I mow down all my Fall leaves . I haven’t bagged leaves in over 10 years. I just mow as if I’m cutting my lawn. I love it. I hold two bags of leaves to pile on to of freshly planted seeds, but everything else is mulched and left to breakdown in my yard…your place is beautiful…💕
Kip is adorable! I really enjoy seeing him in your videos. Where’s your kitty? I think you have a cat? I’m not sure…..we’d love to see more of your pets…💕😀
You are so inspiring and insightful knowing this is a lot for one person…but you will always find a way to simplify and still keep it beautiful. I read the comment about you and Better Homes and Gardens. I will have to get that! I had a subscription to that magazine for over 25 years and now I might just have to resubscribe!
Looks like we’re heading into the third summer of drought here in Missouri. My Annabelles and Limelights are really suffering, and I have list so many hardy perennials. The watering is not keeping up with the winds! But, we persevere. 😊🙏🏻. Always enjoy seeing your gardens, Kaleb!
Kaleb, right when you were pulling that weed (@ 6:34 )it looked like a baby Japanese Beetle crawling along the stone surface in front of your hand. Was it? Do you have them in your area?
I would totally try this if I didn’t have drip lines everywhere. Great idea! For now I just blow all the leaves and debris out into the grass before my husband mows. 😊
I just love all your videos thank you for the idea with the mower I definitely going to keep that in mind you know what I'm going to write it in my journal so I won't forget.. Hi Kippy
This is wild. I never would have thought of doing this. Can this be done if I have bagged, colored mulch? I have black mulch on the beds that I am wanting to eventually get rid of becuase I want to go for something more natural.
I was just going to ask Kaleb where is his eye protection!! I cut back in this exact same way and have had whips come across my cheeks so many times there is no way I can do this without eye protection.
I always chop n drop, after all no one’s raking and carting away debris in the forest and that is our classroom and teacher. We’ve been conditioned to have perfectly swept concrete and perfectly green manicured lawns. Two of the most unnatural constructs in a natural world.
Just saw your article in Better Homes & Gardens magazine. Really Nice!!! Congratulations!! 👍😀

Kip at 9:39 made me lol. Always supervising.
You’re right-it looks scary, but I’ve seen you do it in past years, so I know it works! Your yard is amazing!
What a great idea! It sure saves on fertilizer. Who doesn’t like adding natural mulch to a garden for free! Thanks for the great tip.
“Just gonna plant that back in.”💚

Great video! Don't forget to wear sunglasses outside in the bright sun!
And for eye protection from flying debris
I love this. Low maintenance enough anyone could do it. Very inspiring!!
Wow I was surprised to see you mow all of that. Never would have thought you could have mulched the branches with mower ..
Ooh I can’t wait to see your gardens in bloom! Beautiful!💚💚💚

Thanks for this vlog.
How much does it cost to maintain and especially the mower?
I finally found you again👏👏 RUclips keeps unsubscribing me 😔
I always learn something clever from you.
Excellent video !!

Never thought to "mow" my garden beds! Free compost, who wouldn't want that,
Do you leave your fallen hydrangea leaves on the ground through winter?
What are the row of shrubs in front of the hydrangeas at the back of your yard? They are beautiful ☀️

Hi please wear safety glasses while you mow your lawn I know it's hard when you are filming but safety first

I ever Knew that if you left cuttings on your rocks or pavers, it could breed grasses and weeds
For No Mow May .... can we mow in April? Just kidding, we need the bee's. Give us a head start 🐝🐞
