I love how sometimes he phrazes and intonize his words like he'd speak Romanian but it doesn't sound the same cause it's English, but I get it cause I know how it would sound in Romanian and it's funny to hear it in English

somewhere around 16:00+ there was an unused nano when genji bladed and I couldn't concentrate on what ML said because of the small detail - ana used her "my ultimate is ready" button. it doesn't sound like something important at first, but I easily can see that genji heard it and accepted it as an invetation to use his own ult, which has led to fustration about not getting the full nano+blade combo, maybe that's the reason he didn't do much with his blade after all

YEESSS. OMG, THANK YOU FOR THIS. This is how Overwatch makes sense to me! And WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree about giving yourself mini-goals ~ focusing more on what I **can** do to achieve the needed goal rather than not being able to achieve the goal in the specific way other players think that goal should be obtained.
    If that makes sense.
Aaaaaanyway. This was a stellar and incredibly helpful VOD, ML. I've never thought you were mean or yelling or anything like that in any of your VODs I've seen. You're easily one of my favorites.

7:53 Great point, I in my head have rules for when I use x or y ability but those are just when you CAN use abilities, you should always try to save them if you can.
27:29 I want to be the kind of person who is good at not being fazed by their mistakes, that's a good goal to make one of your strengths.
29:23 Giving myself 5 mistakes per game is a GREAT idea, not only as ML7 said is it about making the fewest mistakes a KEY moments e.g. you can make 100 mistakes in a game the enemy only 1 and that's the 1 that matters and so you have to realize its a little bit RNG whether the mistakes matter (but they will more and more you go up ranks, top 500 players can win 100% of games to diamond because their average mistakes are single digits, plat players are plat because they are double digits, a top 500 could still lose said game if their mistakes happen to be key mistakes but the sheer likelyhood less of the top500 players mistakes is so much lower it adds up to them being a consistently better player) this is a massive help is being less fazed by your mistakes - being more like a proffessional who can take it on the chin a bit more.
^Also you will have focal points and reminders and associations with the mistakes you commonly make and be able to correct them more easily.
^Most importantly I feel though this actually gives you a judge of how well you're playing, I would usually have no idea mid game how well I'm playing. Additionally giving a quantity makes it reasonable there are always some things you can't account for even if you have and impliment 100 rules of how to play ana to a pro level there will still be things outside of those rules that you go I shouldn't have done that dang it - but its not useful you take that and you'er kinda like oh well not like I can account for everything and before you know it you make 10-15 fairly major mistakes that game, which should've indicated to you something was going wrong and you were playing far outside how/the style of how you actually intended to play.
^Finally if you can actually do less than 5 major mistakes in a game you're a fricken god, hence ml7 suggested raising it as it seems from what he said about using this for himself and how it helped him, this is his number or has been recently.

I stopped joining voice chat when I came back to the game after a couple years away (came back for ow2 launch). My rank is basically the same as it was before I left, give or take a 100 or so SR. I've even started leaving text chat if I feel like there's the slightest chance I'm going to get judged for how I'm playing. I find that I play so much better when I don't think about how others think of me. The moment I start doubting my aim on widow, for example, I start missing every shot. Confidence plays a HUGE role in performance.
Also I think I'm going to start watching back any player that I perceive as carrying my games, so I can see all of their mistakes. Might help boost my own confidence.
