Patient with darker skin tone with deep acne scars receives her third TCA Cross procedure with significant improvement. My derma did TCA cross & fractional to me 70percent two week ago. The scars became wider and it so devastating :( even the unnoticable scar before is now WIDE. Make me want to cry looking at it. Is this normal with TCA or should I change my derma?

Same did mine with 100% it’s been 11 days now all the dead skin peels but still red dots and scars seems deeper and bigger 😭 I am losing my mind right now .. will the skin grow back to normal ?
I believe there are studies saying that TCA Cross can really widen scars. Phenol cross (I think it’s rarely done) are way better as it doesn’t widen the scar but the downtime is longer I think.

Girl, imma do it at home. I’m pretty sure other ppl do it at home themselves too. Just wear gloves and get a lower percentage concentrate. Start off with 35%. Need: gloves, toothpicks, TCA Acid. They sell the acid on Amazon or your nearest Walmart.
