Yes I ordered 2 from Amazon and yes it works great!!!!!! ( especially on a smart TV) I’m so happy. Finally no more cable for 205 a month!!!! Thank you - you were a lot of help.
I bought one over a year ago and it's works very well. The channels are in HD. The catch is the placement of the antenna. I placed the antenna very high up and the reception is great.
I just purchased this antenna at my Dollar General Store and installed it on my TV and now I can watch 4 channels real clear. The TV tower is approx. 15 miles away from my home town.
My question - are you happy with the 4 channels or disappointed? I got about 8...some duplicate and some not always clear. That being said since I didnt have any before the antenna - I'm pretty happy.
@@Jeffreviews4u I am happy. It's better than nothing. I live too far away from my local stations. There are also some live TV which comes out on youtube.
My mother picked this antenna up for around $5 and it works just as good as a $20 onn antenna. I get exactly the same number of channels in fact with the clear tv antenna I get literally no pixelation. Definitely happy with the clear tv.
This antenna gets me about 6 Premium Channels(abc, nbc, cbs, univision, fox) with 5 bars and 5 others unreliable. Totally worth it. Good and honest review.
I bought an antenna for $5 at the Five and Below store. I got between 20-25 channels. I do have to move the antenna some, but over all it was well worth $5. I live about 35-40 from two major cities.
Smart choice Jeff for a review but for TV its so so. It didn't pick up many channels for me I found it to be reliable for the few channels I could get. Great review.
I got 60 channels. I bought it cause my cable went out. It was worth the price. Now I can still watch tv if my cable is out again! However, some of the channels were duplicates. I’d say all together I got about 45 distinct channels. I live on a hill in Spokane Wa, and most of the tv towers are within 10 miles.

I had a few crappy antennas before. Bunny Ear Antennas suck but they pick up VHF channels. In my area there’s one big channel I miss out on with a flat panel antenna and that’s 6abc WPVI. Bunny ear antennas have to be positioned just right. I just recently bought an Antop Antenna with VHF enhancement rods that picks up vhf/uhf that works perfectly and not annoying like bunny ear antennas.
Hi yes I have used the clear TV Black box it is an amplified antenna and I get about 33 channels so far with it . I have to have an amplifier where I live because there's trees in the way all over the place near my apartment where I'm currently living so the trees like the block out the signal so an amplifier is what I need to have. If it works like that flat one I got 55 channels on my tv! I just bought one of these for my elderly mom because I couldn’t find my flat ones! I’m about to go hook it up now and I’ll be back with my honest review!
You get what you pay for. I purchased it after a recommendation by a friend but I was not happy with it but then if you get even 5 channels for $10 it’s still not bad. I got 20... all blurry and fuzzy. I finally recieved my new mohu curve 50 antenna for like $65.00 and I ended up getting 59 channels all in HD quality. Now that is when you actually want to cut the cable. $10 to $65 is a big jump but then you really pay once and then cut the cable.
Jeff reviews4u: I got all the channels that Mohu Curve packaging box claims. They have these channel logos on the box. I got all of them. The basic local popular ones. I also got 5 music channels too and surprisingly it detected whole bunch of channels from New Jersey even though I live in New York. The funny thing is I got few movie channels that I did not expect ... not to mention it is for the basement TV. The antenna is placed underground. I don’t know if it is the antenna or the location but it’s worth it for me at least. I would say out of 59 channels it detected, I would trash 12 channels that are in other languages but the rest is enjoyable as you flip through them like a cable TV. I also like the design of the device, it blends in with my white furniture. The antenna runs through wall-power or USB. A good day to install, lot of Saturday movies today. I'm not convinced by the "4K" capabilities that were noted on the package (Though you didn't mention "4k", I saw it), as no TV stations broadcast 4K OTA signals yet. I didn't purchase it, but the size of it really makes me question its VHF frequency capabilities, as VHF signals require a longer rod. I recommend the Onn Easy Adjust Antenna. I pull in 30 stations from 20-50 miles away from South Central Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee. It’s $8.99 at Walmart.
Also, take a paperclip and bend it straight out. Wrap aluminum foil on the end to increase the length. I pull 10 channels with it on another T.V. I would like to know how much has the reception changed in your area after the analog shutdown I'm pretty sure it would have been better but if you live in deep rural area the signal wouldn't be that much better but still an improvement... Of course no HD
That is an I interesting notion. Before the switch I didn't try any of these antennas. I had satellite at that time. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
No but I've been thinking of buying one since of a small did you just hook it on an old Sony Walkman and plug it in the port so I can watch actual TV on it
I use the RCA 4K antenna. I get between 45-60 channels. I loved it so much I had to purchase an additional for my bedroom. You can also download the RCA app that shows you where to place the antenna for better picture quality and more channels.
That one sounds like an earlier version of the clear tv. I do need to move mine around to get the best signal. Thanks for sharing your experience and commenting.
My neighbor bought one of these and she couldn't get any channels on it. She also tried the TV Freeway and got the same results. I have a Winegard Freevision in my attic and get around 30 channels last time I checked.
I can get 21 channels (75 total subchannels) with an old cheap rca ant111 that looks like the old rabbit ear antennas with the long vhf parts and circular uhf part. But I have to stick at least one rabbit ear out the window to get ny channel 11 which is still vhf. Reception is always going to be better outside with bigger antennas. You only need an amp with long cables. I learned a lot from Antenna Man on RUclips. I've heard him recommend the clearstream2max which has the long vhf elements for indoors, but outdoors is always better. And an rg6 quad shield cable.
@@Jeffreviews4u Gotcha! It would've been great if you let your viewers know, why you couldn't show them the quality of the transmission (just my opinion). Other than that, great video!
A lot of these antenna work it has a lot to do with placement the closer you put it to the window the more channels and cleaner picture. I have one that's just a flat piece of plastic I gave$12 for it and I get 34 channels and sometimes the picture starts going in and out all I have to do is move the antenna just a little and it clears up but I do live in a major city (Nashville TN so I'm sure that helps
I got 10 channels it says, all digital, but I can only watch 7 of them & some are pixelated so bad you can’t watch them, but I did order an antenna from an infomercial a few days ago

@@Jeffreviews4u yeah, I just bought this today from Dollar General up the road, was curious, my cable don’t work while running off generator for some reason, during power outage, like your channel
What I get from the commercial is that it is NOT a replacement for cable. You will only get NETWORK channels in 4k. Thats it. Commercials are misleading as hell
Absolutely, this is not a replacement for cable. I got a handful of channels, I have heard some get 40 or more. This all depends on your location. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
My clear tv antenna is different, it like square shaped and it can attach to your window, I live not to far from a big major city . I get 82 channels, some channels just voice.
I bet if you found a good old fashioned bunny ears at a yard sale they would do better than both of those. Sounds like you hadn't done a channel scan in a while and ion added some extra sub-channels. Remember with the digital transition brought abstraction layers.
The problem is not how many channels you receive in your particular area, but quality of the picture. Pixilation, that what kills the viewing experience. Good picture, pixilation, drop in sound, good picture, pixilation, drop in sound routine. Sound familiar? We break away from Cable TV, but then we run into this... Comment please if you in New York City area and actually have this product and your experience with it. Thanks.
I use a generic rabbit ear antenna. I get about 15 channels. 3 Local news channels, a bunch of religion channels and 3 PBS channels. Sadly, most days at least 1/2 of those channels aren’t clear. HD look but jumpy/freeze/skip picture and sound, even during perfect weather.
This little antenna would probably yield the same results. if you do end up trying it out let me know what you think. thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Wow im pretty shocked you get so little TV channels I didnt know your location affected the amount of channels you got. I mean I knew the channel numbers were different etc, but yikes only 14 channels?! I use an antenna and I live in a big city and I think i get around 40 channels or so. And the TV downstairs got closer to 50 if I remember correctly. Also you have a very nice voice lol.
@@entertainmentvidz you typically will only get abc, NBC, CBS, CW, and fox just to name a few. This will not pick up channels that are specific to cable.
I just purchased one two days ago. Here is a trick I learned. When I first connected the antenna and did the search I got my normal 24 to 25 channels but much clearer. I went into my TV settings and reset my system i now get 37. I live in Baltimore city and can now pull in DC
I've had others mention that. I erred on the side of caution when it comes to YTs copyright rules. That being said it definitely was not HD quality and I have to move the antenna around to get certain channels. I will say the picture on the channels that came in were pretty clear. Hope this helps.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
got 4 of them at dollar general in AZ middle of no where and get 28 channels depending in the weather I loose a few
That's awesome. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks for the tip, I'll have to look into the RCA 4K antenna. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
hi, I use the flat square antenna 20.00 from walmart, get 20 chanels in south Florida. but mostly choppy, very frustrating
That one sounds like an earlier version of the clear tv. I do need to move mine around to get the best signal. Thanks for sharing your experience and commenting.
👍Thank you. 💝
you are most welcome! thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Cable TV... Antenna cool.. You are cool dude
Thanks for checking it out and commenting.
I think this video would've been great if you actually showed us the television stations.
I totally get that, RUclips has this huge copyright rule we are not supposed to show anyone else copyrighted material
@@Jeffreviews4u Gotcha! It would've been great if you let your viewers know, why you couldn't show them the quality of the transmission (just my opinion). Other than that, great video!
HOW DO YOU GET THAT TO WORK ON A REGULAR STANDARD TV
The TV has to have a coaxial jack, hook it up, then run the auto scan.
Does this have av output?
No, it only had the coaxial port. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Do you know any similar products that are av output?
A lot of these antenna work it has a lot to do with placement the closer you put it to the window the more channels and cleaner picture. I have one that's just a flat piece of plastic I gave$12 for it and I get 34 channels and sometimes the picture starts going in and out all I have to do is move the antenna just a little and it clears up but I do live in a major city (Nashville TN so I'm sure that helps
true, I find if I move the antenna around (not necessarily near the window) I can pick up other channels or improve reception. Thanks for the comment.
I live in Elizabethton TN beside Bristol, i cant get any channels 😂
Do u need wifi for it to work?
Not at all. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I got 10 channels it says, all digital, but I can only watch 7 of them & some are pixelated so bad you can’t watch them, but I did order an antenna from an infomercial a few days ago
Reception all depends on location to towers and any possible interference. I get a handful of channels and am pleased. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I'm always on the look out for a better product to bring in OTA channels. Thanks for the comment. Have a great day and stay safe.
Yeah, you have to be within 30 miles of the broadcast tower. Closer = better reception.
How do I know where the closest broadcast tower is?
There are apps that give you directions to the closest towers
That's all I needed to know
Thank you
Happy to help. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Great video
Glad you liked it! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I use a 20-foot long piece of co-axial cable put it over my fridge and get 48 channels, I'm about 15 miles east of Cincinnati, Ohio!
That's pretty cool - thanks for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe!
i live 75 miles out of nashville, we only have 2 channels here both pbs. a relative lives in silverpoint not far from here gets about 30 channels.
Does it have Nick , Disney , MTV, MTV2 , BET OR FX
Hahaha...that's a no.
Got clear tv but i don't have HD but i do got Ono tv that name of my tv will it work
As long as your tv can accept the signal it should work. Let me know. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I might purchase this!
No tear away to open means you end up having to cut the package open then you can't return it.
Even without a tear away I'd still return it if I didn't want it.
Can this work in the Bahamas?
The functionality of this item relies on being within 30 miles of the broadcasting tower. It's all about location. I'm not sure what is near you.
@@Jeffreviews4u well I live less than 2miles from a head quarters for a cable company where there have their satellite setup
@@entertainmentvidz haha. That sounds close enough to me. It has to be over the air broadcasting.
@@Jeffreviews4u so am I able to catch some of the channels they has in their package?
@@entertainmentvidz you typically will only get abc, NBC, CBS, CW, and fox just to name a few. This will not pick up channels that are specific to cable.
I found a paper clip on the ground and stuck it in the antenna hole of my tv and I get all the local channels in my area.
Funciona en Latinoamérica?
¡Gracias por compartir!
I just purchased one two days ago.
Here is a trick I learned. When I first connected the antenna and did the search I got my normal 24 to 25 channels but much clearer. I went into my TV settings and reset my system i now get 37. I live in Baltimore city and can now pull in DC
WOW - I wonder what the reset did. I will have to try that out. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you
14 channels is alot?
I just got a regular antenna, I have way more channels.
With antennas it's all about location, location, location.
@@Jeffreviews4u Its about quality quality quality!
That a BOSE CD player?
Lol...sure is and still putting off good sound! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
You can make a better antenna with coat hangers, copper wire, screws, washers, a 75 to 300 ohm transformer (coax to 2-wires) and a piece of wood.
Wow, thanks for the tip!
I bought a digital antenna on bay for $8 and I get 98 channels
CleAr tv is one of the best I’ve gotten 50 channels
Hello i lives in nassau Bahamas. I love to buy one clear Tv. Okay i love to hear from you sir
Jeff you never reviewed the quality of the channels you did get? Snowy, fuzzy, waves or clear?
I've had others mention that. I erred on the side of caution when it comes to YTs copyright rules. That being said it definitely was not HD quality and I have to move the antenna around to get certain channels. I will say the picture on the channels that came in were pretty clear. Hope this helps.
@@Jeffreviews4u you can edit the actual stream out or blur the picture. Doesn't do people watching your vid any good if they don't see what the product delivers or doesn't.
That should have the whole idea of the review. To actually show how well the thing works. The fact that he never did that lets you know the thing is garbage.
Great review
