I knew about your shop but didn't know you had a youtube channel. Great stuff. I make it up there about twice a year and I waste a bunch of time trying to figure out where to go. These videos are super helpful! Thanks

Digging your videos, on retro. It's cool to see the guys complete about stuff that I actually used to ride. When we used to have triples, we would use the big ring as a pivot point to clear large logs. Do a video on the new section of middle black. Haven't been to Pisgah in a few years. But that trail may bring me back.

More people should practice the gut feeling of not feeling it, just because you have done it 100 times doesn't mean you have to do it every time.

Great videos! Would it be possible to have a small video within the video kind of showing on a map like MTB project of where you are in the video? I try to get out to that area a few times a year so I'm still learning these trails. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I just reread my comment. I should have used the word "video" a few more times. 😄

Gonna shuttle this next sunday, I'm missing part of my right lung, and still recovering from covid, not sure I can do the 7 mile climb up Avery Creek Road.

    •  3 года назад

Ope. Just checked, I now realize you don't have to climb all the Avery Creek Road, looks like a 3 mile-ish climb, I can do that!

With your channel name, I assumed you'd be on a stiff squatch.

Just rode this trail. It was awful. One of the worst trails I've ridden anywhere in country. Unquestionably the worst climb I've experienced. But the AC surface is just nasty the entire way. I just rode Sedona for a month in March and I swear I didn't experience such rough trail there. I was hoping it would be different - but I would definitely NOT recommend either that climb or Avery.

To each there own. I dream about riding this trail (and some of the other trails in the Pisgah area). The road climb is what it is, and Club Gap is very challenging. All of that said, my preference gravitates towards the rougher terrain. I'm curious, have you ridden other trails in Pisgah? Are there others you liked?

Yeah preferences differ that's all this is. Give me a fire road climb all day, hate climbing techy singletrack
