Im sorry but the woman that had the 8th child, not knowing eho the father was and none of the children are still with her, needs to be judge ordered to be sterile. Those poor children at the selfishness of their mother.
Please! If she wanted a bond with her child she wouldn’t have committed a crime in the first place to end up in prison! These women are manipulative and only care about themselves!
@ not everyone is raised with the same standards as morals. I can’t judge her for her crimes. The system already did that. She’s been punished for her crime and that’s appropriate! She’s still human though. It’s What she does after her arrest and incarceration that is important. Your attempt to just further shame her for not doing what you or I would have done is not productive for her or society. It’s about teaching her from the arrest until her release, it’s about taking that time to try and educate her and teach her better coping skills and priorities.Pumping milk is good for her baby, breastfeeding isn’t easy on its own. Full time pumping is even harder. Shes choosing to do something that’s not easy at all to do, but she’s choosing to do it for her baby. Do you not think most people that make terrible decisions wish they could go back in time to change it? Everyone has made or will made mistakes, bad choices and decisions that they regret and wish they could change, yourself included. Maybe it wasn’t criminal, maybe you just didn’t get caught, but I’m certain you’re but even close to perfect. I have 6 children. I breastfed all of them and I can assure you pumping is not easy to do and can be very time consuming, painful and difficult so this woman’s choice to endure the struggle for the health of her baby and to help maintain that bond is beautiful. You’re just petty.
This is an amazing program for the women inmates!! All prisons should adopt this program!! It’s beneficial for all parties involved especially the precious little Angels!!! ❤😢
Not for the ones who can't keep them there. It's a huge burden on the families, especially taking them to the jail for visits and having to screen them.
Looking for "love" in all the wrong places because not found they are all totally loved as infants by the world but we're unable to feel it from good parenting and other reasons yet. Women are so wonderful. There's too much confusion by our youth because of media, money problems and neglect.❤😢 xoxo to all of us in our incorrect decisions. Know you are so much more.❤
@Erinflave nope its giving locked up its giving smelly its giving no sun light its giving no kitchen no lounge , no car, no bathing area just one cage room
This is absolutely not fair to new babies. No innocent person should ever live behind bars. These women are apparently guilty of serious crimes. Why on earth do this to an infant?!!?! Not ever.
I’m not sure that if, the mother is qualified for this program, separating them will benefit the child. That time after birth is so crucial. Just my unsolicited two cents. Love & Light from Miami Shores🦚 Stay safe mate✌🏼🌎 Have a care for one another🫧
I disagree. If they are non violent with low sentences, they should be allowed to have their babies. Do you think they will remember. Why not teach them to be good moms with the supervision of others instead of releasing them in the streets. Makes no sense and more prisons should be like this. Obviously there needs to be certain guidelines.
The baby close to the mother is the best place. In this case the mothers are supervised. The closeness to the mother is healthy for the baby and that impact will show along the years. I support this ICOP program.
The baby does not know they're behind bars lol. There is a limit and they will be out before they'd ever know. It's extremely important for the wellbeing of the child to bond with their mother. This program is literally for the child's benefit, not the mom's.
That is crazy. Did you even watch the video? The ones allowed to have their babies are nonviolent criminals with smaller sentences. Teach them to be great moms while under supervision of others. It gives them a greater chance of rehabilitation.
No baby should be taken from its mother without the mom's permission. Not counting when the baby stays with the mother's family until the mom is released from prison
I think it’s better for them than being put in the foster care program ! I say that because it’s a very flawed system but mothers usually love their own children but they are in prison so it’s definitely not ideal for them the bond they have will get from a loving mother is important ! You have to admit that being in prison for a crime doesn’t stop the love they feel but it’s a cycle of dysfunction that needs to be stopped so at least give it a chance and see if will be successful 😊😊😊
When the parent commits a crime, period, they should never be allowed to have nor see their children again. By no means should underage children be allowed in any prison.
I understand the feeling. I would rather die than have my baby taken away from me. To say "it's not fair" though? Like you didn't put yourself in this situation?
I think this is a great program. It will make those women bond with their kids and reconsider their lives. When they have a baby next to them, i'm sure they will not want to commit crimes anymore

I agree 100%
💯
agree!
16:56 so proud of her for pumping. It makes her feel so important and it’s so good for her to maintain that bond. I pray she’s doing well.

Why is this called deadly moms raising children when the ones allowed to have their kids are non violent criminals.
Click bait
Why didn't these women think about their kids before getting in trouble and going to jail?
So kind officer crutchfield❤

How so?!
It may be good for the inmates, but it's certainly not good for the children.

@@1corinthians-138 she’s talking about the ones who get to keep their babies there
@@katharina... do you think a baby is going to remember when they’re that little
A prison is no place for an innocent child
I can think of worse places for a baby. And the baby is with its mother
@@Lisa59yes! And that “mother” is in PRISON!🙄

34:21 how precious that an Amish family is doing foster care.
I wouldn't be selfish and keep a baby in prison where it's smelly dirty, no proper items.
Did you even watch the video. They do have proper items in our kept separate separately from mass population.
@Erinflave nope its giving locked up its giving smelly its giving no sun light its giving no kitchen no lounge , no car, no bathing area just one cage room
@Erinflave surrounded by murders, the place is prison you blind
@Erinflave that's just the small basic stuffs
What a wonderful program this prison put together.
Painful to watch newborn baby being separated from the mother
Then she shouldn’t have committed a crime!
29:04 8th baby. How?? In jail how does she get pregnant. And not knowing who dad is. Omg

Wenn Heather sagt das ist nicht fair kann ich nur lachen, dass was ihr euren Kindern antut ist nicht fair!!!!!
Why didn"t they contact the mother- in-law the day before. The prison would have knowm.
Adoption is the best option. Raise money and give it to the victims or the victims relatives

I agree. People scream when a woman has an abortion but society doesn’t want to help a pregnant inmate. That’s hypocrisy.
I can’t believe they put that woman in prison for stabbing her boyfriend . Just listen to her she doesn’t feel she did anything wrong .
Where and when did they get pregnant???
You want to know the exact dates and locations or what are you getting at?
That prison was really close to downtown Indy, but it's closed down now. This is an old video
😮💔❤
35:02 she’s not a mixed baby. She’s beautiful.
It's a Retelecast... this vedio was uploaded many days ago ...
How long do the babies stay with the moms in the program?
TOO long!
Never knew wow
This is a sad commentary on our society!
They love their epidurals in the USA.

Or produce babies who grew up in the system and are thus become numb to it?
You’re delusional to think that these women care about anyone other than themselves! Especially their babies!🙄
