- Our rebellious 15 Minutes with ... host, Stimming, spends 23 minutes with the new Nanobox Razzmatazz for the latest episode.
Across the extended session Stimming explores this third product coming from 1010Music's Nanobox series, which follows on from their Fireball and Lemondrop machines, the latter of which we already featured in this series.
With the Razzmatazz, 1010Music deliver a mini drum sequencer combined with powerful FM synthesis and sampling. The minute instrument packs a powerful punch and can be played via its intuitive touch screen as well a super stepper visual sequencer which can be programmed up to 64 steps. As well as having 120 built in preset kits, the Razzmatazz also offers WAV import via micro-SD and can be midi mapped and clocked, opening up a whole array of possibilities from the dinky pink drum unit. Tune in to see Stimming working his way through some of its potential.

WOW if it comes with an Stimming included. Take my money!!
Super kanal. Entspannt mich völlig. Deine art wie du das machst und dich gibst ist echt genial.
I would be happy if it were a 15 hour timer 😄
On dancefloor even more)
Hi there, great video ! Can you set odd time signatures like 3/4, 5/4, 7/4 or you can play only in 4/4? Thank you !
Really cool video as it shows off what the box can do. Thank you! ❤👏🏻❤️
Can one of the slots be used for a mono bass? meaning can it be played chromatically?
Hiya! To adjust the levels use the top dial in the pan menu mode or you can adjust from individual instrument when you're in the filter/decay menu.
Love your stuff Stimming.
I'll have to admit it's a little bit confusing but I think it sounds absolutely cracking through monitors.
‘It’s as tiny as…’ *stands up* 😅
Thanks for your take on it! I also was let down with the presets.
wow great video!!!!
Wurstfingers will hate it… 🤔😉😂
Left (right) is the Erica Drum Synth?
wurstfingers' doom
@@ktvrec no, soma pulsar23
Feels like a true successor to the ER-1's sound engine
I like the sound engine but I am afraid about the size and only the two potis
great video
mr.
Awesome 👊
Stimming is so cool
Can it resample the internal engine by any chance?
Great review, ok
What you feelis better bang for the buck - drumlogue of this machine?
mkay
wait here for you, forever ...?
Only 15 minutes of Stimming???
Yeah, i don't get the timer.
23 minutes to be precise 😉
OK!
This review was great, OK? OK! It did not help quench my GAS for this little thing though, of course.
Great demo! And hilarious watching you dance to my presets. :) sad you don't like them though. :(
Don’t worry, your presets are excellent, interesting as they are meant to be. Doing a total cliche four on the floor apparently impresses people more.
@@AtticusBleep thanks :)
i fucking love your presets bro, theyre mad sick!
I want to hear what Current Value would do with one of these.
really nice small transients with your first preset.
current who?
@@davidpinto1195 german dnb producer
Probably he would throw it to garbage bin
pls review some jomox.
It's definitely nothing for my sausage fingers.
Oi oi 💨 😂1:50
Cute, but too small to be practical. The same money will get you a Roland TR-6S, which sounds fantastic and does WAY more.
Fair enough!
6:14 sounds like a volca drum lol
volca drum sounds better 😛

Jesus!
You sound so German. ^^
cute hardware app
blackbox was such a let down but the micro step sequencer looks interesting
Blackbox a letdown?
@@musictalk-tech for me it was especially lacking fxs and didn’t really have a song mode
It's interesting that some complain about missing song mode in some machines. I personally don't know any people using song mode within their Groove boxes or samplers. Anyway, the Blackbox has high quality fx and a song mode too at least the possibility to automate pattern chains which is basically the "same" thing.
@@musictalk-tech the fx was very basic compared to a sp mk2 or mpc one, and you can use pad mutes for most song modes but blackbox didn’t have proper pads, only thing I liked about it was it was built like a tank. And could stream from sd, but there are way better samplers out with way better fx sections. it felt really basic the clip like sequences I didn’t mind but to perform with them was frustrating and timing ⏱️ them wasn’t fluid
Also the price for this about 200 bucks over what it should be
cool little thing but the price is the opposite…
ruismaker ftw
Is he happy or not with the machine? Pretty hard to tell
Check his gear recommendations and you will find out 😉

It lookes like 4 €, it sounds like 50 €, so it cost 450 €, wait, what?!
nah, it feels a lot better than it looks. it's build for ages, really.
Every little box that comes out can not be as bad ass as an MPC ,they are all toys
You obviously know shit about music gear
Eh mpc .. it’s too close to using a computer, but not as good. Every time I mess with one all I can think is I’d rather use an iPad
ouh maaaahn, bitte pack doch die doofe uhr weg
