EXPLORING ENNERDALE IN THE LAKE DISTRICT

Ennerdale is one of my favourite parts of the Lake District. It is a brilliant base to hike some of the Wainwrights, or simply walk along the valley floor. From the lake up to Great Gable, there is only a stony track and sparse accommodation, which makes the Ennerdale valley both remote and peaceful. In this video I hike up to the YHA Black Sail hostel, and up the fire break to the summit of Red Pike.
