It's a Masterpiece. But it contains a lot of truth which people should know. Probably that's why it didn't get the Oscar while it was nominated for the Oscars.
It was hard for me to watch. I think they do the hard story in child-like animations on purpose

I love the small realistic clues right from the start of the movie when things should feel normal and relatively peaceful, like the dad having eyebags.
Wonderful movie. I frequently think about the "My name is Sulayman" scene and I watched it around 2 years ago I think. I’ll rewatch it soon with my family I think

Just bought the DVD, amazing movie. I love this studio's work and to see the culture of somewhere as beautiful (yet controversial) as Afghanistan is great.

Actually it's based on the Afghan movie "osma" from 2003. So it's older than mulan.

@@baharafghanzad_0093 Mulan animated movie came out in 1998 and the story existed for centuries before that in the Chinese folklore, but i think this movie has almost nothing in common with Mulan anyway.

11/4/21 It’s going to go down as one of our greatest defeats. I first watched the movie three years ago, before the withdrawal, but now I know that the Taliban have taken over, I can’t imagine much good will come.
