Robert- your video helped me create business cards for my staff. As a small business you can't even imagine how helpful this was. They were so happy with them! Many thanks

Thank you, Robert!!! I thought I knew how to do this in Canva but was missing the Vcard step in QR Code Monkey...thank you for sharing your knowledge with us and taking the time to create this virtual business card tutorial.
What could you suggest to have quick access to the card on your phone? Instead of looking for it in the pictures. And having it on the Home Screen would be annoying. If there was a widget that you click and opens the picture? Lmk thanks!
Thank you. Very helpful. One question I have is 'Do you find that most people's phones are set to accept QR codes? Maybe you could do a video showing how to quickly help someone you meet (let's say at a networking event) whose phone is not setup-to help them quickly set it up on the spot-in order for you to smoothly make that transfer of information. Just a thought...
Thanks for the idea Denise, it makes sense. Meanwhile you can check this video for android phones: ruclips.net/video/QjHZfW5orOU/видео.html and on iPhone: ruclips.net/video/JT6HmI3Rm0k/видео.html
hi..Thanks for the tutorial.. but where best to put it for most efficient access? i tried to put in my home screen but i can't figure out how.. on my iphone i mean
I have an iphone, but this should work same on android (on older version you might have to install an app or enable it in settings. New android phones should recognize it automatically)
Awesome content, what if I want to add a photo of me so is more immediate for them to remember me? what if I also want a link to a video presentation that is a demo of what I do? thanks really
A photo should be possible, you just need to store it somewhere (like on your website) and then link to it. But the video with contacts... that might be hard. You could add a link to the vitudal business card. But there is no guarantees people will click on it.
QR monkey doesn't create a separate url for the QR code. Not sure why would you want to include QR code in NCF tag though? Since you can just add the url directly?
Thanks for the great video. When I go to make a QR code and download it I noticed that my contact information had a pic of an eagle on it, when I take a pic of it. I can’t find a way to remove it.
Hello! great video by the way!. I was wondering how safe is QR code Monkey, before I put my phone number I looked at the reviews and they were all bad. They say it stops working after two weeks and then you have to pay so the QR code works. So for people who want to print business cards it wont work. Did that happened to you ? thank you!
Hello, just tested the QR code I have in my thumbnail of this video, and it still works! It's 9 months old. Maybe the reviews mean the paid service which has trial period? In any case the QR code includes the information you enter, it's stored in the picture and QR monkey can't do anything about it. You can test it with any "qr code url decoder" on google
Question: when I generate the code and I insert my email in the contact field, the code shows me my name with my email immediately under it. However, if I don't include my email during the set up I can get it to show what I enter in organization and position. How can I get it to only include my email in the email portion and my organization and position immediately under my name?
it's possible but then you need to start the project as digital business card in canva. Then it kinda creates a mini website and you will have a link that you can share.
Good question, haven't done it myself, but with quick search it seems to be possible. I imagine you need to link the image from a website or something, I don't think it can store the image itself.

But how do I make a website for the business card or whatever
Hi Robert! How do I find the URL or the vfc file of the vcard we made in qr code monkey? i want to link the QR code to an NCF tag also.
QR monkey doesn't create a separate url for the QR code. Not sure why would you want to include QR code in NCF tag though? Since you can just add the url directly?
Right, you have a point! Thanks! :) very useful video, by the way.
Hi, any way to include a photo in the contact card. In your example, it is reflected as “RR”. Thanks in advance!
Most of the online QR code generators have an option in the vcard to insert an image or logo.
Outstanding!
Glad you like it!
Thanks for the great video. When I go to make a QR code and download it I noticed that my contact information had a pic of an eagle on it, when I take a pic of it. I can’t find a way to remove it.
were you able to resolve this?
@@tipswithpunch not really but thank you 🙏 for such good advice.
Nice 👍🏻
Thanks ✌️
Thanks! ✌️
Welcome!
once created, does it expire?
or is there a subscription ?
it shouldn't expire unless you create an account with them, then there is subscription.
Helpful, thank you
Great to hear that Khaled!

Sorry Isabel, not sure how to help you with this.
I can use this qrcode image in flutter it will scan like this
not sure what you mean...
Lets you create card will not let you download, asking to be a paid up member
your design probably has some paid design elements.
those readings are exactly whats happening to me now, wow😮

How to amend or update the phone number or email if i change number in the future?
you will have to generate new QR code as it changes when you update any information.
is there any way we can make the informatiom provided in qr code clickable? like if they click on phn number or email they will be directed
it's possible but then you need to start the project as digital business card in canva. Then it kinda creates a mini website and you will have a link that you can share.
@@tipswithpunch can we get a tutorial please? 😁
Hi, the QR cannot be scaned from my own phone. Pop up some error mesage. Any help?
Sorry if none QR codes work, then I don't know how to help, it's about your phone
does this work on iPhone and Android?
Some older androids don't recognize QR codes immediately (you need to enable in settings) but newer Androids work fine.
Does QR have enough storage to add a contact photo?
Good question, haven't done it myself, but with quick search it seems to be possible. I imagine you need to link the image from a website or something, I don't think it can store the image itself.
Nice Video Helpful

it doesnt download the QR code. just stuck downloading. tried multiple times
hmm that's strange... if it doesn't work use this tool: www.qr-code-generator.com/
@@tipswithpunch thanks this one workes , the other didnt
Canva is kinda like cheating ( not really) for us videographers and digital artists... use it constantly when I need a quick logo or something.
haha, yeah Canva is really useful tool to have. They have so many features & templates, I love it too.
Anyone here having use to scan the QR code with an android phone?
on older androids you need to enable some settings to scan a QR
