The first voice singing his song in the crowd in this scene was the real Zach’s friend Sammy and I think that’s what breaks me the most about this scene.
I had the pleasure of being Zach’s classmate. We weren’t close but I can say he was an amazing person. He was funny and caring. And the biggest regret I’ve ever made was not being his friend. or even really talking to him. But I miss him a lot.
This actually didn’t happened in real-life though. It was just added. In reality if I’m not mistaken, I think he was able to finish singing that song. R.I.P. legendary Zach Sobiech ❤ “You don’t have to find out you’re dying to start living”
Although I’m sad that he’s gone, I remember about how he’s in the clouds now, and about how much music he made before he left. He truly inspires me. He was the one who got me into songwriting.
Is it just me or do you guys feel happy for Zach because his last wish was fullfilled before he died? He wanted everyone to sing his song and it happened. Thank you Zach for the great music and fighting like a legend
I fell down, down, down Into this dark and lonely hole There was no one there to care about me anymore And I needed a way to climb and grab a hold of the edge You were sitting there, holding a rope And we'll go up, up, up But I'll fly a little higher Go up in the clouds because the view's a little nicer Up here my dear It won't be long now, it won't be long now When we get back on land Well I'll never get my chance Be ready to live and it'll be ripped right out of my hands And maybe someday we'll take a little ride We'll go up, up, up and everything will be just fine We'll go up, up, up But I'll fly a little higher Go up in the clouds because the view's a little nicer Up here my dear It won't be long now, it won't be long now If only I had a little bit more time If only I had a little bit more time with you We could go up, up, up And take that little ride We'll sit there holding hands And everything would be just right And maybe someday I'll see you again We'll float up in the clouds and we'll never see the end We'll go up, up, up But I'll fly a little higher Go up in the clouds because the view's a little nicer Up here my dear It won't be long now, it won't be long now
I really appreciate Justin Baldoni participating in directing this movie. Everything I’ve seen him play or have to do with is amazing. It’s a touching story, definitely made me bawl my eyes out like a baby
I didn't know Zach or his family. But I do live in the area and followed his journey for his final two years. My commute home took me directly past the church on the day of his funeral. That was unexpectedly powerful. I met his mother, Laura, at a Children's Cancer 5K the following spring. She is a pillar of strength. Her book is an outstanding read. If you cried during this amazing movie, you'll sob reading it. I wish I'd known Zach. Laura's book is Fly A Little Higher, original version. It's been updated to include movie information, and released under the title Clouds: A Memoir. I'm not affiliated in any way. I am truly a fan of the book.
Honestly I felt like Disneys movies were not as good as they could be. When this hit Disney plus I watched it and it broke me. I was blown away at Disney for making a movie that was this good. I hope they don’t loose their edge again this was an amazing and sad movie
Just finished this movie. Haven't cried in nearly 5 years but my gosh this movie had me sobbing. God bless you Zach and what you did. The ending just showed that angels do watch down on us
He didn’t deserve to die he was an amazing man and It’s just so hard when u relate to him and it makes me cry bc he loved so many ppl and the fact he died in front of his schools makes it every sadder and I just wanna cry ever time I here the song❤️
I knew he died before watching the movie, I had a feeling the moment he started struggling to sing that the audience would join in. BUT I STILL BAWLED MY EYES OUT FOR THIS SCENE
I only watched this movie about 3 months ago, a church friend held a movie night at her place and my best friends all came. After the movie we all sat around the fire and talked and goofed around. I've moved ab 500 miles away and cry everyone I hear this song. Nostalgia can be slow or quick to develop, so remember when its developing so the memories stay with you forever.
I'm so happy to come back acrossed this again. Zach is and was a beautiful cousin of mine. Laura, your son is looking from those clouds, knowing that they made movie about him, to further carry his spirit. I've owned his CD since they released it almost, if not 10 years ago. This song has always had a special place in my heart. It was so nice to hear Sammy's voice in the crowd who started singing. That was such a touching feature to the song her and Zach sung and wrote together.
Ком в горле и слезы сами льются из глаз... Такая светлая и грустная история... Песня Зака доходит до самого сердца❤️ Спасибо, что ты был. С любовью из Питера💗

In 2010 My mom was diagnosed with a disease that would forever change my family's life there is no cure or treatment it just gets worse till you pass... in the scene where Zach finds out he is terminal I related so much I had a break down and had to stop the movie for the night this is just a fair warning that if you watch this movie be prepared to sob.lol.
