SANS Vs SMX [Undertale StickNodes Sans Fight Animation] (30+ Min Animated Special)

- Well, this is almost half a year's work of animation put into a movie. Provided that I had to study and go to school midway.
This animation is just one big Undertale reference. Then again, that was what my channel was back then.
Hopefully, I can get to 10k subs with this video. If not, welp, guess I'll die.
The movie is divided into timestamps, indicating which parts of the film are playing. Directories will be here.

STORY
Back in 2016, when Undertale was becoming mainstream, I was SUPER attached to Sans. This is what you would call a "Sans Fanboy". At the time, 11-12 year old me was still trying to make a mark on the animation community by making myself an icon, RHG, Original Character, OC? Whatever.
I just based him around sans. Literally, you can watch my old videos. Unfortunately he only appeared in one video, but the "Sans powers" kept going until YEARS later.
My Undertale addiction went so far that I decided to make my own AU (Alternate Universe, basically just a take on Undertale) but instead replacing the characters of Undertale with animators that I knew. Yes, it was absolutely terrible. I even made concept art and music. (It was called NodesTale FYI) I promised a video game, but young me could not dedicate that much time. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't. All content regarding it is not unlisted. I hope.
In any case, now that I've made my character, SMX, not totally sans, I just try to forget how god awful my creation was. Yet, people still remember him. Thus, this video where they can finally meet.
I originally planned to do this type of animation back when I had 2000 subscribers, but I just discarded the idea.
So, since everyone loves a good fight animation (IDK if this is considered "good"), here it is.

After 2 years, i am revisiting this masterpiece of an animation, and i must say, i am shocked once again by how high quality this piece is. I do feel nostalgia towards this video, since i had a 2~3 year break from the undertale fandom, and for me, that's a pretty long time. Absolutely remarkable work, SMX. I hope you're feeling well.

Sans is honestly one of my favorite characters in fiction. His lore, character, even his overpowered abilities are amazing.
Welp not as overpowered as chara/frisk they have the ability to reset and chara can destroy entire time lines.

Just want to point this out, apparently in the Nodestale universe, the Judgement Hall extends infinitely during battles and yet you can still see from one end to the other

I would recommend this video to any aspiring stick figure animators as an example of what a true god of animation is, there’s basically no repeat animations (Which I see way to many of with stick figure animations) there’s crisp animations and all of the attacks are amazingly drawn, like seriously the way SMX draws the blasters is amazing and I also think that way to many animators fail with drawing hand or they just straight up don’t make hands but you did great with it, I also LOVE the aura Node has (That’s what I’m calling him as it would get confusing if I just called him Sans) I also like the mix of story and fighting. I also think something that is insanely unnoticed is the sound effects and how you can actually here them in like your there with headphones, the music is also dynamic with the sound. AHHHHH I could just go on and on about everything! One more thing, I F**KING LOVE THE MUSIC.

So, just wanted to mention this.
He has two demons available to him in this fight, Kaibutsu and Jirimu.
Kaibutsu has his full arsenal, being super strength, energy beams, and blood manipulation, along with what seems to be an increase in the amount of blood SMX has in his body.
Jirimu can't use his energy blasts, but still has telekinesis, prediction, and immense knowledge.
*Jirimu is only shown being used to counter the Special Attack, with telekinesis.*
The opening character info screen said that Jirimu was nerfed for this.

This is genuinely one of the best stick nodes animations in terms of consistent animation quality and interesting storytelling I've seen in a very long time. You and Mei did an absolutely amazing job. The fact that its based on Undertale shouldn't be looked down upon, in fact, the opposite. Your idea of using an old oc and making it into a story that we could actually take seriously was absolutely brilliant. The execution was on point, and for the first time probably ever, I watched without constantly remembering that it's Stick Nodes and that it won't be as good as what I usually expect. I was actually engaged enough into the story that I cared about SMX Sans and his demise, and hell I hardly know much about your characters. I will remember this very fondly. You should be very proud. Some of the dialogue was quite on the nose, and could use some work (the 4th wall break joke was kinda funny, but ruined the immersion a bit), but that is a tiny nitpick. I subscribed now, and I'm looking forward to your future content good sir.

He uses another program that I do not know but it certainly isn't stick nodes so calling a animator better than the other is your opinion but it doesn't make sense why you would compare

This was beautiful. I really loved the story elements through out the animation and the fight choreography was stellar.
But the message that I deciphered from everything really touches home to me. How the past shapes the present just as much as it shapes your future. And while there may be some things we wish we could forget, in doing so we lose a part of us. So thank you very much for this amazing animation.

I can never express this enough
You can take any idea for an animation and execute so well that it rivals a masterpiece. Also, camerawork. I love it isnt fixated on one side angle and you use very well. The story itself was intriguing. This, in my personal opinion, is the best undertale animation that was made in stick nodes or pivot.

The fact you owned up to your past is something I really should learn from, that aside, this animation was incredible, I hope you put it in Streamlab's Creator event, or at least some other video that's 30 min.
I remember when he genuinely argued to defend SMX being as busted as he was, but instead of maintaining those beliefs he deleted the comments and actually tied it to his story, bravo to the guy honestly

This is very epic sans fight, the storys are so interesting especially on ending, its so very mystery of it and great job SMX and Mei, the angles are Great and atmospheric at one scene on Mei.
