I love the original eventhough the older I get the less impressed I get by high pitch screaming. I think that Blackmore's Night version is great. I mean, why do a cover if it's the same as the original?
I'm not a fan of either version but I listened to Deep Purple's for comparison. Blackmore's Night's version is easier to listen to. The femaILE singer handles the "ahahahah" part in a much less annoying style.
