Glad it helped you Amy! And not sure about the FB part. It would really depend on how they're viewing your FB. If they're on mobile already I'm not sure if it would work. But if they're viewing you on desktop then they can scan the code to visit your shop on mobile. I would try putting a QR code link in your Facebook banner that could take them to either your email list sign up or to your Etsy shop. Though I suppose you could try putting a QR code in the corner of a product image on social media that links to that specific product on your Etsy... Try it, test it, and then tell us how it goes 😁
HI Melissa, Am watching all the way from Kenya, I have a question , am a small laundromat and wanted a Q R code for feed back, cause I or to a price list because don't have a website to lead them to as yet. We don't use QR codes much here so am wondering do the customers have to download a QR code reader?
Hi Melissa! I love your personality. I'm an independent beauty consultant with Mary Kay. I have numerous facial jars out around town for new leads. I am so new with understanding QR codes I think it will be a real boost to get new leads. At the moment I have sign up slips for them to sign up for a free facial. What I would like to do is place a QR Code for them to scan and get the information about the free facial and tell them to send me a text "WIN" for a free facial. I understand I can make the post with QR code but when they scan a code where does it take them? Do I need a free website, I am confused. Please help. Thank you
Great question! Ultimately a website would be a great place to send them, but with just starting out I would recommend sending them to a google form. This way you can collect all the info you want for the free facials.
That's a great question Cindy--to my knowledge there is no limit on the number of scans. Think of the QR code as a visual website address. Instead of the person typing in a website they are just scanning the QR code.

This was extremely helpful! I'm glad I watched. What software did you use to create the flyer to promote your qd code though?
Remember that once created the QR code is just an image. So I uploaded it to Canva for my flyer 💚
I learned so much Melissa. Thank you. Can you put wR codes on your products on FB so it takes them right to the purchase page on Etsy?

Hi, Melissa. Thank you for the tutorial. May I know if the QR code has limited number of scans?
