i got it just 2 days ago for 30. i absolutely loved the 3ds one but i always missed that i couldnt have more than one save file and i didnt want to delete my over 300 hour file, so 30 bucks for the switch one seemed perfect. but yes, the pricetag from the time it came out was definitely too high
As an OG Miitopia player, I'd say that Miitopia on 3DS is definitely more nostalgic while it seems like you need more skill to play. With more skill comes more fun when you succeed in it. For instance whenever your playing Miitopia on switch, you feel pretty annoyed when the horse decides to help you out. At first when you unlock the horse, its really cute and cool but as you progress through the game, the horse kind just gets in the way. On the 3DS, you have to pay a lot more attention which honestly made it more fun, also when ever you played, there wasnt that much fast forwarding which meant that you got to enjoy the full experience. Like you said there is a big difference between the two games in terms of quality, but honestly I cant even notice it, Im having too much fun when I play it on my 3DS. I appreciate this video because it shows the differences between the two. Thanks for making this vid.
I was just playing the switch demo yesterday. I also got 3ds version when it first came out and I do kinda want to buy it again because of all the features the switch has while 3ds didn’t. Plus I also need a reason to play the game again because it’s one of my favorite game ever
It also has the horse, opening up new opportunities for attacks, and the Tower of Despair (featuring 8 new bosses that are tougher than the ones fought in the Tower of Dread)
Love this game, have 5 files going so far. My OC Murphy Creations file, Tales Of Symphonia file, Fire Emblem file, Valkyrie Crusade file and Amiibo file.
Miitopia was definitely not one of the last 1st party 3ds games. Nintendo released over 20 more games in the next 3 years after the release of miitopia.
i remembered there being a lot more towns and you losing your powers and having to redo them on the 3ds before you go to the dark tower. is that not on the switch or am i just not far enough in the game?

wigs and makeup is not worth 60 dollars if you alr have it on 3ds

then like dont have the horse on your party and dont use the fast forward feature. both of your complaints are optional.

I never had the full version on 3ds. Only the demo and casting call
But on switch, I received the full version for Christmas 2021. My favorite thing about this game is the horse.
