I'm proud that Sweden has produced so many vegan alternatives: oumph, Swedish glace, and Oatly 🇸🇪
Is that the ice cream ish? Love it. 👍
Oatly is Swedish? Thank you friends!
Tak Sverige❤️
Oatly is honestly the best thing in the world
Ellen Yup, I love living here having so many options to choose from 🥰🥰🥰
Tesco is killing it, they’ve got a new vegan range called Plant Chef. I love Tesco’s ad for vegan sausages with the little girl saying she doesn’t want to eat animals anymore, it’s got the farmers complaining, well done Tesco 👍
i da
That’s a good news, but why do people move on to vegan ‘sausage’? Sausage itself is disgusting begin with... it looks horrible and smells yucky and just nothing attractive about it. I don’t understand the hole point of vegan sausage. 👀👂🏼
You mean vegan fake meat
Sahn Song the point is for someone who is used to eating a sausage made of flesh, to be able to still enjoy a sausage that has no dead animals in it. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean other people don’t.
@@dreamworld6 I mean vegan is for ethics so if someone liked sausages beforehand I don't see anything wrong with having vegan sausages
@@jgat3418 nah I get to call it meat, you don't, you call it flesh cus that's what it is.
I keep getting mocked trying to change my lifestyle to vegan, but then I just think even if someone makes fun of me over it, at least I know i'm doing good for the animals
First they ignore you, then they make fun of you, then they arrest you... The reaction is generally anger at the guilt they feel.
@@urbanagoge7598 what?
you won't change anything by being vegan, in fact, you will do more bad than good.
@@wolfy4734 what are you talking about loooool
@@ParisRaffaela Trees that give birth to "food" hat you selfishly consume, are you just gonna ignore their existance? You disgust me.
I'm a meat eater, probably eat meat once a day on average, I do feel a sense of guilt, and I know my own ignorance keeps me eating meat, but after watching the documentary game changer on Netflix and videos such as this I know it makes every sense to go vegan... so I am going to go vegan as soon as I've found recipes I've cooked and liked, and figured out my nutritional intake. I'm looking forward to the journey
Do you know how much plants are being killed every year? So many childs taken away from their mother. Vegans disgust me.
We will still need livestock either way the planet goes
The easiest way is to replace animal products with vegan ones in your favourite meals
@@aleksandralempart8305 I'd rather eat meat that's natural than chemically saturated vegetarian overpriced bullshit that has been heavily marketed by companies to manipulate you into paying more for "healthier" food.
Wolfy The irony here is astounding
"Gotta have your vegan radar on"... Very accurate, I've developed a 6th Sense for sneaky animal products!!
My dad has been eating plant based since the start of this year yet he still doesnt read damn labels! He comes home with a Mi Goreng sauce that has shrimp in it, its even got a little bag of fucking shrimp stapled to the outside of the packet! So stoopid
Vedar
My father bought my plant-based mother a Hershey’s milk chocolate bar that says milk chocolate, meaning cows milk, right on the label. She is in it for the ethics now :-)
@@80slimshadys Yeah he's just spent most of his life not having to worry about it is his downfall I would say!
@@CJA32able love it!
I immensely value how you point out and vividly describe the utter horror, and then show the mere “one step” required to avoid it. Most activists just show the vegan options. Profound and important as always, Joey, keep it up!
yes i pick all my own rice from rice fields and i have a nut farm and i am perfect you are not. sit down doofus
its hilarious the way he describes our food, i've tried vegan food like the fake meat and such not a fan of it but real meat and dairy are great.
@@cattygirl6663 real meat and dairy is also very unssutainable and is pushing our planet to destruction but whatever man.
@@maiadraconica6488 theres simply too many humans on earth, thats why. now imagine if every single human was vegan, an incredible amount of land would be needed to feed us alot more than now but not only that the food waste would be off the charts. fruits and vegetables only stay fresh for so long before you have to throw them away.
@@cattygirl6663 we grow enough plant food to feed 12 billion people, but so much of it goes to feed farm animals that there isnt enough for everyone(cause meat dont come out of nowhere, theres like 17 pounds of feed for 1 pound of beef) we would literally reduce our required farm land by 75% if we just stopped animal agriculture. We wouldnt need nearly as much crops cause no factory farmed animals, and we would not need any land to house said animals, or feedlots and we wouldnt need grassland for those 10% of animals that graze (which is a massive amount of land)
Off to tescos now for my first vegan weekly shop! Spent a lot of time watching RUclips and listening to the facts of plant based diets. Look forward to a change! Hopefully forever! Really enjoying your content!

I work for tesco. I love all the new things that are coming in. We love that mayo..I talk to all my customers about the vegan options eve if they arent vegan lol
@Hi Hug many people want vegan options, this is obvious otherwise people wouldnt be making or buying them 😂 plus animal agriculture is the main contributor to climate change at 87% of man made gas emissions, so the more people that educate themselves and do their part actually make your life better and hopefully longer, everyone wants vegan options even if they dont know it .
@Hi Hug it sounds like whatever mentality you're living in is the nightmare.
@Hi Hug it wasn't hard 😂
@Hi kids if no one wants them THEN WHY ARE THERE FUCKING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE EATING IT
@Hi kids well said we should eat bugs
Some instant coffees actually do have milk in them so make sure to read the labels.
The fact that you walked around Tesco with a basket for however long and never actually put anything in it kills me :P Love it joey!

@Mark Anthony si, pero entiendo bastante bien el inglés.
Yes, but I understand english pretty well.
I work for Tesco and I'm finding it so hard to stay - people coming through with chicken legs, wings, breasts, bacon, pig legs, lamb, eggs, milk - multiple animal products in one basket - its so upsetting. It's really starting to get to me. Nice to see you highlighting all of the new options coming through supermarkets - just something to hang onto.
Work in a Jain supermarket, they have been vegan for 1000's of years
you ridiculous little snowflake.
What is amazing joey is that tesco is showing how easy it is “1step away to be cruelty free” x
Me when I was vegetarian seeing "happy eggs" : 😊
Me seeing it as a vegan : 😡
Imagine having a whole isle in Tesco that says “Vegan” 😍
It would be the isle I never go down as it's way too expensive for me I only go for Tesco's own made products as they are extremely cheap in comparison to everything else
No
Ew
@@bumblemax6108 Two years late, but you’ll find that Tesco has actually made a lot of products that are in their own range and are vegan. Brand products are more expensive in general, but there are options if you’d rather not eat from a brand name.
@@bumblemax6108 So all vegetable, fruit, isles, rice breads cereals legumes beans nuts, I could go on etc are expensive? murdered animals taste soooo good, ps how do you milk a soya bean? or oats?
I loved it how you put the vegan "fish" in the other section, a meat eater might accidentally buy it =D

Really good video this! Especially for non vegans I feel, so they can actually see what you’re buying/can buy and they can then identify the vegan products more easily because they’ll recognise them from this video. Thanks again Joey

Joey, this simple simple walk through the supermarket is VERY helpful, thank you
I wish all men were like you, Joey. Including/ especially my husband 😂
@Norman Normington You must have a wonderfully fulfilling life to comment this negativity on a strangers post. So, just to get your logic right... you think my husband is “too good for me” because he pays for innocent animals to needlessly be exploited and have their necks sliced into? Hmmm, I think you might want to rethink that one bud.
You mentioned the Marmite. Excellent source of B12 and brilliant as a sauce. Add some to lentils and veg with a bit of vegan cheese or some tomatoes.
Thank you for that. I'm sure tesco has changed since you made this video so going to give it ago today. I'm going to look for oat meal and frozen berries. Silly question here as a newbie but do you just put the berries on oatmeal and wait for them to melt or are they only meant for smoothies.

Love this but the “free from” sections are so expensive. Wish they’d consider our budgets a bit better.
