i love how there's this sort of idea that electronic music is uneducated (which it can be), but people like haywyre can disprove that! I'm an amateur trombone player and have jazz lessons at college. What i love about haywyre is that when he improvises, you can tell he's using specific modes and scales to improvise round, and it's not random!
It shows you it's not random finger wiggling, but educated improvising

The coolest part is how this is actually a very steady track with only one glitchy part. You could say that the music went haywyre during that part; really living up to the name.
It's 2017. I joined the Monstercat family in 2015, so it took me a while to hear all the music that had been releaseed, but when I found Doppelgänger, I instantly fell in love with Haywyre and all his music
No matter what happens, 2014 was 7 years, and 2012 was 10 ago... Insane to think how time passes so quickly.
Haywyre has quickly become one of my favourites.

HAYWYRES MUSIC ALWAYS FEELS SO GOOD
I've been on Monstercat for almost two years now, and I've figured out that this is by far the best song (melodically, percussively, and overall) that I have EVER heard on the channel. The chord progressions, the small switches that give the natural swing feel to the song...
This is the closest example of synthetic sound and real instrument sound coming together in harmony that I think I've... EVER found in any song I've heard. Honestly I listen to it to close my days, almost every day.

Glitch hop is a mix of jazz and funky sounds with some synth but not to much some are fast pace some are slow this one is in the middle also glitch wouldn't be glitch hop if it didn't have its 110 bpm if u don't know what bpm is it is beats per minute so u can give electro song a hard bass drop but it won't be dubstep unless it has a bpm of 140 ish
Glitch hop doesnt have to be neccesarily Jazz-like or funky -> give a listen to Stonebank or Tut Tut Child, thats definetly not Jazz nor Funky. The reason for haywyre to make music like this is because he studied Jazz in germany but you can read more about it on his youtube channel Martin Vogt
