    Hi there, do you ever do anything for your worms with all those leaves I see in the background? Here on Vancouver Island, shredded leaves and leaf mold are two main bedding types I feed my worms.

      Yes ma’am I do, I use them to make the compost for bedding during the summer. I also shred them up and use as the main substrate for my ENC bedding.

    Do u add lime or eggshells or oyster shell for breeder bins esp with peat?

    • @nusoilwormfarm7980
      @nusoilwormfarm7980  9 месяцев назад

      I would add lime, it will bring down the ph in the peat. If you’re looking to add calcium to your bedding all three will do that sufficiently.

      No ma’am I took them off due to it not selling well, I was spending more in shipping than what I was getting for the blocks. Email me your address and I will hook you up with some.

      It is a proprietary blend of minerals,protein and fungi to make my casting the best they can be!🪱🪱 I appreciate your feedback

    Why would you take the time to make a video showing how you make your breeder bedding, and then keep the most important ingredient a secret.

    • @nusoilwormfarm7980
      @nusoilwormfarm7980  9 месяцев назад

      For the same reason people pay to go to a magic shows not knowing how the illusion works!!!
      Everything I showed was to make a great bedding for the worms, as I said the ingredients “the red cup mix” are proprietary,it is not for helping with breeding its 100% to make the castings the best they can be.
