Nice video. Beautiful to see Sassolungo right in front. I love both skiing and motorbiking there. Just need an a little Alpine 110S to do it on 4 wheels. 😆
Nice review. I do suggest you drive in Track mode whenever you are driving on winding roads. It brings a more interactive level of enjoyment & playfulness.
Great review with subtle descriptions of how it drives. Loved it! Much of what you said about the ride quality and handling reminded me of the reviews of Suzuki Swift Sport Mk2 (ZC32S) I have been watching prior to buying one recently from a German garage. Still waiting for the car to be imported, though. Would it be possible for you to do a review of the Suzuki sometime in the future and maybe compare it to your 205 GTi? This might make for a great video and your thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks! I would love to try the suzuki swift sport too. I was at a track day event yesterday and saw one there. There are very rare in Thailand, but if I get tue chance I would love to try one.
Great! Really hope you get the chance as there are no direct comparisons to the 205 on the web. I was initially thinking of buying a 205 or a 309 GTi but then found out about the SSS Mk2 and was immediately attracted to it supposedly being a more modern, safer, and incredibly reliable version of the classic 80' hatches. And it's also the last naturally aspirated of the bunch.
I thought the same until I bought an a110s. Now I think differently almost as if that little car rewired my brain! I wouldn't want it in a manual now even if it existed.
I know you talked about people overdoing with mods but if you were to turn this car into a track car for lap times, what do you think the potential would be? I'm in Taiwan and the fastest cars on track here are the GR Yaris (lightly modded) even over the GT4RS due to its weight/grip and the fact that the track is mostly low/mid speed corners with a couple longer straights. Not US style huge tracks. If you put coilovers + tune + tires on the A110 do you think it'd be FAST? Or just quick.
Do you know if the car was spec'd with the active sports exhaust? I missed the pops and bangs with the downshift - but wait actually i didn't miss them and think it's even better without the artificial pops and bangs. 🎉
I asked myself the same question ! Maybe it has some some pop and bangs tooo .. but without "Classic" artificial sound from speakers with modern A110 ?
Actually in my original cut I complained about the pops and bangs quite a bit. But decided to cut it out because didnt want to have too much negativity in the video. Sorry I dont know how the car was specced I simply rented it

I can confirm! Feels more visceral in track mode as gear changes give you a nice little kick in the back
Just bought one and I couldn't agree more! Great review. Liked and subed.
Picked up my 2nd A110s couple of weeks ago - did 32k in 1st one - u won't regret buying one
@eddibinder why did you get a second one? What happened to the first one?
@@FizzyMotorsprobably just wanted a newer one, from a build year perspective.
Well done with your video I’ve watched many and yours added a new dimension.
3:52 on the right !!! 😅 happy to see you in my countries .. always a pleasure. We need more content !
Loll yea I wasnt sure if that was a roundabout or not

Such a beautiful country. Looks like a driver's paradise.

New to the channel. Like the way you talk 👍🏻
It would be nice to see Transfăgărășan in Romania, anyway, a great video.
Next time!
Where did you rent the car from ?
Carvia
who did you hire the car through out of curiosity?
Carvia
17:27 people like that don’t exist man pfftt
I was thinking of u
@ my mods are mild ok really mild stuff nth fancy
Ramming it in 1st gear whilst moving . Jeez man ! . 1st gear is for a stationary vehicle .
Uhh no
without a manual, it cannot. automatics in real driver's cars are an absolute no go.
