Thanks for the great video! Loved the in depth video. Would be awesome if you could review the holly land lark c1. I ask for that because it has a pass through charging usb port wherein I can charge my phone and also use the mic.

Thank you! I viewed your screen shot of the RodeME app and or dashboard mic settings and wonder was your gain set to LOW while in "GainAssist" mode? I can't decide if I like my DJI mic or my RodeME mic better. Thanks again for sharing.
i usually use low or mid. but never high. for my pocket 3, i use dji mic 2 which is also a dedicated mic for pocket 3 (for all my outdoor stuff). works really well. rode is also a mic that i frequently use with my camera esp when i shoot inside my studio. i cannot say which is better. go for what suits you better for price and form factor. i do find rode design a bit big nowadays with more competition.

What cable used for ( old rode wireless mic - to Android? I have trrs trs but it don’t works unless phone with audio port. But in iOS Apple phone iPad is working. I have Motorola edge40 Neo but my rode wireless won’t works coz there is no audio port or head sets port, I’ve tried all cables for external mic wireless mic. Still don’t work . But I like the Motorola. Can you give me any suggestions ? If no possible way will return the phone. But I like the phone. Ty ❤❤❤❤❤

It's not simple at all! I have connected them, but the sound is the same as without any mic at all! Do I have to pair them? Why the software is showing TX1 and TX2 I/o RX and TX?
I really wish Rode would of included the MagGlip Go with this package.

Hi Young, I have just bought Rode Wireless ME. My wife as a interview over whatsapp on Android phone on a Radio channel in few days. How do I connect to my mobile phone so that the audio is high quality for radio transmission. I will be asked questions on Whatsapp. will there be feedback
Also I have downloaded the Rode Central to sync RX and TX but it is not identifying the Rode device. Is this the right app for the Android phone
Need help. I for the life of me can NOT get the TX to connect. It shows its on. It shows its paired w/ the RX. I have the RX hooked up to my cell phone using FilmMic Pro and nothing. I can get audio for the RX when its on. When its off i get nothing from the RX or the TX. I need the TX to connect and it wont. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.

i use in outdoor, although this kind of microphone is best fpr recording voice. but if you dont speak or make any nearby sound, then the microphome can record surrounding sound, i suppose. this microphone works fine with my s10plus and s23 ultra, so it works with samsung phones fine. it also works woth my rather old Asus laptop so the voice over will totally work :)

it was to show that a third mic is connected.. abit hard to see as it is too fast. initially, you see 2 mic but when the arrow is out, you see 3 mics

@@Young360 To me both the DJI and Ankor sounded like I was sitting next to you, while the Rode Wireless ME sounded a little tinny and flat. It could have been the environment. Could be an interesting video comparing the top Mic's on the market.

Perhaps I am being a little unfair here in this comment.
I bought a set and the only way I seen to be able to make it work was I had to have both units on to get it to record. I 1st wanted to get it to record fireworks on the 4th, but didn't know you had to somehow get it online to update it with the proper software and turn on the mic individually just to get it to work was a real disappointment since I had zero sound when I had the mic on. I used a USB-C to USB-C cable to run to my computer later and nether one was recognized.
I get there is a learning curb to getting this to work right, but why in the hell is the TX mic not defaulted to on that cost me a fail to record. What is with the learning curb? I returned them sorry to say and went DJI Microphone instead. At least I know it will work and I can get right into the settings via the receiver unit.
Too bad that ruined the experience for me. If it was less confusing getting started, I might have had a much better experience and liked them much more. That irritation just cost Rode my business. Sorry to say.
How does it compare to the Wireless Go II? Any upgrades?
i wouldnt say an upgrade. but more for those who want to buy a mic and want a simpler solution :) mic quality is more or less the same i think?
I see you're using the new Insta360 Flow. I got one too. It's soooo good for solo content creation. Just started using it, but pleased so far.

What tripod is best?
If you just film on your phone camera does it just turn off the phone mic and use the rode instead ?
if rode is connected, the only sound recording will be done via rode

I think the Dji wireless mics are a better choice.
There is not an attached lepal mic, so sad for me. i don't need this because off the lepal mic is not attached, but your review is great work 👍
but you can add the lepal mic into the transmitter... altho you would need to buy it separately
I found the sound quality from the receiver mic to be dramatically poorer than the transmitter mic.
Now, 24 hours later, I've checked several other reviews of the Rode Wireless ME. They all show that the Rx mic produces identical quality sound as from the Tx mic. Could it be that your clip of the Rx mic was accidentally recording from the phone's mic?
Regardless, I'm now a proud owner of a Fulaim X5 and don't expect to change it unless something dire happens. Anyway, have you thought of doing a Rode ME & Mailada X5 comparison video? It would be interesting. Also, do you have any recommendations for settings to use for the X5 with my iPhone12pm?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but with iPhone or Android, the transmitter isn't recognized. I have to pair it eveytime. I don't think this is how it's supposed to work.
it is not how its supposed to work.. once paired, it stays paired... bizzarre .. hopefully, someone from Rode can help you on your unit
