I love how the game intended for us to show up at tournaments to buy products and play without knowing how to play. My lgs didn't even have a demo vid.
As you probably can tell by my Twitter, I am very much enjoying this game! For sure, the starter decks feel like solitaire. They are not great decks at all. Only there to really teach you basics.
Yeah it’s a little weird in that regard. And respectable for sure, I wanted to skip this event but I did it for the meme and the game turned out to be really good what can I say

"Extremely well designed"? It has absolutely no innovative mechanics and is as bland and vanilla as they come.
Well designed game means that the mechanics of the game were very thought out and executed. If you want a complex game play Magic, this isn’t that.
