- I planted 32 Red Yucca Seeds, also known as Hesperaloe parviflora, in Rootmaker pots. I planted these Red Yucca seeds that I collected last fall and simply stored in a Ziplock bag at room temperature over the winter.

How long would it take to sprout if I didn’t germinate it?
I googled Red Yucca see it in someone's landscape. Nice color interest with the red stalks going up.
yes, they are very popular here in the Dallas area.
How long till the seeds germinated?
Probably a few weeks at the most, they takes a while to get big enough to transplant though
Why do you plant them in the smaller container first?
Plants grow better if you move them up in increments, let the roots fill a smaller pot, then move them up to the next size, when they fill that pot, move them up again.
What type of dirt do you use for your seeds and your pots?
I have two soil mixes, one for seeds and cuttings and one to uppot to larger containers, go to my channel and you will find videos for both!
Can red yuccas the size you have survive the winter outside in 1 gallon pots? I live in West Texas, so it gets just a little bit colder than in dfw. What do you plan to do with those over the winter?
I had some before this size and we had an extreme winter, single digits for several days, lost most of them. To be safe at this size i will keep them in the greenhouse over winter
They are no very big but they look healthy
They will take off after being put in fresh soil
