Why Halo NEEDS a TV show!

- This week I wanna talk about Halo and how it needs a TV show to keep fans interested and to try get new fans on board. Suffice to say there's a lot of stuff up in the air with regard to Halo the last number of years, and considering 343 have been running Halo just as long if not longer than Bungie then it kinda makes me concerned that they don't know what they're doing.

Awesome to see new fans. Unfortunate you chose a rough time to join while the series is kinda tanking. I would've liked to see a TV show faithfully adapt the the OG trilogy, because the story is so rich and captivating. Especially when you get in to the deeper lore and Bungies plan for the forerunners
Yeah I'm very late to the series, one benefit is I was able to run through the games one after another and there's a lot of novels/audiobooks there to take in.
I think they do need to do something different like a really good series to get some interest back in Halo, cause there doesn't seem to be any universally liked game since Halo:Reach

I still remember when it came out, closest thing we had to a proper halo show.
There’s also already an animated series.halo legends which is a terribly cringe anime, but has a couple good episodes.
I find it hilarious that you’re brand new to the series, only really played 2, and still saw right through the show as well 💀

I've heard about Halo Legends but never checked it out, but I do think an ongoing animated series for Halo would have a good effect for the fans and for the series as a whole!

I think it does, an actual faithful adaption of either the books or the games.
We've seen stuff like Cyberpunk Edgerunners and The Witcher help drive sales of the games, I think Halo needs a good TV show in order to get some interest back in the series
@SackyIRE do you even know where this franchise is at rn because if you did, you would know it's struggling BAD, and it does not have the time or resources for another show when it's main storyline games need to be fixed because halo infinite was a development disaster
I agree that 343 need to sort out what they're doing and Microsoft's hiring policy doesn't help at all but it's completely different resources needed to make a game compared to a TV series. Other studios have managed it for game adaptations, but 343 do need to actually get organized and properly staffed first
343i will find a way to fumble the bag. I have no faith in it. This franchise is cooked.
343 have definitely been unreliable, I think they have done some interesting stuff but they've never really stuck the landing with some of it and their staffing issues are all over the place. I hope they can get it back on track
The halo show I would love is the ones from the games and the books not the terrible show they did to have Master Chief always shows his face and other things he did that's not his character
100% that's what I'd like to see too! I think a good series would unify fans and get new fans onboard
Halo doesn't need a tv show they tried that but it failed spectactualy for soo many reasons

That's why I said in the video I think they need a faithful animated series, far less cost than the now cancelled series and gives a lot more freedom to give the Halo universe the scale it deserves
This is a bad attitude to have because it just means we continually let morons ruin adaptations our favourite games/books and thus bar them from having good shows made for the rest of time. Get rid of the people involved, get in people who actually care, and make a show.

It does not, have a tv show. There is a show using the same name and characters. That is it.
