The documentary is very interesting, but the intro's audio is extremely loud. It is very strange to play such load music at the beginning when some people could be using earphones and have their ears seriously affected by simply clicking 'play'.

She is a courageous and inspiring woman. She is an example of how in even the most gentle of religions, women are still thought of as less….and for what? Man or woman makes no difference when it comes to intelligence, benevolence, love, and humility. As for those who say wasted life or imply Christianity is better, we’ll that is your opinion. Somewhere, someone probably feels the same about you or your beliefs. If you can’t be respectful of someone or something that comes from peace and love, then the conflict is within you as to why you feel the need to poo poo this woman and her Buddhism in the comments for all to see. You are simply revealing who you are inside.

Its interesting, because it varies so wildly depending on culture. The part with the Chinese Nun saying that in Buddhism it is taught that only a person in a male body can attain Buddhahood is an idea influenced by culture, and male Buddhist teachers rather than anything taught in the Sutras or by supposed Boddhisattvas, this idea/concept arose in pretty much every Buddhist majority culture in different forms, but has never actually been a tenant outlined anywhere by the Buddha, either in the Sutras or the Suttas. Buddhist majority countries still have problems with gender and how they view women, but its not a facet of Buddhism itself. You'll find this idea to varying degrees in every Asian country pretty much, whether they are trying to become Arahants or full fledged Buddhas, and some are more insistent on it than others. SE Asia tends to be the worst as most SE Asian countries will outright refuse to ordain women on the basis of an interpretation of a specific rule in the Theravada Vinaya, and female laity are often times treated as no more than house maids in those countries.

Since then ive been alone, and ive lived this way by choice . Its taken me until about 6 months ago to find myself and I found myself wen I found Jesus.. Jesus's teachings are the way to eternal life and happiness, the life you live you will answer for in front of the creator, the Father and Mother and Son which are all one and wen you realize this the holy ghost will fill that empty space in you ! At the beginning of the video she says Jesus cant save us and in a way she is rite he cant save ur flesh but dont not fear he who can only harm the flesh but who can also harm the soul . Ego is what gives us motivations, emotions both positive and negative, such as jealousy, anger, greed. We are externally comparing ourselves to others, societal values and culture. All socially constructed. This work is to look quietly inside oneself and see what arises, especially our egos and fears. See it for what it is, emotions fears are not real but crutches and then let them go. Let the Ego, go.

I believe that she was a 'realized' monk in her last incarnation who has come to dispel the false, dismissive view of women. She's doing good works and has begun the restoration of recognizing, accepting and valuing the Buddha in everyone. The very meaning of 'Namaste', I've understood to mean, 'the Divine in me bows low to, or greets, the Divine in you'. Evolution not only is inevitable, inexorable, but mandatory.

@@Angela091163 There seem to be two ways of spirituality which at first glance appear to be contradictory and mutually exclusive. One person may be on the path to enlightenment; for him or her, the goal of life is final liberation, freedom from all bondage and all pain and sorrow. This person seeks, as the Buddha put it, "the end of sorrow." Another person may be seeking salvation, to have his or her soul saved from sin. It's interesting that sin is sometimes defined as: the state of separation from God. And the seeker of enlightenment is seeking liberation from all the veils of illusion which keep him from union with God or ultimate reality. So even though on the surface the quest for salvation and the search for enlightenment may seem very different, it may simply be that, though the approaches may differ, the end- oneness with Ultimate Reality or Truth or God- may be the same.

Ezekiel 23:49 You will suffer the penalty for your lewdness and bear the consequences of your sins of idolatry. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.” Jesus is truth and the way! Jesus Christ is the only 1 true God. Give your life to Jesus Christ before it’s too late.
