Tetris Solid is a new strategy game. The game is played differently, rather than eliminating horizontal rows the goal is to stack the blocks in a complete solid structure. No T spins. No gaps. Aim for the highest score on the leaderboard.

This NEEDS to be a real set. It’s so perfect for Lego, it would be a shame for them not to do it.

Seems like a pretty good set, although I imagine the full version would change the casing to resemble an arcade cabinet or computer monitor.
I could see it selling, since we've already seen the NES, Atari 2600, and Pac-Man sets. This would look good next to them.
Alternatively, the same mechanism could be used to create a Connect 4 game.
They'd have to work out licensing with TTC, but yeah this would be awesome.
I think if they made the outside look like the original game boy cartridge it could be really cool
What if they made multiple variations or made it have a rebuildable/removable case, so it can showcase all the era of tetris?

The play function is genius and the side build is gorgeous. One thing I'm not sure about is that it might need too many parts for Lego to want to publish it

As an immense fan of both im surprised no one has thought of this yet. This should definitely exist, though id personally change it to commemorate the origonal tetris though I understand that most peoplle would be turned away from that

Oh my gooooosh, this is really fun! :) I like that the lid of the box is propped up to be the board you use, the mechanism for slotting pieces in is cool, I love the slider acting as a piece queue, it's all so goooood~

This would make such a fun LEGO set! Rarely do you see LEGO sets that everyone, including adults, can play with after it's built. But as a board game version of Tetris, I think the pieces needs to be more random, maybe a roll of the dice? Special dice that have what piece you need to use next and maybe the other die is a disadvantage/advantage die. Or a downloadable app so it knows how many pieces you have to work with, avoiding constant rerolls when the dice favor one piece too often. Maybe a mechanism that let's you clear solid lines.
