If you haven’t been to this area yet, GO! I tend to stay in Hendersonville, but that’s a very short drive from Brevard and just tends to have more options to stay that work for me. You got EVERYTHING you could want within a 30 minute drive.

Come there every year from TN for an epic week of MTB’ing with friends. Makes me sad in so many ways to not come this year.

I prefer the north east during this time. The Catskills, Vermont, New Hampshire, etc

I was up there last Saturday and had a great time then took 276 over Caesars Head the mountains always make me feel at home

For a video absolutely what can we do to help in the area via volunteering (giving money is obvious).

Glad to know the town’s open - but are hiking/biking trails open? Waterfalls? Are the trails up around the waterfalls open? How about COE campground? I super happy about the town’s businesses being ok, but want to make sure the recreation is 100%.

We visited Brevard in early October, very nice. We were able to avoid much of the damage from Helene. Did see a Chinook land at a soccer field near the hospital, WOW! Will visit again!

Will be there in November! Discovered Davidson River Campground a few years ago and it is now an annual trip to ride the trails. I am a Tennessean but I love this little town and the surrounding area! Look forward to seeing it again!
