Seeing RAMONES the first time changed it all for me. 1989, Dallas, TX at the Arcadia Theater. Right on.

i wish more of their shows were officially videod, especially the richie era. dee dee was in the band and they played fast with the original style instead of this ultra fast style where they kinda skipped alot of the important 8th notes which ramones was based on

Live in Bremen, we had to carry a buddy home after 2 hrs of pogo dancing, and our ears hurt for 3 days. Ramones forever! man, I feel so old now^^
The world miss this great band... I like the Ramones' sound and style at the 90's, they played so much fast and gave more energy to the show and the crowd. Sad they walked out of this world...

Yeah, The Ramones found 1 sound and 1 concept that kicks asses, and it was brilliant. So later Iron Maiden since Bruce Dickinson came in band. R.E.M. and U2, they also do the same again and again and it works. Rest in Peace my Friend from America, you gave your best.

Life's too short but the songs are never short enough The Ramones are like their songs they're fast quick and they're like a meteorite burning up in the atmosphere they're beautiful while they're there and then they're gone you maybe never see it again but you keep your eyes open waiting and wondering and hoping but it's very doubtful God bless those guys I feel blessed to have known them even if it was on a limited scale the best influence I've ever had in my whole life more than my father my priest and my dog Fido

Excellent post. I saw them in Bristol on this tour. It's great to hear live versions of the Mondo Bizarro tracks that I've not heard since that night. One thing about being older than many who comment here is that I got to see them 5 times, some of the best memories of my life so far.

Fui em um show aqui em Curitiba, na pedreira Paulo Leminski( Uma cachoeira a frente do palco) . Viper, Raimundos, Sepultura e...RAMONES!!! Um dia de outubro muito quente, no meio do show do Sepultura, caiu não uma chuva, mas uma tempestade!!! Raios caiam ao lado das caixas de som, foi irado, e o Max guturando!! Cortaram o show para dar a vez ao Ramones, com medo de faltar luz e a galera ficar sem os FERAS!! Lembranças que jamais esquecerei...O medo da tempestade com o RAMONES na minha frente!!
Queria estar no seu lugar, ter ido num show da lenda, da melhor banda de todos os tempos.

Joey expressed some anguish and perhaps some jealousy when asked about the gold record that he received appearing on the German punk cover album. After 30+ of blood, sweat, and tears in the Ramones at this point, they were never recognized by the Establishment in a manner that earned them a gold record until 2014.
Let's all be honest and say: fuck the establishment. The Ramones never needed media praise to be the greatest.
@@pablo30744 4 years later , I agree with you! None of them died poor....Joey was worth something like 7 MILLION and Johnny had 10 million and DeeDee had about a million but i believe it was more. Marky 2 million, Tommy 5 MILLION............ If the MSM would've paid attention they would've been worth more! They achieved much more than any of us could imagine. They got inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame!!!! RAMONES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEY HO LET'S GO!
