Restricting the mind to a particular thought, the mind will develop a resistance to that thought, and the thought will dominate the mind not to appear, and will start appearing more and more. On the contrary if the thoughts instead of restricted, are redirected then because of non resistance, it will start concentrating on the thought, making a successful meditation. We should practice meditation, think about Him, His leelas and His past times . This is the only way to calm down the mind and can get inner peace.

We can achieve our best goal by making the mind understand with love and directing it to the right path. If we are stubborn with the mind, if we try to kill it, then it will only bring misfortune to us.
