I've listened to Jordan Peterson for hours and not once have I ever heard him say anything offensive. He speaks the truth and gives good advice for everyone, man and woman alike.
The elites don’t like what he has to say - they want us dependant on pills, the next diet, the next Oprah book, consuming unnecessary things and their entertainment to ry feeling better. And they want people to fell ‘oppressed’ so that we rely our hopes on them to change our lives and vote for their ‘promising’ policies. So as always they’ll create an image and a character with their fallacies , which most people will fall for until they actually listen to him talk.
@@carmensandiego4270 Elites? You can't be referring to politicians, there is nothing elite about them. Nor could you be referring to to advertising morons who pedal drugs. Oprah is entertainment only. Sure she is rich, but money isn't always a sign of being a better person... You are highlighting the assumption of oppression, which simply isn't the case.
Angry Ted I’m talking about people with money and power who’d rather keep things as they are, and not have people think for themselves. I never mentioned oppression, you did.
Itz hard for me to believe that there are people who would cast a person such as Jordan Peterson in a negative light...the guy is a gem! A becon for my generation or at least for a lost and confused soul like me who has no freaking clue what life is about. He brings out not only the right answers...but the right questions. He makes me see! Thank you JP.
Atoi Ngam always be skeptical. Humans are flawed. Dr. Peterson is no different... He would agree IF he is as honest and objective as he appears... But appearances can be deceiving
Atoi Ngam Only liberals would cast him in a negative light. Why? Current liberalism is attempting to enslave followers to the narrative despite our excesses that they are victims, owed something and it their neighbor depriving them from reaching their goals. Those fallacies cause them to depend on others for things to improve, they in this dependency can steal from others more competent. They can even use violence to even the playing field. Peterson is blowing that fallacy of thinking and their false premises. Who you are, want to be, become is your responsibility and up to you. If you fail or succeed is no one else's fault but your own. You are the author of your own destiny.
Ninjabat007 see you must be a liberal. Liberals are always negative and see the bad in others. I'm a conservative so I chose to love even my enemies. Everyone deserves to be respected for our differences and individuality. What I love about being a conservative. I don't have to view life like you do through the lens of victimhood. I'm a victor even when I hit a crisis or suffer. Because I'm the author of my life not my government or my neighbor having to give me something so I'm okay. I'm responsible for the outcome of my life. I'm not a victim like liberals like to be to manipulate other to have to give them their gifts. Develop your own. Be a leader
Someone give this man a nobel price or something, i would've loved to have him as a teacher, still damn glad ive found him, thanks for everything you're doing Jordan!🙏🏽
I agree with you because I know what your talking about. The Noble peace prize is an absolute joke now! They gave Gerard Ford one (with Bill Clinton's help) for giving North Korea nuclear weapons.Thats how they got them proven and admitted by North Korea. Peace prize huh. How about Obama? Started war in 7 different countries when he was president. Peace prize huh. Then the man that invented or found out DNA. The building block of every human on the planet. He told the world about the double helix! They took his 4 Nobel peace prize away because he did a report on a topic that wasn't politically correct. Yeah the man who figured out DNA. Why would anyone want to hear what someone like him thinks? Nobel peace prize should have the word Nobel removed and should just be called peace of S#@t prize.
my heart breaks for this man , idk why but I feel like this man has suffered so much in life and is trying to help people that were once like him to suffer less
well, I believe it's his meaning of life to improve and help others to improve. Life is chaos without meaning and each person should create own meaning.
Sometimes suffering lurks in our shadows and life’s distractions keep us from looking at, or even seeing it. But it is there to varying amounts throughout time. An individual like Dr Peterson displays great courage having visited his own underworld time and time again. Carrying his torch of cleansing light to illuminate his own shadow. Through this process he undoubtedly experienced the very real pain brought on by the death of parts of the ego. I say this because he speaks of this very thing. But not just that, he also speaks of the beauty of the rebirth of the higher self, and what greater purpose in life is there than that?! Like the rebirth of a phoenix raising from it own ashes. Perhaps this is the meaning in life? How much better could our world be if each of us did just this one thing…learn to open our eyes and really see, feel, and love ourselves and in the process others as well. Dr Peterson seems to have found great meaning in all of this and is now a torch bearer for many others. His work has transformed my life and, in this, I am not alone. After all meaning is the antidote to suffering and when we start to unpack all of this we learn that the gifts of life’s wisdom only come from the understanding of our own mistakes, suffering and attachments whatever those may be. This wisdom is more valuable than gold itself. I trust that heartbreak or pity is a very real feeling. Explore it with curiosity and compassion. Meditate on it. Ask yourself truthfully is it for Mr Peterson? The fundamental nature of the shadow is that we project ours onto others. Please understand this is not good or bad, it is simply the human condition. It is nothing to be ashamed of, but rather something to be curious about. Grateful for. As it has allowed all of us to cope and continue to exist through our pain. I understand this may not be true for you but, I urge you to not answer this question lightly, or quickly from the mind. For the mind can be deceiving. Rather really allow yourself the space and respect to feel into it. Connect to your source, whatever that may mean for you, really feel it in your body and honestly ask what your heartbreak is trying to tell you? 🙏 For me feelings of immense gratitude for Dr Peterson come up. For he has shown us the way to deal with the perceived ugliness in our own shadows because that is the path to our higher selves. As we tentatively learn to walk this new path, with care, we find that what lurks in the places we least want to look are in fact the greatest gifts in life. It is the place where mistakes stop being mistakes but rather become our greatest source of our own wisdom and our inner teacher of life’s lessons. Our connection to a higher source.
Always true, listen well and verify ideas for oneself by applying them & then do so consistently with new goals. Peterson or anything, if it rings true listen to your own bullshit meter - and always test everything. Intelligence is always better than dogma, and people of more dogmatic mindset seem to very cranky at the kind of free thought, shared ideas and open discussion that Peterson promotes. Some people who attack such things by way of a strawman or by ad hominem just want a closed-architecture system of knowledge, one which preserves personal status and deliberately controls other people, basically. Not just in universities, but other institutions and often for example in journalism. This man by contrast wants to put good university education online! It's highly disruptive to the jealous old guard, as it must be.
@Rick Lane JP is very open about his income sources and how much he earns from each. Why shouldn't he monetize? He is going to do very good things for tertiary education with that money. You'll see.
I have lived so much of what he's talking about... both good and bad. Amazing. I wish I would have heard this 30 years ago. It blows me away that he appears to have improvised this entire lecture off the top of his head. If he was a jazz musician, he'd be one of the best ever. If you're young... listen to this man. Period. Trust me...
@@mickeydrago9401 he obviously knows his stuff, but what was being pointer out is, he can keep going without reading his notes or the presentation (he has them, but sometimes he just doesn't use them as much and develops the topic)... Just the way a musician would practice his scales and study progressions, composition and voicings for 20 years, all so you can play and improvise the way you aimed decades earlier. :)
Dr. Norman Doidge, MD, who wrote the forward to Dr. Peterson's book, 12 Rules for Life, also described Dr. Peterson in the Forward, as a Jazz Musician who had studied and contemplated his notes and scales when speaking. Great analogy!!!
JP literally creates in-depth lectures on things I would think about in my free time as a kid, but no one was talking about it...I can imagine he is serving as a much needed role model for many. Thank you for spreading intelligence & moral accountability and tackling ignorance!!
Did Mr. Peterson have a awful childhood? My parents divorced when I was 2 stepdad the drunk hated me Told me everyday I would grow up to be a nobody I left at 14 learned everything the hard way. I told someone when I was 19 about it they said u spent 4 years on the streets of chi-town? Poor thing. I hate that. it was the best 4 years of my life. I think much like Peterson only without the education. I became the man I never met: a good father. The totality of your eventual past is currently in your hands. If this guy was my stepfather I'd be president...better yet smart enough not to want to be.
@@robertduna3421 sorry you were verbally abused like that.. stepdad is probly old, crusty and alone now? Mom shoulda stayed alone to protect you! Glad you value being a good father.. can you even imagine saying such things to a child?!? Blessings on your future, brother..
@@adevore1971 thank you. I treated my daughter like a queen she is 23 now the other day she said the nicest thing to me I ever heard: " I wish you had a dad like I did" that hit me in the heart hard.
I’m 60, and I love this classroom. I visit often & think about what I’ve learned. Funny that someone nearby said ‘A father for those who didn’t have one’. Well, I didn’t have one, but I decided as a kid that, if ever I was to become a parent, I’d try really hard to be a good father. Because I knew what a terrible thing it is to have have no one care what you do or what happens to you. You can be your own carer. Take care of yourself as if you really matter, has gradually been what I did, after a few decades of flopping around, being a worthless victim. JBP has nothing to do with it in my case, but I find myself nodding a helluva lot & occasionally sharing clips with my daughters. Then we talk.
The problem with platitudes is that they're all written by people who've had sheltered and coddled lives. What if there AREN'T any people who want you to succeed, no matter where you are or where you go? Even worse than that, what if there are only people who's definition of success is being a copy of them? (i.e. Parents)? Best of luck.
I found that to be a good solution to the people who can find such a perfect world (that isn't an echo chamber of self masturbatory conflagration of ill-won congratulations) You know what helped me? This man and the realization that I am TOTALLY alone No one is going to help me No one is going to run to my aid No one is going to give me a hand There are no reinforcements There is no cavalry It's all me or NOTHING. Amen. The certainty of this is, almost at the same time... is both terrifying &exhilarating.
Sometimes this guy talks and I feel like he's directly addressing me, he forces me to look at the parts of myself that I hate the most. Peterson has genuine insight into humanity and I respect him for speaking truth as he sees it even in the face of negativity.
I was brought up by my uncle who was a great man and he would always get really excited if someone got a win, he just loved seeing someone do well. He was a great fly fisherman and many times he would hook six or eight good trout when all the other fishermen caught none, and my uncle, Big Raymond as everybody knew him would give all the other fishermen a fish. He was a great teacher, and a great man.
Your uncle was a gem of a person, then. Too much are we surrounded by those who engage in schadenfreude and sour grapes. I grew up around people who consistently tried to hold me down, and it left psychological marks.
@@jt4369 I'm so sorry. Unfortunately there are many of those types of people around. I hope you've come across kinder people who love seeing you flourish.
For those of us over 40: It may feel like a stab in the stomach to hear him say that you can easily be done by 40. For a long time after hearing this, I was stuck. Had the feeling I was ruined. But, we have to get over that. And keep going. We can make your lives meaningful and change at any age. There are just some things that may not be possible anymore biologically if it hasn't been done already. Like having a family if your a 40+ female. Even then, if it is something you want, there are ways. There are many other ways we can make our lives meaningful.
Hey I'm 39 and you're right to hear "done by 40" is painful to hear. Thanks for reinforcing my belief that I'm not done. I brought my son up as a single father from the age of 16, he's 22 now and I feel about the same age mentally. I hope I can restart my life and I haven't done too much physical/mental damage to myself that I can't recover.
Don't listen to his "done by 40" because I have a friend a black Jamaican Rastaman who is in his 60s and he just had another kid...and another friend who is a white Rastaman with a BA in sociology and he is in his 50s...he has a 3yr old and and a 4yr old turning 5...and his wife is pregnant now...they own 2 homes and his oldest son who is an adult lives in one of them with his wife...Peterson is smart but he doesn't know everything
@@jasonward6398 The "Done By 40" comment was not aimed at people who end up watching his lectures years later on RUclips. It was targeted at a young university audience. Don't pick conclusions from the video that are not intended by Peterson.
Life can truly begin at 40! I met the love of my life at 39, and our daughter was born when I was 40. She just turned 16 and she lights up my life every single day! I just wrote my first book and it was published this November and I am now 56! I feel so free at this age and am comfortable with who I am. Every day is a gift for you to unwrap. Go after your dreams and make them happen! 💗🎁💗
But intelligence like Jordan's is tapering down. Times are a- changin as with the shifting centers of power. Western thought has been supreme but there is no forever. This worldview is the reason why satori has never been achieved. And reason why life is topsy-turvy. We were dictated by Descartes' I think therefore I am maxim wc has been proven to be wrong.
Jordan is the one person that has touched me the most deeply in my near memory. Your intellect is unsurpassed, your analysis and insightfulness is simply genius.
I'm very encouraged that someone like Jordan Peterson is able to spread truth in this age of "group thought/group identity". The individual has been left behind and are lost. This is excellent advice and guidance. I'm happy to see him getting this much exposure.
8:36 I love how his advice is valid on every activity/goal. No matter if you apply on relationships/school/career on arts or as a lawyer... Your aim should be to improve, improve, improve, and keep trying till you die, but at least you died satisfied with your attempts cause you never stopped. You didn't stop to cry (or stopped doing so), just kept going. :)
I never tire of listening to this most authentic and loving soul. He doesn't speak just to hear himself talk and he shares wisdom spontaneously from the depth of his being, all of which is founded in experience and immense study. A modern-day sage indeed.
You guys would not believe how potent this small advice is. Define a goal and define every little piece of your daily grind as moving towards that goal. Man this helps so much.
Sometimes I put the speed on .75 while listening to Jordan. I am able to let it "sink in" better and it gives me more time for note taking. He does speak pretty fast at times.
Hello Mr.Peterson, you might not see this but I'll write it anyway. I was in a 2 year chaotic (and toxic) relationship. I was also working full-time in accounting. I was really unhappy with my love life and my career. I started hitting the gym, I got out of my toxic relationship and I'm going back to school in Civil Engineering. (I saw a guidance counselor and that field of work seemed really interesting for me). I'm living an exciting but rough patch, since I destroyed everything I had to start building something new, something that I'm convinced will be better. I like listening to your stuff coming back from work, it helps me a lot with the sort of chaos I'm voluntarily confronting. You're giving me the strength and the motivation to keep it up, to keep fighting the dragon of chaos. Thanks a lot man :)
Hey man just wanted to encourage your journey and let you know that its the correct path regardless of the immediate outcomes because now you're consciously trying to find happiness and a sense of satisfaction in life and the rough patch will make that stand out. I am over 50 and was very, very, suicidal 3years ago. Through the pain, your truths Mr Peterson, cut through the pain with more pain , but the most healing pain . I am looking forward to the rest of my short life, doing nothing more than being honest and sincere. Congrats Mr Peterson, you ve saved another person from a life of lies....
What? Empower individuals with simple and strategic cognitive frameworks that enrich and embolden the self? The establishment doesn't want that They want dr. phil to tell you that you are ill, maladjusted victims. Worse still, that's what many people want to hear about themselves. Being motivated in life is scary because it means that we have to embrace and maintain the notion that we are responsible for all our successes and failures in life.
I was 30 before I confronted all this and realized that my fundamental problem was sin, and the fact that I was born that way, thanks to Adam & Eve. And there is only One Way out of this trap. Now at 74, I’m so glad I found that One Way - Jesus Christ!!
He's been meditating and studying on his topics for a long time. He probably doesn't need to think much. But, there are videos out there where he stammers, and stumbles around for words. But his Golden Mind more than makes up for it.
He is what any one of us can be after 30 years of meaningful work. He said there was a point in his life where he "became serious" - I think it was somewhere in his 20's.
I believe in a team player mentality. It's important for me recognize that I can't do it all myself. So, I surround myself with people who have knowledge in areas that I don't. Together, as team we can be successful. It then takes a lot of work, consistency, dedication, determination and visualization of my goals completed to manifest my goals. It starts with a thought and then an action plan.
Team player mentality is a reality that no one can deny. We are really, at the daily basis, relying on each other to take care of the things that we know nothing about and the things that we cannot handle. But for me personally, I still have a question, its actually more of a worry, and it is becoming reliant on somebody else. In other words, sabotaging myself from gaining new skills, to a degree that one will be surprised that I know that much, its more of a fomo. If I settle for the the team mentality, I will be selling myself so short
@@oussamasaci Its more of a balancing act. "Balance is key" Yes its a cliche, but its very important. You need to be able to be a team player as well as be able to stand up and be an individual.
@@oussamasaci Team player is very different from co-dependency which is what you are describing here. It might help to write down the qualities or shortcomings of each and choose the one you want. It might help you better identify what it is you want to avoid and what it is you want to pursue.
Simplified. Know who you are and what you want in life. Then plan it and execute it. Most people plan more for their vacations than for their lives. They just float along, following what the other sheeple do. Unfortunate. It's why so many people are unhappy.
This is why I'm stuck. Completely, I have no idea what makes me ALIVE. I have passions, but I always have second thoughts. Jordan mentions to do something that relates to your personality type, but I'm not sure what mine is. The idea that I need to get a job and earn money to do anything, working day in, day out completely depresses me. It puts me off completely, even though I NEED one and looking is humiliating, and debilitating. I'm just floating along, doing the bare minimum, thinking it shouldn't be this way. I know I have to make it, but the motivation is the biggest problem for me. I have none. And finding it, has been hard. This video is for people like me, for definite. It's already helping, and I'm not far into it.
@@mangalover0149 I hope something with you has changed in the last 3 months. Same boat here. A recent very sudden death has opened my eyes about wasting time, and I'm pretty late in life (early 30s) and people are telling me that my step dads death changed me somehow. Personally I feel it's a "life is short I've wasted time being nice instead of being totally honest" and I think honesty is what is needed more in life than tip toeing around avoiding saying something that'll hurt their feelings. Just know that there are people who feel exactly as you do, and this video hit home hard, and put into words those random thoughts that you can't really express to other people more eloquently than I ever could have. I don't have the advice to help you fix whatever is going on with you, but just knowing there are actually REAL other people out there dealing with the same stuff I hope is comforting for you.
I'd say many people (50%+) have a fairly clear goal set. But then their family unit is lost; they're laid off and the preset career becomes gradually unstable; their friend network (which only a minority have, I suspect) is chipped away slowly. My point? the stabilizing meaning centers of our lives quite easily slip out of our grasp, and largely due to no serious fault of our own, I suspect. We do need to work on, define, and set up goals. But goals need to be one feature within a larger structure. Goals, and achieving them, doesn't make a life meaningful, but we still need them of course. But by themselves they don't constitute a solution.
💯💯💯 I've watched and listened to countless Dr. Peterson videos and pod casts and love them all...one really fantastic thing is no matter where you are in life you're SURE to come across some wisdom from him that will help in one way or another! What he has helped me here in how to approach my boss about a raise, not even I feel I deserve, but literally all my co-workers have pointed out and one manager even so far as to tell me they're going to speak to someone on my behalf aswell! So he's right! Don't wait for the opportunity fairy to come by and just give it to you. Go earn your worth! You know how valuable you are and can be!
Sir Jordan Peterson is one of those few people who have ever existed on Earth, who is articulated to the degree that whenever he speaks, every word has a message and can be explained in an essay. For E.g. - when he is making a reference to the bad employee and worst boss., even the superlative degree in boss has a deeper meaning... I am a student in India and every time I invest my time listening to you, I come out sharper and stronger. THANK YOU, JP... all power to you, listening to you and applying the fundamental principles and objectives is a blessing and my fortunateness.
I just want to live happy. I don’t mind losing everything any more. I have no desire to accumulate any more money, knowledge or relationships. I feel depressed sir. Ill try to motivate my self more. I need to see what I really want. I was happy when I was being a good person. I have destroyed so many relationships and led so many people astray from happiness. Listening to your videos helps me think. Thanks Dr.
He puts into words the thoughts that I've had all along. I used to force myself to work all day, every day, and I got burnt out very quickly. Once I honed my work in to just a few responsibilities a day, I found that I was getting a lot more done because I was enjoying my life more. Enjoyment does not have to be the opposite of long-term productivity.
@MrM QuickScope Perhaps he refers to a paternal figure. Any man at various points of his life, even if he is mature, needs a paternal figure. Someone older and wiser.
I'm in campus and whenever i start telling people on the problems of the world and social media is distracting them from taking them on..they call me a goodie wannabe..I hope to use your every piece of wisdom to change the world and reduce human suffering to the best of my ability..may GOD bless you all the days of your life sir
I love how he frames everything personally to his students. Knowing he's a clinical psychologist and many of these people are in it to be clinicians he applies it to the individual's life. And, i wonder what the wait list is to get in to his classes, lucky students, but aren't we all. AND, a by-the-way, btw haha.. the WHAT in life is the most important thing. God Bless You All.
The trick here is that you are still more valuable telling the problem rather than hiding it (which is what most people will do), because that can sum up over time. But yeah finding solutions is fun
Jordan Peterson has a huge impact on my life and on the work I do. After I read his book - 12 rules for life - I felt like there are topics like parenting which can be seen from a completely different position of strength. More than this, any other subject must be seen from such an intellectual perspective if we are interested to better our decision making process. While I was writing the script for the animation I did for his book I realized that 12 rules for life will be on the must-read list in high schools 5-10 years from now. Excellent title for the video!
@Rick Lane your anguish is palpable. I hope your life resolves itself soon, for the sake of those who have to endure you on a daily basis. Get help before it's too late.

He is so frustrated it bothers me. Yes what hes saying makes sense, but this sense of miserable frustration gets to me. Hes also consistently way too abstract, going on and on And on and on and on and on And on and on and on and on and on and on and on
I’ve watched so much Jordan Peterson and am always AMAZED by his eloquence in transmitting EMPOWERING wisdom. His message is all about taking responsibility. This is THE THING that helped me out. Thank you.
This man is genuine, and he has been battered by comments alleging he is of left or right opinion... Think He is an honest person giving humbling advise
I love Jordan's lectures. I listen to them while I work and when I am chilling in my easy chair. To me these are like free college. Free college of the utmost quality. I myself do not have any major mental conflicts that he helps me with. But I wish I'd found somebody like him years ago. Because to get where I am was an epic struggle. Not many people can say this. Few achieve it alone. Dr. Peterson is a treasure. I deeply envy him for his deep pursuits and discoveries in his life. To my mind, nothing makes for a finer existence than grappling with the deep problems of life.
I have been using these principles for fifty years. If all my money was taken away it probably wouldn’t affect me all that much. As long as I maintain integrity and my health holds up it would just be a matter of time before I had money again. I feel grateful and blessed to have the people in my life that makes my life so good. I thought everyone knew what JP is talking about. It’s not easy but it works. It gets easier as your skill set improves and you gain experience. Good luck. Love

I been listening to Jordan Peterson for a few months now with his advice and truths he speaks I've been doing better at work and doing my best to be 1% better every day and now every day my bosses come to me and let me know how good I'm doing and how much they appreciate how much better and harder I'm working
I meanedered through my 20's and 30's undecisive as to what I wanted to do and to what my purpose is. I went to college, tried many different careers, travleled the world on what littl emoney I had. Now I'm at a place where I've figured out my purpose and true desires in my early 40's. It just took that long. No regrets. It's never too late to change trajectory and build the life of your dreams as long as you NEVER give up.
Exactly. I left a bad 20 year marriage, when my kids were teenagers. In my 40s I took out student loans to get my Masters in an adult weekend program, while still working full time. Two years and 6 months later I got my teachers license and my first classroom. Two years after that I met the love of my life. We've been happy for almost 20 years now, and I'm retired. I too was a late bloomer, but once I made the choice to change my life, and put in the very hard work, my life did change, all for the better. It was so worth it! Forgot to add: I saw a counselor for a while, who helped me to figure out what baby steps I had to take, to eventually reach my goals. If you just keep taking those steps, you'll get there, sooner than you'd think. I also had people in my life who, once they saw me making actual changes, they were right there to support me and encourage me. But I had to take those first couple of steps on my own.
As an agreeable person I spent the majority of the last 20 years focusing on my family and children as this was the goal I found most rewarding in my life. Five years ago I got divorced and my narcissistic ex used alienation to destroy my relationship with my children and now everything that made my life fulfilling was lost in the blink of an eye. Trying to rebuild my life and motivations after this loss has been the most difficult thing I have ever endured.
The Power of Habit taught me the same lessons Dr. Peterson talks about at the beginning of this video but I really didn't seem to listen until I heard it so eloquently portrayed by him. What an astounding linguist and seemingly endless source of knowledge.

Jordan Peterson please run for office!!! The country needs you 🙏 Thank you for your efforts and words of wisdom. Peace on earth and GOOD WILL TO EVERYONE 💖
I am totally engrossed with Dr Peterson’s videos. He is definitely helping me realize I can help myself and improve how to navigate my life. He is direct, no mincing words or concepts. Thanks Dr Peterson for your steadfast responding to those who attach you, DONT stop doing what you what you do do so well and professionally.
He speaks to the heart of the matter. Our heart. Finding what is in our heart and following it brings wealth. Wealth that is what is left after someone thanks your money away. Bettering me and others by making life easier. Easing the suffering of others.
To all the dreamers out there, don't ever let the world's negativity disenchant you or your spirit. If you surround yourself with love and right people, ANYTHING is possible. 🙏🖤
This is unbelievable. I feel like this is the video that alot of people are looking for. A piece of content that encompasses everything (well maybe not everything) but at least some of the building blocks which are gonna be used to build a base for your new life. Peterson knows that and I think this is why he chose to cover these particular aspect or treats of personality. Absolutely remarkable, very useful.. Thank you so much for sharing
I've listened to Jordan Peterson for hours and not once have I ever heard him say anything offensive. He speaks the truth and gives good advice for everyone, man and woman alike.
I heard him say motherfucker once, which also made him 100X more relatable to me. God bless this man.
Brandon McCoy what!? He said motherfucker!? Lol...
Atoi Ngam always be skeptical. Humans are flawed. Dr. Peterson is no different... He would agree IF he is as honest and objective as he appears... But appearances can be deceiving
Your not alone and I’m 52
@@seanmoran6510 yup
Be a leader

Yes, that is usually where the best advice comes from.. experience and he knows first hand that's why he cares so much ❤
The best advise come from people that made it through the experience. JP must be a hell of a therapist!
well, I believe it's his meaning of life to improve and help others to improve.
Life is chaos without meaning and each person should create own meaning.
Life is suffering
For me feelings of immense gratitude for Dr Peterson come up.
Man! I feel lucky to have found Jordan Peterson here on You Tube. I was beginning to think common sense was gone. It isn't.
Thank You Sir

Those that actually listen and apply Jordan Peterson's advice can radically change their lives for the better.
You'll see.

Even then, if it is something you want, there are ways. There are many other ways we can make our lives meaningful.

That's interesting. john Green also mentioned that in one video. (ruclips.net/video/3lkn8MS3n8Q/видео.html)

What an incredible thinker and speaker. I think about the exact same stuff all the time and he puts it into words. Just incredible.
Brilliant stuff. Makes me feel hopeful, depressed and anxiety filled all at once. Dude is pretty amazing.
Thanks Dr.
Keep at it man. It gets better. How u been ?
Try some Wim Hoff breathing and cold therapy- all the best
The craziest thing I can think of is why do people dislike or hate Jordan Peterson he’s just to amazing
The daddy we all need
Jordan Peterson is able to change a boy to a man.
He is the dad we all need
@MrM QuickScope Perhaps he refers to a paternal figure. Any man at various points of his life, even if he is mature, needs a paternal figure. Someone older and wiser.

This Man ~Jordan Peterson~ Is Beyond Intelligent! I love listening to HIM!!!!!!!!!
"Don't be a problem for someone who wants to give you money."
One of the hardest lessons I've learned, or hope I've learned
Don’t be a problem for God who wants to give you your life
The trick here is that you are still more valuable telling the problem rather than hiding it (which is what most people will do), because that can sum up over time.
Poor little Ricky Lane....
@Rick Lane poor and little and pathetic to troll comment after comment after comment (copy and paste, copy and paste, copy and paste) crapping on people who are getting value from the content. Go find something that floats your boat.
@Rick Lane you call me a troll? rich.
I can not fathom the "intellect" of anyone who would downvote this 30:00 video of common sense.
perhaps they didn't like the background music.
You should have to watch a video to comment and like/dislike. Too much nonsense attached to good content
He is so frustrated it bothers me. Yes what hes saying makes sense, but this sense of miserable frustration gets to me. Hes also consistently way too abstract, going on and on
And on and on and on and on

I CANNOT STOP LISTENING TO THIS MAN...
AMAZING, POWERFUL TRUTH !!!
HIS WORDS ARE SO SPECIFIC & PRECISE. .
I’ve watched so much Jordan Peterson and am always AMAZED by his eloquence in transmitting EMPOWERING wisdom.
His message is all about taking responsibility.
This is THE THING that helped me out. Thank you.
Such a heart for others with broken structure of life.. I respect him a lot
If you end up alone.. go volunteer.. then you won’t be alone and you will be helping someone..
Dr Peterson, you’re pot of gold. So much knowledge; so many good points made. Knowledge is the ultimate good. I’m going to keep learning!
I so admire this man! He’s filled with so much knowledge!
Good luck. Love
Thank you for the breather 😊

Can you imagine how incredibly powerful this man has become? He’s seen the ocean floor of the human mind and it nearly killed him.
And thanks to the grace of God, he survived, came back to the surface FORGED in the truths of life and he spits these fiery truths the devils among us scream and run from in fear. Devils FLEE in the face of this man.
Cherish Jordan Peterson. He’s the Plato, the Ecclesiastes, the Socrates of modern times.
🌺🧡👍🏻
My days are so amazing when I start off my mornings listening to him
I do too...
I thank God for the wisdom, compassion, and encouragement of this man. May God continue to bless him and strengthen him.
This is the kind of lecture I needed when I was in college ... or even high school.
I can't help on that may be you write my trusted crypto analyst's on Whatsapp.

I'm a 5X US NRA National Rifle Champion . What your saying is exactly how I lived my life to get to the top . It would be interesting to talk to you to ask me about the effects of that long process to be a champion.
He's correct ,loss many friends to alcohol and drugs, focus on health is best 1st for me, nothing good can happen if that's not 1st,beat the smoking, I'll keep working

He speaks to the heart of the matter. Our heart. Finding what is in our heart and following it brings wealth. Wealth that is what is left after someone thanks your money away. Bettering me and others by making life easier. Easing the suffering of others.
Excellent material. Really unnecessary, annoying and distracting short images insertions.
