How many people can comfortably sit and eat? We are a family of 7, plus my in-laws eat with us frequently! I wonder if this would seat us all, or if I would need to design it larger?

The question is how does the grease trap work with the table there? I'm looking to do a wraparound with mine but more as a prep station and serving. would think the grease trap would look better hidden and away still be able to grab it and able to empty it as needed.
Thanks for the tips! I must've watched this video 20 times! 😂 we just put together our table. Can you tell me the height of your barstools? I just ordered the legs from Amazon, and it won't arrive until Monday. Thank you soooooo much!

This is honestly the best and easiest diy for the griddle. I’m gonna look to see if I can find the legs
Thanks for watching! The legs are 34” hairpin legs from Amazon for about $60
Such a great idea! Thanks for sharing!

Great work buddy!! i love it
Thanks for watching
Really nice. Very creative.
Thank you! Cheers!
I purchased the exact items and made the table. Little wobbly without the added wood. Did the added wood on top make it more sturdy?
I think the second layer of cedar made a huge difference in stiffness
@@stupid-clever thanks!
That is great ❤❤❤❤love it !
Thanks for watching!
I like it I’ve been looking to build somthing like that, I’m gonna make one thanks
Thanks for watching!
How tall are the legs and any chance you have the link? Great video thank you.

Great build, can I ask why you had it cut down from 4x8?
How many people can comfortably sit and eat? We are a family of 7, plus my in-laws eat with us frequently! I wonder if this would seat us all, or if I would need to design it larger?
I think this would max out at 4-5 people. You could easily design it larger.
What are the metal brackets called that you put on the table to keep it from catching fire?
They were fabricated from bar aluminum from home depot
I like it. Could you tell me about the ikea cabinet that fits so perfectly underneath?
It is a $59 LIXHULT ikea cabinet. They come in grey. I spray painted mine black.

How’s it holding up to the heat? I’d like to do this as a lightweight option since I’m on a second story deck.
As long as you keep a decent gap its fine. Good luck!
very nicely done sir...what time is dinner...
Any time!
Awesome video!
Do you have a link for the legs?

The grease trap works fine, but I do have to pull the table out a few inches to change the foil insert. Thanks for watching!
Awesome build ! Question - do guests feel the heat from the grill when sitting around the table?
No complaints so far! Thanks for watching
@@stupid-clever still?

What type of plywood did you use to keep it from warping outdoors?
I’m afraid I can’t remember. I do keep it covered year round, and this year it is going to need a re finish but otherwise still holding up
I would think it's treated plywood, 3/4"?

SMARTSTANDARD Hairpin Table Legs 34 Inch, 1/2'' 3 Solid Steel Rods, 900lbs Load Capacity, Mid-Century Style for Coffee Table, Side Table, Night Stand (Black, 4PCS)
How did you deal with the grease trap?
The table sits higher than the trap and there is enough clearance around the edge that it doesn’t get in the way.
Thanks for watching
Does the table wobble with just those 4 legs
Not really
You can also support the table with wood braces on the shelves of the grill for extra stability
Thanks for watching
I might have missed it but what size are the table legs ?
What are the metal trim strips you have around the inside of the edges around the grill?
It’s 2 inch aluminum flat bar from Home Depot
Thanks for watching!
Dimensions? This is awesome
It’s just a 4x8 sheet of plywood with the middle rectangle cut out for the grill
Thanks for watching!
