Hi Katt, Thanks for this tutorial, I have a specific question so I hope you will see this comment. Do you know if I can build a dynamic QR code that will do two functions. 1. Send them to a landing page to subscribe to my digital newsletter and 2. Also track their location via GPS so I know where the person subscribed! Thanks.
@@thewayfaringtraveller what is the medium you're using to disseminate the QR codes? If it's a relatively fixed location (i.e. a sign at a restaurant), you can use UTM parameters to distinguish scan locations for traffic to your landing page. The benefit of this is you avoid any need for a user to allow location sharing (which could deter conversions). I might have a different answer if you have a different need - let me know!
@@thewayfaringtraveller Also - I couldn't find Beaconstac when I first replied... Turns out they renamed this year! They might be a better fit than Me-QR for what you need: www.uniqode.com/qr-code-generator/for-tracking

I am glad I seen you thumbnail! I was just about to pay for a QR code and I've had Canva for years!!! I would've never know that was an option!! Hope you reach your goals and thank you!
YES! That's amazing!! I love saving money!!! I've been MIA on here while I work on another channel, and am so happy to see this popping back on here. I wish you the same with your goals!

This is a great video, thank you. Very curious, for anyone that has been using the QR Codes from canvas, do you know if there is a scan limits? If there is, what is the scan limits?
Yes and yes! It's a good idea to consider if the other business(es) will need access to the raw QR codes and insights - you can share projects via Canva, and for Me-QR you can consider either sharing an account or sharing insights as needed. If you are handling all production and simply turning over completed designs, the above doesn't matter so much.
So once they scan the QR code how can we have an questionnaire that captures full name email and phone number of a person that scans the code and once these information are captured allow that person to see a specific page
once i create a QR code - print it and give it to my customer. Can I update or edit the information for the user (on my end) without printing out another code for them ? or do i have to print a new QR code with the updated info. ?
Yes, but there are 2 things to consider: If you're using a dynamic QR code: You always have the option to edit the content connected to a particular QR Code. If you're changing the underlying content on a URL that is linked to a URL code (such as a blog post, Canva template link, or Google Slides link): When you update whatever that lives on that URL and do NOT change the URL address, the scanner will see the current iteration whenever they scan a QR code attached to a URL. -- If your goal is to link to something that doesn't have its own web URL, like a media file upload, just make sure you're using a dynamic QR code that you can edit if need be :)

This one is in Canva still and it's free version seems to have all the same perks: customizable, trackable, and a variety of destinations. There is also a bulk-QR code creator but I'm not sure if it's a premium feature. app.flowcode.com/createflowcode or search "FlowCode" in Canva!

Sorry for the late response. What you'd want to do is create something like a LinkTree or a single page on your website where all your social links are listed, and then use the URL for that "Home Base" as the destination for your QR.
No, they don't expire. Did you create one through Canva that no longer works? If you're sure the link you used hasn't changed, it's possible you used a different 3rd party app that's integrated with Canva. Canva states in their FAQs that codes from their native QR code generator do not expire: www.canva.com/qr-code-generator/ I hope you get it working!!
Why not show us how to do it, not just talk great if you have done it before could not even find how to get a qr square code! so had to look for someone who shows you!

Hi Katt! FlowCode will allow to learn how many people scanned the code for analytical purposes?
What happens when we've created a qr code through Canva using software such as ME-QR and Canva switches to different software?

How to create design qr code
Can I make one with all my social media links in one place for free?
Sorry for the late response. What you'd want to do is create something like a LinkTree or a single page on your website where all your social links are listed, and then use the URL for that "Home Base" as the destination for your QR.
Can Android scan this QR code as well
Yes!
Does QR codes created on Canva become inactive after a week??
