Lovin the build! So jealous too, I got those low speed vibrations after my lift and it’s annoying. Keep up the great work also looking forward to seeing you back on the dirt bike.
Love to hear you taught your daughters!! My dad has always been supportive of my endless wrenching. He has all the tools and would lend a hand when I needed.
The "driveline" consists of the engine, transmission, t-case, driveshaft (s), differential(s) and wheels. What you are referring to as the driveline is just one component, a driveshaft.
The 2 piece actually works phenomenally well on a stock truck, which is how Toyota caters their engineering. They know people modify them but more people leave them as is. "Don't fix what ain't broke". The 2 piece has worked for decades. Once you start lifting the truck and RPMs change is when the solid piece starts making more sense.
Two piece gives better ground clearance and higher critical speed. A single driveshaft has their drawbacks. A two piece piece is better overall for daily street driving.

Anyone else out there have this upgrade?? Was it worth it?
I have the same vehicle, and always considered this. What does this retail for?

You bring me laughter and love seening you doing hands on. Keep them coming..
What gears do you have? Are you concerned about critical rotation speed?
Hello
Did this get rife of your driveline vibration?

Much appreciated!
Love your wordplay in the thumbnail. 😂
I love to see a woman who ain't afraid to turn a wrench. I taught my daughter also.

Yeah it sucks though cause they no longer make them the rear driveshaft was discontinued
I wonder why a 2 piece was stock?

A two piece will have a higher terminal speed too. How fast you can drive with a one piece partially depends on your tire size

You gained reliability as you have eliminated extra universal joints and the carrier bearing.
