knight templars, etc, and the relations between them and free masonry. They practice most of the things forbidden by the commandments of God Almighty. Don’t be deceived, brothers and sisters! You need to know all these things before arguing with anyone.

I was also born and raised in Catholic family but recently I have been doubting if confession to a priest is the right way to do it. I didn't find evidence in the Bible. Instead I found that we should confess our sins to God and we will be forgiven so why should we go to the priest to be forgiven again?

You don’t need any intermediary to get in contact with our Father in Heaven or Jesus Christ, it’s all between you and Him, that’s what personal relationship means. If a priest is involved during your conversation with Almighty or during confession, that’s not personal anymore. See, these religions don’t want you to have that, that’s why they create these barriers between you and our Heavenly Father. When I was confessing to a priest, I was never sincere in my confessions, I was too embarrassed to tell that man what sins I’ve done and what kind of things were really going through my mind, because some of them were too dark and nonsensical. But now I confess directly to God every single night before sleep and I leave nothing out, because He knows what I’ve done and what I think about anyways. Go to church If you want, pray, sing and all that, but if they practice or request things that are not Biblical, you better not practice those things. You can find plenty of information and dark stories about this religion right here on RUclips, just type key words like “the history of Vatican” or “the truth about Catholicism” or anything like that and you can go down the rabbit hole from there, you’ll find so much content that you wish you had time to watch them all. Please pray for me and my children prayers are all I NEED. I know Jesus is coming back soon! So it is vital to trust in Jesus even when we are going through a challenging situations. Jesus I trust in you even as I struggle providing for my children. Jesus hear my prayers. Since covid I fell on a terrible hardship. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m a single mom, my husband is with God. My children are autistic. I’m overwhelmed because I’m struggling to provide for my children. I’m now waitressing and I’m so thankful but not making nearly enough. Jesus hear my prayers. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets with my boys. Every month I have a hard time coming up with rent. I receive so much hate for simply asking for prayers! It’s discouraging and making me question my religion. My faith is getting weak. The devil wants me to give up but God won’t allow it. I have faith that God will provide he has this far. All things are possible through Jesus Christ Faith over fear! ❤

This man's testimony touched me deeply. He reminded me that Jesus saves and reaches people in many different ways. I already knew that, but God wanted me to be reminded of that again. Hello I am a devout man of God and His holy Catholic and apostolic church. There are many luke warm catholics in His church. It sounds like your father did not have the fullness of faith. We pray and talk directly to God as well. Additionally we do repetitive pray bc that is how Jesus commanded by saying the Our Father repetitively. NOT IN VEIN

I am not Catholic, but fellowship with many Christian brothers who are Catholics. We meet together in a parachurch ministry for men. I think Lukewarmness can exist in many denominations, and in non-denominational circles as well. Heaven will only have disciples of Jesus Christ, as far as I can tell from the Word. I personally object to the worldly labels - we all just need to give our lives 100% to Christ, and to cultivate a real relationship with the Father. I have felt his Holy Spirit in Catholic churches, Orthodox churches, Evangelical churches, and Charismatic churches. Jesus, and our relationship with him is the KEY.

Your dad was never lost, he was misguided. I prayer that you and your dad grow deeper together in Jesus, especially when coming to know the sacraments and the Blessed Sacrament, His actual body and blood. Come to know His mother, the Blessed Virgin, too. She is an intercessor to her Son. God bless you!

@@Lauren-vd4qe Go! your faith has healed you. The same chapter of Timothy from v12 talked about a woman keeping quiet in front of men, how many women pasters have you seen preaching in front of men? No matter how I can explain to you that we catholics we don't pray to Mary but to God, you will never understand. Mary was a choosen one from God through the angel Gabriel Luke 1: 26,28. If you can trust a paster to pray for you, if people can travel from one country to another just to meet a prophet, or a man of God to pray for them, what more a mother God the son JESUS, the king. Is she not a Queen? If the so called believers can go from one paster to onother, one prophet to another for a prayer and miracles, why do you dispise a Catholic Christian who goes to his h/her room and pray to God through the rosary, as you go to your prophet or paster to pray for you to God for healing? Is it not a belief that God can heal them through those men of God? Why then it is difficult for you people to understand that Mary mother of Jesus is more anointed than any other prophet? Jesus stayed in Mary's womb for 9month thereafter she took care of him until he started his ministry. She was there when he died on the cross. Mary can not be compared with any person here on earth, not even the disciples of Jesus, nor pasters or prophets. Remember she was chosen by God himself, she is favoured. Let me tell you, there are many Catholics who doesn't know how to pray the rosary. There are blessings in rosary. The goodness with many Catholics is that you will not see or hear them giving testimonies the way the so called born again do on public. If it is okay with you if someone hates your mother so much but values only you, then it is also fine for you to hate Mary and Love only Jesus. But for me I trust in Jesus and respect his mother so much that I find it very easy to ask for a help in prayers to Jesus her son.
God does not have a mother and Mary is not the mother of God nor is she really the mother of Jesus Christ. She served her role of giving birth and raising Jesus Christ into an adult. And also Mary lost her virginity to her husband so she isn't still a virgin. And also it's important to note that dead people such as Mary cannot intercede for those who are alive according to Ecclesiastes 9:5-6-
5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, because the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Their love, their hate, and their envy have already vanished, and they will never again have a share in all that is done under the sun.
