my place only does 20% TCA...I HAVE MANY DEEP scars from picking....im going in tmrw for a peel but not sure if its a waist of money if it is only 20%...obv anything will help my face but should i go somewhere that has the 80%...my place is based more on fillers and botox...maybe i should go somewhere that focouses on scaring...i just love the Drs and the girls at Goldfingers....is the TCA 20% worth the couple hundred bucks

Doctors would advise to never do it at home, but honestly, plenty people do it, just have to be extremely careful with the protocol, what type of scar you have, skin tone, hygiene, basic health things like that, or you might end up burning your face and getting stains on it that you might not be able to get rid of, like melasma.
The acid used for this is probably TCA, and it varies in porcentages, for better results it's better to use a minimum of 70%. It's a pretty strong acid.
