    Each vod review lasts for approximately 30 minutes (the timer on screen is how much longer the vod review will last).
    The players who are vod reviewed indicate 2 key moments they want to get a closer look at, what they should have done, how could they position better etc. After the 2 key moments are analyzed, mL7 continues watching the vod and review small mistakes. When there's 5-7 minutes left he'll do a summary of the things the person who is vod reviewed should focus on and small tips and tricks on how to improve those parts of their gameplay.
    To participate, you need to be a Twitch subscriber, join Discord, link your Twitch to Discord and post the game code you want reviewed in #subs_vod_review channel. Every week mL7 will do 2-4 vod reviews which will be chosen randomly.

    First off, thanks again Mister Sevon for reviewing my VOD! I was really discouraged at the start of season 2 after the SR decay and immediately losing 3 games to teams higher than my old SR. This got me back to climbing the ladder!
    Before this review, I knew Kiriko was meant to go flanks and take alternate angles, but I would not always do it because I didn't (still don't) trust my team to stay alive enough. I've been implementing a more aggressive Kiriko style that you detailed and have seen great results! You said that you believed I could get to diamond by the end of the season but, after grinding 21 wins just to return to my previous season SR, I decided not to risk falling back and missing out on the rewards. Diamond will be my goal for season 3. Hopefully, I'll be lucky enough to get an Ana VOD reviewed next season as well, as I split my time pretty evenly between the two.

      Good luck, you can do it! Especially with ml7 help, try to check the way he plays on every map and of course adapt to your ratings, honestly mL is amazing, thanks to him I went from diamond to GM3 right now, and I've had the pleasure to play with him sometimes, so keep up the good work and you will get GM guaranteed ❤️

      Generally you want to fox first especially if there’s another kiriko and use it when the enemy team starts pushing in

    This was a fantastic vod review, I'm in a similar place as this kiriko and everything you discussed was super useful. I'm gonna keep tp range and babysitting vulnerable teammates in mind in my matches from now on.

    I am a kiriko on gold who doesn't know when to use kitsune rush too.
    Most of the time I'm affraid to waste it, and sometimes I think the fight is already won, so doesn't need the ult.

    • @davidchangasleep
      @davidchangasleep Год назад

      It's a situational decision since Fox is a fight winning ultimate for your team (by increasing your team's actions per minute). It's best used when/where the rest of your team can use the rush - you very rarely will use it only for yourself. Depending on how much healing you do, you can often farm Fox very quickly, in which case, it's usually better to use your ultimate rather than hold it.
      (A) In this VOD, kitsune is used reactively to counter the enemy kitsune rush, to keep your team from being put at a disadvantage in the fight.
      (B) You can also use to gain an advantage in a 4v5 fight where your team is disadvantaged. Ask yourself if the fight is still winnable.
      (C) You might use Fox to secure a fight that you're not sure your team will win (e.g. you are even or have a numbers advantage, but they have positional or ultimate advantage). This is where tracking the kill feed comes in handy. If your team kills the enemy tank or one of the enemy supports in a 5v5, the team fight is probably won.
      (D) As mentioned in other comments, you try to get Fox first in a round because your team using Fox first can help your team gain ult charge or win the first team fight (and gain positional advantage), which can help you to snowball the rest of the round.
      (E) As mentioned in another Kiriko video, you sometimes use Fox early during the team fight if you want to play fast, force an early engage, or force cooldowns. For example, you might Fox when a Winston jumps in (committing to a fight but before his team can rotate into the fight). Sometimes being the first Kiriko to ult will win the fight if the enemy team can't use a defensive ult, kite, or answer with their own Kitsune Rush. Conversely, sometimes you will wait until enemy cooldowns or ultimates have been forced before you use Fox. (For example, after suzu was used or Beat/Transcendence have ended.)
      Push Maps are excellent for Kiriko because you have to think micro to win the next fight (are you winning or losing? ultimate timing) but also think macro to win the game mode (winning certain fights are more important than others, ultimate economy)

      @@davidchangasleep Ok, interesting situations, thank you for the help.
      The one thing that makes me feel affraid of using it is the timing it requires to build the ult. Does it charge faster healing or causing damage?
      My team cam still won with a fox ult if my tank is dead?
      I almost doesn't use the ult as a react because I think it would be a waste. Sometimes I'd like do lose the fight and wait for my team to regroup, so I can use the ult without the fear of being countered.

    • @davidchangasleep
      @davidchangasleep Год назад

      @@aeni13 You build more ult charge with healing than damage. But you have downtime for 2 kunai between healing ofudas, so even when you're healing, you should be trying to do damage.
      It's very much a judgement call as to when to use your Ultimate, but you don't want to hold Fox too long because that's time you could be using to farm another ultimate. Kitsune Rush is a win condition for your team, it can very easily turn around a fight that you are losing. For example, if you are in a 5v5 fight, and your tank goes down, you could use your Ultimate immediately to try to enable your team to get a pick (preferably on a support) to make the fight winnable (a 4v4). Other times, like you said, it may make sense to save Fox and wait for your team to regroup if you can't get a pick within 5-10 seconds.
      Tracking the kill feed is the easiest way to gauge whether or not your team is advantaged or disadvantaged. As you get better at Overwatch, it definitely helps to track ultimates and cooldowns (both of your own team and the enemy team) to get better value from Kiriko's kit.

      @@davidchangasleep I always track my team's ultimate cooldown.
      But not always from my enemies. Some ults are kinda hard to track.
      Thanks for explaining everything to me.

    This is the type of Kiriko players that pisses me off. So scared of taking fights and always staying behind their tank. If they don't have a 1shot character just go in. Also healbotting when is totally not needed just to go at the end of the match with 20k healing but 300 damage and complaining that they lost the game (but only after cause during the game they usually don't say a word nor in chat and even less in vc). Throwing 10 kunais in a whole game is not a good gameplay
