    Sounds like a rusted out dump truck, but it kinds of fits the car. I like the whole package.

    Them FE's have a distinctive sound, he needs to get rid of the ignition points and install a ignitor ignition from pertronix (very easy to install) that will help with the startups. Sounds good 👍

      Also a efi, just my opinion

      I did a Pertronix conversion on my 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 with a 273 V8. Had one unit die on me which is rare for Pertronix. Bought another and so far so good. From what I learned, any overvoltage can ruin the module.

      If a carburetor is adjusted properly it will start and run flawlessly. EFI is a stupid idea for a car like this.@@cyclonekevin6199

      @LongIslandMopars I paired my ignitor 2 with a msd coil and there msd 8.5 wires, worked great 👍

      @@928guy Cool. I bought the Pertronix flamethrower coil, bypassed the ballast resistor, but have stock wires. Just a little 273 2bbl in a crew cab Coronet. 😎

      We all know that, but he’s got young whippersnappers that work for him that I have no clue how to start a classic vehicle at all they use, or just crank on it way too much or they crank and pump the hell out of it which floods it

    If you study the 65/66 galaxie and the crown vic/grand marquis. their nearly identical chassis and where the gas tank it located. In a way the crown vic is a modern version of the galaxies.

      People aren't used to v-belts. That squeel was ubiquitous back in the day. Swapping out the belt isn't always what the problem is either more common than not it was misaligned accessory pulleys on the front of the engine.

      352 was early to mid 60s. Then I think 69 the 351 came out

      Ford FE's had the 352, 360, 390, 427, and 428. I'm currently working on my 360. Almost complete. That 352 sounds great!

    • @RipitRon
      @RipitRon 8 месяцев назад +3

      The 352 was late 50' and early 60's FE motor, it was nothing more than a small bore and stroke 390. It left a lot to be desired to say the least.

    Typical Ford FE, worst damn exhaust sound from any big block. Over the years I learned with these motors the ONLY thing that really makes them sound decent is an X Pipe with Borla XR-1 all the way at the back of the car.
