I got my braces 2 weeks back and I have 2 questions for you
1. You mentioned, not to eat crunchy food as it sticks to your mouth..
Did you not floss your teeth or use proxa brush. I'm using proxa brush and I m finding it very helpful to get rid of food particles between my braces. I'll buy water flosser also soon.
2. Did you break any brackets? If yes, how did it break? And how often did you break?
Haven't had any bracket breaking issues till date also of course I use a proxa brush, however crunchy food doesn't only stick to the brackets it can also break your brackets or dislocate the wire hence as advised by my doctor I avoid it..
It’s my 2nd months and it’s completed I mean 2nd month but I don’t feel any difference in them 😢it’s the same they said it shall get aligned but it’s not yet aligned plus I don’t feel any pressure in my teeth🥲🥲🥲I got Damon braces
Alignment takes time... My treatment was supposed to be over by last December and i still have them so be patient
Hey! When were you able to start chewing food? It's been 7 days since I've got them for the first time and it's just impossible to even bring my teeth to a close, let alone churn and chew 🥲
After a month or two... Don't try to chew now it'll hurt.. Have semi solids for now 😅
@@DollyNair thanks for the reply! I tried chewing soft stuff from my molars or pre molars and it's some version of possible as of now. Hopefully it gets better!

Mam just opened braces after 5 weeks of mandible jaw fracture....now what I can eat
I've never had a fracture so wouldn't know but mostly semi solids should work like soups, khichdi, upma, daliya..
Yesterday i had my first sitting..my orthodontist changed my elastic and tightened my wire but iam not feeling that much pressure on it...is it going wrong? Or everything is ok
Haha everything is fine even for me for the first 3 months I didn't feel anything, after the 4th month when I got a thicker wire thats when it started hurting they want us to get used to it for the first few months hence they don't put too much pressure or thicker wires.

Its my first day and Mere ekdm right side wale teeth me jo last brace hai wo subah se chubh raha hai or bahut jyada uncomfortable hai and pain hora hai. Is it normal...
Pls check ki wire poke toh nahi kar rahi cheeks pe if yes then pls inform your doctor ans use dental wa in the meantime
