I love your videos and your super friendly-funny personality! You make it so fun! =) Thank you and keep updating! I would even suggest a premium team hub or a forum creation where we can post our challenges with this new conversion process.
Thank you so much for the awesome and kind feedback.. I have a new tutorial launching next week (had a nightmare fist fight with Premier Pro this week where the score was Premier Pro 10 v Alternate Pro 0.. we have resolved our issues and have agreed that reinstalling everything was not needed and instead I should just not use ONE transition grrrr.. anyway thanks again for the feedback and a patreon page is in the works with community, one to ones and more.. cheers cheers
Thanks Cameron.. Quick question were you able to watch the whole video.. busy troubleshooting as I can only see 10min of the video and want to check if this is just me or if I need to raise a ticket to get this restored.
Another great video! I would like it if, at some point, you'd make a tutorial on how to map the meta fields converted with the JSON file, to the native ones in Shopify, so that you don't have to go to edit metafields every time. Also, there are some apps that let you bulk edit meta fields, so that's another reason it would be helpful 💪🏼
To be honest I am not a 100% sure what functionality gets dropped in the free plan.. think of the free plan as a trial that has watermarks and reduced functionality. The full plans are worth it and are a fraction of the cost of other page builders.
Is it technically possible to create a shopify template with Webflow that is as customizable and usable as a regular shopify theme from the theme store? If so, are there already any templates out there? Thank you for your content, appreciate that.
Great video mate, much appreciated. Have you had any problems with integrating shopify apps to the theme or is it all good? For some reason I am thinking apps won't be able to recognise the code but I am guessing it just functions like a normal shopify theme right?
Yep some apps you may need to punch into place a bit but the core liquid code that is outputted via the udesly process means apps are pretty straightforward to implement. If you watch my Shopify filter video you will see that it's pretty easy.. if you have issues let me know.
you're gonna have to hack the fuck outta your theme to even get a useable filter system. It's fine once you know how things work but good luck handing this off to a client.
Hi I have tried this multiple times but my navigation titles aren't showing as they should. I am getting the formatting so that's good but the titles show up as {{ SECTION.SETTINGS.NAV_H_1 }} and so on. Do you have any idea what this could be?
Hi mate, so with udesly can I design seperate components like you did and mix and match with an existing shopify theme? Or is it better to just create the whole theme in webflow then move it to shopify using udesly? Great content already subbed !!
Best to start with a whole new theme in webflow.. if you were to try and do a hybrid you would need to pull over the webflow JS and CSS files to get the interactions and styling to work.. but I am sure there would be a huge number of ahhhh SH!# moments so I would avoid this workflow as it's most likely going to end with a broken screen (cause you punched it in a fit of rage).. design in webflow convert and then tweak in Shopify if you need to.
Can you make the same tutorial but for WordPress? I need to convert website from Webflow to WP and I need to put WPML widget in header and I'm not shur is that possible. Thanks.
Sure thing.. the widget thing is a nice addition to the tutorial as well.. can you ping over a few details on what you want to implement and I will try bake it in.
@@AlternatePro I have a website that was made in Webflow but it must be multilingual and must be converted to Wordpress. The question is, when I do conversion with Udesly, how can I put language switcher in the header? Let's say WPML or Polylang?
Cool that sounds like a great tutorial.. I will begin looking into it next week and once I have found the easiest way to do this I will do the tutorial.
It’s a minor detail and it’s purely for speed optimisation. Because keeping the Webflow icons you are referencing their server instead of delivering the themes content via the Shopify CDN.
Yep agreed I have taken that feedback onboard and I am also focusing on shortening them down massively and improving the sound quality. Thanks for the feedback.

@@camconrad yep same here.. have put in a request to RUclips to resolve.. thanks for letting me know.
Video restored. Very odd

@@AlternatePro Can't wait 🔥
Hi there.. just to let you know I am going to film and release this tutorial next week.
@@AlternatePro Awesome, thanks a lot 💪🏻
Hi there the Metafield tutorial is now live.. hope it helps
Thanks for the tutorial! Is there a workaround for nested mega menu? More than 1 level of nesting?
Hi there. yes but unfortunately it comes down to how comfortable you are with custom code.
If thats a no-go then you could use a mega menu app.
@@AlternatePro will the custom code has to be in Webflow or Shopify liquid?
I applauded ur welcome
Love your videos! I am having a problem; the nav bar is suddenly repeating itself and I can't figure out why. Is this something you've encountered?
Thanks can you flick me a link to hello@alternate.pro so I can take a look..
same thing is happening to me - did you find a solution?
