    I thought TCA cross works better for icepick scarring, not rolling and boxcar scars like the patient in the video? Probably didn’t show results because they weren’t that good, as this isn’t the preferred method of treatment for this particular type of scarring.

    • @NotLikeUs17
      @NotLikeUs17 3 года назад

      @franz 4ever glycolic acid is the truth, when used correctly and appropriately. I don’t have any rolling scars but from other peoples experience with them, they are easier to treat then ice pick and boxcar scarring. I’ve seen impressive results on Reddit with glycolic acid and micro-needling in regards to rolling scars. I know for myself, I have boxcar scarring mixed with little ice pick scarring and my holy grail products have been micro-needling, Tretinoin, glycolic acid with collagen promoting serums.

You can apply it at peel strength which is anywhere from 20%-70% leave on for a couple minutes and then rinse/neutralize or you can can dilute 20% down to 10% like I do and leave on over night - depending on your skin type you can do this a couple times a week but if you’re going to do peels than I would say every two weeks.

      Sure, feel free to message me for an update in the next few weeks etc/ if u look up David Lim (Australian dermatologist) there’s so much information on acne scarring on RUclips. He said one needs at lease 2 TCA cross treatments to see noticeable results and 3 subcision if needed. The doctor who did my procedure works alongside a very well known UK dermatologist Tony Chu. Chu ONLY ever does microneedling and doesn’t believe in lasers. However it’s a long process. If u do one treatment spaced 2 months apart that’s 6 in a year. That’s prob how many sessions one needs on average to see an improvement.

      @@jonvillanueva1000 just simply means buy a TCA and do it yourself if you want to see what the results will be.. but be careful you need to know what to do or how to use TCA the correct way. Otherwise go to his cleaning and pay hundreds and see the results after... does it make sense now? you know it's going to be a long comment if I put it this way right? so I just assumed one has common sense reading my comment

      Marvin G. Your saying why do we need to see results when we can go in and pay for it ourselves or even worse do the procedure on ourselves. Who makes an investment or really any cosmetic procedure without prior research

    • @jonvillanueva1000
      @jonvillanueva1000 4 года назад

      Marvin G. I don’t know if you think you sound intelligent but you don’t. People chemically burn themselves all the time, all scars are different and require different treatments which is why it’s important to see results.

      @@jonvillanueva1000 You know that what you are saying to me is irrelevant to my original comment? anyway I won't argue with you but the fact is there will be people who will take risk and spend money just to look slightly a bit better I am for one.. but I won't spend thousands for it but just going to be careful on what I'll use.. I don't use TCA but you can definitely buy it.... and as far as results are concerned just look it up on another video obviously the doctor here does not want to show what the results it might be bad it might be good who knows that's his option or maybe to get people to be curious you see that he advertise his service right? that should answer it

      I hate hate hate chemical peels.
      They are exactly what created this problem. My skin was fine yet while under anesthesia my insane plastic surgeon slathered that on me. I woke up in agony. He refused to remove it.
      It ultimately created cystic acne nightmare and scarring too.
      I also think it triggered Morgellons disease.
      Don't let any doctor do that to you.

      Try Platinum skin care, I use their Tca and glycolic and several other products and they have great videos to show you how to do it. You need to prep your skin first for several weeks to avoid hyperpigmentation or melasma.
