I'd also strongly recommend Dolls and A Scene at the Sea as his best romantic departures, and Violent Cop and Outrage as two other genre greats. I’ve always described Kiss Me Deadly as a punch to the gut and a left hook to the jaw of the Eisenhower 1950s. So subversive for the era and it starts from the beginning including the backward title sequence.
You think this movie had an influence on David Lynch. Good video I disagree that a two shot isn’t visual it’s alot more interesting then an over the shoulder shot witch is standard
Couldn't you at least say "Imagine going to the pictures with your ma and your fella (or gal)?"... I mean really... Why is it necessary to instigate? That aside... you did an excellent job of summing up 'Kiss Me Deadly' in a short five minute video.
